I was using this app for 5 years and I'm going to stop now and find some other. App is decent all until you get in real problems with scam places (hotels) like I did in Istanbul, but Booking is also getting money from them so you will never get your money back, even after sending tens of emails to Customer Service with evidence and calls to their support where you are going to lose more money on calls than "gift" which Booking will give you. Also ratings on Booking app is far from true picture..

Finally downloaded the app and wish I hadn't. The property cancelled our reservation because we didn't make a deposit, even though it was clearly stated that we didn't have to pay until check-in. Unfortunately, although they had my phone # and email, they messaged me through the app and I didn't receive a notification. But thanks for telling me my reso was cancelled via email 🙄 Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of my time.

Update: I've installed the new version 44.5 and the messaging function is working again. However, this app still deserves 1 star due to the poor testing done and pushing out an app to production with such a serious problem that lasted for almost my entire trip! --- Previous review: The app messaging function is problematic. I had to uninstall the app in order to message the hotel. Please fix this. I've tried reinstalling the app multiple times but it doesn't fix the problem.

I don't know what you made to the new version but is not working as before anymore, seems to be full of bugs. I'm searching for specific rooms with specific filters, the search result is with one price, when I want to select the room it's another price, not even close to the one from the search. Please revert the changes and let us use the old version of the application. Thanks.

When my phone/Internet worked properly the app was straightforward and simple to use. I booked the wrong dates, I put the booking one day earlier than we planned and got worked up about it thinking of arrangements we had to then work around, I couldn't get the app to work for me (I'm not very good with computers) and the next day tried again and it was so easy. The property we booked is going to be a regular place as it's close to our relatives. So here's to many more visits. Regards Mick

Have used the app for many years for apartments ect. First time I tried booking a flight and it was terrible, after hours of having successfuly paid I received a mail that said it was cancelled with no specific reason why. Refund will take 3-5 days and the support had nothing to offer. I ended up booking the same flights same seats directly from the airline sites for the same price. Make your self a favor and avoid this abomination for flying!!!

Ever since last update, booking assistant no longer works. Please fix. 6-2023, latest update sucks for setting a price range. No option to search past bookings by date. How is that even possible?!? My most recent bookings are nowhere to be found now and app overall is just buggy. It seems like you guys are going backwards with these so called "updates." 🙄 No "pre-payment needed" means cash only! I pay by credit card, so, if you can't be more transparent and offer me that option, I avoid you!

The messages you have exchanged with the booked property/hotel vanish without trace, and new ones can't even be sent. From Google, looks to be an intermittent problem existing for months already, present both on the app as well as on the website. Won't give a single star more for this.

It won't let me login to my account via the app. I can login fine on the website but when I try on the app with the exact same details it says incorrect password and locks my account. This issue has been happening for months and it still isn't fixed.

We never had any issues with booking and their app before but seems like the quality of service have dropped a lot. This app is useless in terms of immediate support and contact when you are in need. Booking didn't help or supported us during our last stay, we wasted 2 hrs on phone begging for help and they hand up on us leaving us at midnight in a city we visited. Got email saying they will reply in 24 hrs. Booking ruined our stay and offered 15 euro compensation. No response for emails since.

it used to be great, but it seems to want to con you now. several times I've seen a good price, then changed the date, and only seconds later gone back to the original date and the price has gone up by 10%. I thought I was imagining it, but I took screenshots last time to confirm it. happens too often and too much inconsistency in prices between different screens in the booking process. also no longer the cheapest offers on the internet.

I have been attempting to book through both the website and Android app but it is not working despite trying multiple devices, browsers, apps, and credit cards. I have tried to contact customer service through the sites messaging feature and have received nothing but cut and paste form responses with troubleshooting tips I have already explained I tried and did not work. They also sent an email with a number to call. I called that number and the automated system would not let me proceed

For flight bookings I give this a 1( I would give less if I could) For accommodation bookings I give this a 4 The app works fine. For that it's a 5 Booking does not honour refunds or cancellations. They only redirect you to the next window despite being the agency that actually takes your money. If they take your money, then surely they hold some liability or responsibility to at least assist you in getting your refunds instead of sending you to a pit where you either give up or lose your mind

Hard to get assistance with flight bookings. Once booked then the customer support for any date changes or cancellations request is very difficult to reach. Also, if with any luck u r able to get the task done, then changes won't be reflected in the app. Big concern in case of flight booking and managing it

Completely nonfunctional. Every time I tried to sign in, I would input the correct password, and it immediately blocked the account, so I had to go to my email to get a link to change the password. Didn't accept the password, blocked again, repeat. I'm Uninstalling the app.

Fraud. Contacted customer service multiple times with no results. The app is part of the problem. Merchants tell me the app cancellation is not sufficient, and don't receive messages. Currently lost thousands of dollars, don't be fooled by no cancellation fee. Money taken within 30 mins of one booking.

They've set up the app to scam people each time they look for a place. The app automatically changes the searched dates by the user and the user has to change the dates on booking page even after selecting the desired date in the search box!!. It's crazy how this app is scamming people.

Messages sent to the hotel are not showing so this is so confusing You don't know if they're delivered or not. This is my first experience and I'm not enjoying it. No value provided to me. You could just call the hotel or use other available options like Airbnb. Software company focusing on upsells through car rentals and overpriced bus tickets instead of user experience and serving the customer. If I was you I would change extra $5 and hire support team instead of this mess.

Great if you want to be up until 3 AM with customer support, trying to cancel a booking they failed to send to the hotel. Excellent if you want to book a room that isn't actually available, be told by the hotel that you need to cancel through the app, then have the app say you need to contact the hotel. Terrible for everyone else. Just book directly and enjoy a good night's sleep.

I'm very disappointed as a supposed VIP Level 3 customer. Calls disconnect multiple times and are frustrating with the robot. No one calls back after I speak to a person and go on hold- and the call drops... Also, prices are not often better than competitors in regions I've looked. I've used this app a lot but I'm rethinking another option. Especially if my issue is not resolved and I don't feel valued at all.
