Although it says that it is compatible with S10+, it does not work. After installing and opening, it "checks availability" and then says that it is "coming soon". At the bottom of the app information, it shows a copyright year of 2015 and shows compatibility with S6. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 10 times at least. But it seems the current version that uploads to my phone is outdated. Please fix this. I have no idea why I can't use Samsung Pay. Please help!!!

I wish I could rely on this app, more. It's pretty great for all uses, mostly works well. My biggest complaint is that there's no way to reset your PIN if you forget it. (The PIN reset setting asks you for your PIN, as does the reset app setting) So the only way to reset is by entering your PIN incorrectly 20 times so the app resets itself. This has happened twice, now. I primarily use fingerprint and it just stopped working one day so I couldn't buy lunch, really annoying.

Easy to use, very convenient. Can add multiple cards for payment options. A lot more stores are now accepting samsung pay. Changes the buying experience. I think the "chance to win" feature is rigged, the wheel ALWAYS lands on the SAME exact spot. Just a way to make you use up your points, and possibly force you to buy more. I simply use the app for the ease of paying and nothing more.

Was the best app on my phone for a long time. Used it every day for 90% of my transactions. Had literally zero complaints. Now they require a "secure" lock screen to pay with your fingerprint. Dumb to require me to enter it twice for paying when it was a quick swipe, and one fingerprint read before. The app itself was secured with my print, why would the phone also need to be locked? It was super convenient, but now is totally useless.

It constantly bugs out the phone, making it impossible to do anything. It's horrible!! I don't touch it, & it'll randomly start itself, then make noises like when typing + quick screen flashes that interrupt whatever you're doing. Only way to solve is by force stopping the app, but it can't be disabled, so it always happens again. Hoping this stays removed!!! Ugh!

It's a really good and dependable tool. When it first came out, you could accrue as many rewards points as possible but now, they require you to use a lump sum of points per month or lose them. This makes it very difficult to accrue enough points to purchase something worthwhile. Although this tool is convenient, it's not as attractive to use as before that's why I reduced its rating.

The app has a bug. I added three Chase cards, which I used in Samsung Pay for over a year. Then the app suddenly lost the cards from the wallet. When I try to re-add them, I get a failure every time, though newer cards (which I don't intend to use) work just fine. I've reinstalled the app and tried everything short of resetting my phone to factory defaults. Samung support was predictably worthless.

Update combined samsung pass & wallet, now it says I can't access my passwords. Huh, it's almost like a payment system that has to be updated frequently for security purposes doesn't go well with something you might need while not connected to a network. These things don't go well together, and if it isn't fixed or re-split, I'll probably find some functional app to use instead. Also, for some reason, the developer contact email is a no reply email. What a joke

Works well at most places. Also work great for countering getting your card stolen. As the the credit card machines have been upgraded more recently, it is working at more places. The annoying thing is the reward points that you earn expires after a year. At this point, the only thing you can do is use it at the samsung store or app store, which is not all that useful. Since they expire, you can't save up. The chance games seem to have no chance of winning. They might as well just get rid of the rewards if they are trying to make it so hard to use.

UPDATE 6/4/21 - swipe up tab is no longer working. I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled with no effect. Please fix. 8/2016 Very convenient and seems to work everywhere. When I first started using it, had some rejects that the cashier said was because I had to use my chip, not scan. But I think it was (my) user error in not knowing where to hold the phone in relation to the scanner.

Quite nice. Works at places where Android or Apple pay for not. The Samsung rewards points are a nice bonus. Reducing my rating due to the fact that you seem to think it's a good idea to pop up an ad/announcement when using quick access. Those would be acceptable if I was opening the full app, but if I'm using quick access, I expect quick access to my payment options, not to have to click out of an ad before I can pay for my purchase.

7/27/22: The functionality of this app has steadily declined to the point where it is no longer usable. It literally will not open on my Note 20 Ultra because it is "unable to connect." Changing the rating to 2 stars with the hope that it will improve in the future. In 2016 I gave it 5 stars and wrote: Works perfectly at ALL merchants regardless of what credit card equipment they have.

The app is fine, but on occasion all cards randomly disappear. Also just learned points now expire a year from earning them. This is nowhere to be found in the "helpful" FAQ section. I stumbled across this when I pressed the reward icon in the app. Pretty tacky when you're earning a paltry 3 points per transaction unless you're buying tons of gift cards. Now it's a useless rewards program! I won't use anymore because the rewards suck, now you can't track my purchases Samsung. You lose!!

If I could give a lower score I would. Tried to do PIN, and finger print and the same screen kept reloading. No path forward, and after a few repeated attempts, I couldn't even go to the previous screens without backing out of the app entirely. Double checked my app was up to date, and it was. Maybe if it gets fixed I'll try again, but until then I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

STOP with the annoying intrusive ads. One would think that after canceling the same ad eight times. I don't want to see it again. No, I'm not planning to purchase the latest shiny object. I use thi app for one purpose and it is not as a platform for ads. You are nearing that friction point where I would rather use cash. You already get enough of my personal information. Your app development lacks regression testing. The same errors keep reappearing.

Works super good with credit/debit cards. Works mostly everywhere. I use membership/rewards cards too. There could be some improvements made to simplify how you can enter cards. What if you lost your membership card or never had a physical one... you cant can't just scan in a barcode. It basically then becomes a spot to store which telephone number you used.... Which is not really the point. Minus a star for ads placed in the middle of a checkout transaction. It's supposed to be convenient no??

Great App. So glad I don't need to pull out my credit cards anymore. Easy and quick to use! Today (4/4/21) I have to deduct one star. It is of course still a super app, however, earlier in the year there were 3 weeks where the app no longer worked. When I wanted to pay, the selected card twirled, an error message appeared and the app shut down. Support gave me laborious and tedious (copy & paste) recommendations on how to fix it. Nothing worked! Only a complete un-install and re-install worked.

Samsung Pay requires too many hoops to jump through to get set up. Then it won't even work, "Oops, something went wrong". All The Time. Since you can't fully uninstall, it is bloatware. This app makes itself to run all the time, draining your battery. You have to force close the app to get the slider at the bottom of your screen to go away, but it will start itself up again-without permission. Samsung Pay demands it be the default payment app, or it will not let you access the app, at all.

Horrible. Worked for about 1 week, then started to decline every charge. I called AMEX and they said your card is fine. And, ironically this issue started at the exact moment, just before, I was trying to pay multiple sources for an emergency sugery. Later downloaded Google Wallet and has worked fine for last 2 months. Though you can have good credit and a high limit $50,000 with AMEX, Samsung Wallet gives you less than $1,000 credit limit. App is Junk.

I'm really good with technology and I cannot get this app to work properly. I try to add a card manually and fayer I put all the information down, it takes me to permission for location or whatever and I cannot go pass that screen. I change to all the different choices and there is nothing to click on to move on. Imma try Google wallet and see how that goes.
