So far so good. I just had it installed just now. I will leave a detailed review later. Install was less than an hour. Managing settings is incredibly easy so far.

This is my favorite tech because I have never had a problem? How can that be?

Terrible billing interface, no way to see when payments are scheduled to be drafted

The app is OK and mostly gets the job done. For some reason it keeps giving me an error whenever I try to remotely restart my router. Even when it says everything it okay.

App crashes, I can't view my account. Just spins and then tells me the server can't load... Do better Google...

I upgraded my phone from iphone to the s24 Ultra and ever since I upgraded I have not been able to sign it to the app. It just loads and doesn't do anything. My iPhone did however let me sign in just fine. I need help with this situation cause I need access to the app to manage my internet.

App seems to work as intended. Love using it to verify my network status and text the speed to the router.

The fiber itself is great. The app is terrible! Over the last few months it's basically become useless. It just sits there and loads and loads forever and actually doesn't actually do anything. I have to get on my PC to check anything.

Terrible experience with this app. I have Google Fiber and none of my smart bulbs, thermostat, or any other device will work because they're 2.4 ghz. This app allows no way for any device to be connected. I may have to completely switch. Very disappointed

Since the new router does not connect to any of my third party devices and my Chromecast dongle will not stay connected either I will probably find another service other than Google.

Repeatedly (every month) says I have no Internet connection whenever I attempt to pay my bill. While I'm connected. With Google Fiber (often after checking all connections in the house & speeds, ensuring good connections).

Twice in one Weekend, my system was Offline ! I called and they stated there was a Service Interruption in my area! I'm not paying for the Area, I'm paying for my Service, and lately, in not getting any of that! I gave up AT&T, to go with Spectrum, and my current residence didn't offer either of those, so I switched to Google Fiber. Happy at first, but very disappointed with GF! I will be returning to Spectrum, and GF can take a hike! Avoid this Disconnected Company, as nobody helps you!

The service itself is awesome, I never have any issues unless our power is out. That said, this app sucks. I don't even mind that my payment comes out on a different day every month, but why can't I see what day that will be on the app? I have to wait for an email every month instead. Then, I have to go into ANOTHER Google app to manage my routers. That's four different apps I have just to run my wifi (Play, Fiber, Home, and Gmail). You got my money, Google. Quit gouging me for downloads, too.

This app has been non-functional for over 2 months, google fibers customer support line is unhelpful in solving the issues. The only ways they tell you how to troubleshoot it require internet access, which is hard when your internet is down.. I will update with a better review once I'm able to open and use the app, but until then, just be aware that if you get this service; the app will throw you into an endless loop of signing in. Also! Good luck with emailing them 🙄

Incredibly spotty and unreliable! The speeds on speed tests are incredible 600 Mbps downloads and over 100 Mbps uploads. But try playing a game of FIFA 23 on the PS5 and it will disconnect you before the games are over, or it will just be laggy to the point where it's almost impossible to play. Other streaming devices and services are also spotty. I called to the service desk and all they could tell me is that I need to have my consoles and pretty much all my tvs updated. That's a joke!!!

I've been unable to sign in the last couple months. True clearing storage and cache and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That being said, even when it works it was mediocre. You're unable to use the app if your internet is bad so to restart the router you have to physically unplug it which defeats half the point of having an app.

Using it for yrs and still works as intended, even after today's update. I've never had any issues logging in like others report. I live in KC metro. I'm surprised the app only has 2.0 rating. I feel for anyone having issues though. Sadly, canceled my Google TV thinking Spectrum was better/cheaper. Well, it was cheaper but not better or even equal. Hello YouTube TV! Google still has me ;-) Good luck all!

Did Google drop support for this app because it doesn't seem to function at all. I constantly have to sign in whenever I do anything, and half the time, I can't verify I'd done so because the confirmation methods never go through. When I finally do get in, I can't restart the Fiber box or modify my network settings because the app just sits there working harder at looking like it's working than actually doing anything at all.

App is fine I guess. But my recent Google Fiber "upgrade" wrestles yet more power away from me and makes things more convenient for Google. Before, I could conveniently manage my router from any web browser on any device I found handy. Now, I can ONLY manage advanced settings through an app. Only from my phone. I hope this somehow makes things more convenient for Google because it makes me feel less like an empowered user and more like a product.

Pros: very easy to do basic stuff like billing, monitoring and device configuration. I can log in from anywhere and see all the devices connected via WiFi. Cons: trouble ticket functionality severely degraded. App purports to submit trouble tickets via email but actually fails to do so, offers no way to check status, and doesn't include the chat option available via browser. If you have a problem, just call in. Would also like to see a port status display.
