Since I'm locked into using this app to have any navigation show up on the infotainment screen on my Pan Am, it seems like this would be one of the functions that they make sure works properly, latest update will still not let me download maps for offline use to my phone, and unfortunately I ride a lot of places that don't have great cell signal. When it does work it consistently shows my position up to a mile away from where I am. 2 stars because when it works right it seems okay.

I could not get on the app when I was in New Hampshire. Access to features such as tracking on navigation should be more readily available and easier. It would be nice if I could delete some of the notices without having to type in my email and password should be able to get to it and delete it when the notice comes up such as alarm on and cell phone strength

Love the app. Going to miss HD connect though. Lately app hasn't been recording rides correctly. I've narrowed down the problem to not recording properly when the screen is locked. If I leave screen on with the app in foreground it seems to be ok. Trying different settings in power saving to see if I can fix. Funny it appears to be after a recent update on 10/6/21

I wasn't sure what to expect with this app, but I actually love it and use it all the time! The "Ride Record" function is so nice and handy, just open the app, select the bike you're riding, hit record, go for a ride! When you're done, hit the finish ride button. Your ride will be recorded and you'll see exactly where you rode, what the weather conditions were, average speed etc. Plus there are so many fun challenges! I have sla few improvement suggestions, but overall, I love it!

I like the concept of the app and how they try to turn riding into a slight competition among other users. I hate the fact my miles can't be added after a trip. someone could cheat and record while in a cage. why can't I upload my trip after the fact so I can save battery and data while riding. had planned to "record" my last trip and totally forgot so "lost" 300 miles.

it's a good app for rides and event information but once you go to use the store you are better off using the web. if your phone changes orientation then it starts you back at the very first page of the store. the online store also takes a long time to load and doesnt load fully the first time, you get a bunch of rotating dots after you scroll through about a quarter of the page, that's when everything loads. it's kinda annoying. and video play back about the products is horrible.

This is the most worthless un-user friendly app I have ever used. Record a ride and it saves it as a straight line. Tried multiple times to create a route. It wants to reroute to other roads even after dropping waypoints. Dont even think about adding a stop along the way. If you are successful at creating the perfect route, good luck transferring it to your motorcycle and it actually following the route.

Offline capability much needed. When I lose data the app bricks up. What, do you think? We all ride in highly populated cities or something? All I do is ride in areas where there is little to no data... Nothing but complaints from me about this app for a year. I can't imagine using this app for say, a trip around Lake Michigan. I would have to spend an hour skipping forward to the next waypoint EVERY TIME I LOSE DATA or the app crashes. Nice feature, but it still need to be automatic.

Simply a joke. I've had my Pan America Special for almost a year now, and it's been a nightmare trying to use the GPS on the bike. The latest version simply crashes and gives constant messages on my phone about "download unsuccessful". I have to uninstall/install the app for it to kinda work for one route. When it does sorta work, it only shows an actual map some of the time, otherwise it's a check board pattern. Love the bike otherwise, but this is absolutely a ridiculous situation. Fix it!!!

For now, because I've just started using this app, I have to give it 3 stars. More specifically the route planning, I would give 2 stars. Creating a route was pretty straightforward, but the turn by turn got very aggravating. The GPS kept trying to reroute be back to the starting point as soon as I started my trip. Making a point to point route again doubled the mileage and time to bring me back to the starting point. Lastly there is a strong delay to the TbyT.

Navigation for trip planning cumbersome. Hard to add waypoints or destinations without the app selecting a different point when trying to "continue". Lacks ability to drag route plot to choose a different path to same destination. Does not have ability to add predefined rides to list in "where to" as is the Home and My Dealer and there is plenty of room to do so. App does allow to send route to bike which is nice.

This app is a great concept, but needs work in creating routes. Once you select a destination, it calculates it's own route and doesn't allow you to modify it or add waypoints. So, unless you're using the chosen route and riding directly to it, this portion of the app is worthless. The challenges are cool and I like being able to record a ride. App has potential but still needs A LOT of work.

Just bought a 23 Nightster Special. I was looking forward to using the tech features of the bike. However, the features are very poorly optimized. The audio when listening to music cuts in and out. The controls work smoothly, just audio drops in and out. Tried to use the navigation, and it was terrible. Route didn't update. When zooming in on the map it did not show a clear image. Just looked like Lego blocks. Was hard to tell where my turns where. It been nice for it to show a street name.

A lot of my rides are based out of my house. But it doesn't log rides that are loops. Only point A to B rides. Every loop is counted as zero total miles...which is frustrating. Otherwise, the concept is good but I don't have this problem with any of my other GPS based trackers. I only give 2 stars because I like the idea the developers were trying to create. Functionally, this app isn't adequate.

The app is, by and large, useless. It's slow and unresponsive. You can not zoom in and see details or the names of roads or scroll through the route. You can plan routes on a desktop, but the desktop is even slower and buggier, rarely shows fuel stops and when it does you are unable to zoom in on it to even see its name or if its still in business.

Not tracking properly! App has been crashing, miles aren't being recorded. Took 2 round trips this month of aprx 150 miles each and only a small portion of both got tracked. At least Google maps saved my route. I could use the app on my old phone but as it's out of service I'd have to use my mobile Hotspot. I noticed in December it wasn't tracking everything, thought I'd forgotten to hit the start recording button. My new phone suggested Uninstalling this app because it keeps crashing. Why now?

Decent but needs work. The map is zoomed in way too close, hard to see upcoming turns on the map. Needs an optional zoom level. Also doesn't tell which direction upcoming turns are on custom made maps, just tells distance to next waypoint. Doesn't update if you pass or miss a waypoint, just continuously tries to reroute you back to that waypoint. Sometimes it will veer off the predetermined route for unknown reasons. I don't hate it, but I don't love it.

Cool app with a lot of cool features but there are a lot of bugs and things that could be done better to make the app more intuitive and easier to use. Instead of fixing and refining what was already there, they added more fluff to the app that one doesn't really need. All I want is an app to record my ride in an easy intuitive way, with the ability to share and find other cool rides.

I like this app for it's simplicity. It is very easy to create a custom trip or to record your ride in real-time and share them. The group creation and social feeds are also simple and straight-forward. A couple of issues I have noticed that happen regularly: 1) The app regularly deletes/drops my bike photos from the main page and I have to upload them repeatedly. 2) The GPS drops regularly even when I have good signal. Overall a good app.

The navigation on this app is so unreliable that it could end up being a dangerous distraction. Get a phone or GPS mounted instead. Unless you're cruising around a block or two, the navigation screen will soon show blank squares, instead of streets. Voice navigation sometimes works, sometimes doesn't say anything. And good luck if you miss your turn because the rerouting tech is barely better than a paper map! HD should be embarrassed, as this app is far surpassed by literally all others.
