Although it has improved so much than before but this app or site of IRCTC is not heavy duty. Today we were using this app in three phones and one laptop then also this app closed in two phones at time of tatkal booking, because of which we will not get our desired train. I suggest to improve app, so that at time of tatkal booking it don't get stuck or closed. Thank you

Worst app I attempted to book a Tatkal ticket, but encountered several frustrating issues. Firstly, the login page was unresponsive, requiring multiple attempts to access. Once logged in, I faced further challenges as booking was initially not allowed despite the booking period being open. This experience was incredibly frustrating and reflects poorly on the apps. Humble request to IRCTC TEAM please hire a good developer and provide some relief to booking for TQ quota .

Utterly Frustrating Experience. This app is incredibly frustrating. Even when I enter the correct username and password, it consistently shows an "invalid" error. The password recovery option is useless—despite resetting my password through IRCTC, the new password doesn't work either.

The app keeps crashing and says unable to connect to the server. Even after installing all the updates. This is usually the case with every second attempt. And what's wrong with passengers name option. It is not allowing me to input any name longer than 16 characters.

Useless app. After making the payment and going back to irctc app it gets logged out and when you login you would not find the booking. The payment gets stuck and refund comes after 2-3 days. This has happened with 4-5 bookings of mine now. If you want to book ticket urgently, better go with agent rather than trying self as I feel this is their modus operandi. Don't allow normal citizens to book and get the commision from agents. The most useless government app.

This railway app is an absolute disaster! It's like they designed it in the Stone Age and forgot to update it since. The interface is clunky and outdated, reminiscent of early 2000s websites. Trying to find train schedules or book tickets is like navigating a labyrinth of confusion. And don't even get me started on the frequent crashes and error messages that pop up every time you try to do anything. Save yourself the headache and stick to carrier pigeons for communication. Worst app ever

Some recent update introduced too many advertisements causing app to work too slow. Response time per touch is about 4 to 5 seconds, causing unwanted touch on adds, which opens corresponding website on browser. This happens all day, no specific time. This issue is causing huge disadvantage during tatkal booking timings.

It's a huge pain to use this app during tatkal window. It keeps loading after selecting class and gets moved to login screen and it makes sure, by the time you able to proceed, the seats are always in waiting . Nothing improved on the efficiency of performance during critical windows . Load test fail and agony of common citizen continues

Pathetic application... Controlled by ticket Mafia... Not able to book tatkal ticket for three consecutive days from personal I'd. Application logs you out, just after opening booking time; a pop message appears - 'unable to process request' and log out. Even if you login again, the message keeps on appearing and application keeps on logging out you until there is Waiting List visible on screen.

The most important time this app would be used is during tatkaal booking. This app does not work during that time. It either shows an internal error or some other error and pushes the user out of the app. During that time, if you try to visit the website and book, it will let you go till selection of train and sometimes even further and then will simply kick you out of the website as well before you make a payment.

I tried to cancel my confirmed ticket for 3 days but it kept on throwing errors on the app and the website. On the day of travel it finally got cancelled only a few hours before the departure of the train. I got no refund as per policy. It feels like a scam to me. It only got cancelled on the day of departure so that no refund is initiated. Cheap move if it was not an error. The app crashes most of the time during peak times. Payment gets stuck or fails. I'll never be booking from irctc again.

Very bad experience. Trying to book a ticket from last 3 days, but it keeps saying "user is disabled". Contacted customer service also but there is no response at all. It just a waste of time. Customer helpline service is also very bad. Without any reason they disabled my ID. I've sent multiple mails and also spoke to the representative, in the end all efforts have become useless.

Too many ads. Ads pop up when you are in the middle of a transaction. Very very annoying and irritating. Doesn't look like a govt app. IRCTC should focus on basic features ie to facilitate train tickets booking. Remove all ads. If you look at all the negative ratings of this App, 90 % complaints mention problems due to Bogus Ads popping up. IRCTC needs to take corrective measures ASAP. But it is USELESS to expect any action on banning the Ads by IRCTC. This is for certain.

Please keep some good designers enginners to do the work efficiently and speedily. Your app stops working at peak hours and it gets difficult to navigate easily and exercise options such as reboot/reschedule. Moreover, when exercising options of looking at details of multiple trains and coaches, the app shows error. Latest irctc update does no good. Updated versions are no good, just showbiz. It's only good for people who schedule their travels at least 3 months prior.

Google is there anyway i could give this a negative star i really need it.This is the worst sevice i have ever got. It's so slow, that we have the time to book a train ticket at the station and come back before ever the app itself. And you are claiming to have the fast service, bad advertising and bad service. It takes a lot of personal data even more than taking by a aeroplane.

It is a good application, but it lacks during tatkal booking. Whenever tatkal ticket booking starts, it takes a long time to fetch, but when it's done, the next problem is that it shows some available seats, but when you complete all the details after that, when you review the journey, it shows that there is a there is a waiting list or that it's not available.

While booking a tatkal ticket, the app used to be very good, but recently from the last two weeks, while booking tatkal ticket, first I get the error message "Unable to process the request" next it gets logged out. We get the same thing again and again. It's very frustrating experience! as we would be having many dependent plans based on the ticket. Please fix the issue at the earliest.
