Like another reviewer, I have noticed that the volume changes by itself and I have missed my alarms because the volume is too low. The alarm volume on my phone is separate from the other volume controls, and I never turn it down manually. It is annoying to have to check this every night before bed and I'm about to get a separate alarm clock since I feel like this can't be trusted. For all other purposes, this is a great app. I love the multiple timers.

Why hasn't Google updated this?? The option to stop the alarm with vol buttons doesn't work. (Pixel) The notifications don't always pop-up over current app.. and may not be listed in the notification panel. Multiple times I've had to kill the app to get the alarm off cause there was no other option available.. PIA!! IT'S RIDICULOUS! FIX THIS!

why changes sleep/snooze? I have my morning alarms setup in a series, in case I accidently sleep instead of snooze. rarely do I actually miss one. the last few days I've had multiple 'missed' alarms that never went off. I couldn't figure out why I only remember snoozing once or twice. coworker told me he had the same problem and noticed they switched the snooze and sleep. double checked and he's right. WHY!?!? that's muscle memory for people in the morning and a pointless, inconvenient switch.

I dread every time a new version of Android comes out because it seems Google can't resist tinkering around with the clock app yet again. The wonderful options to snooze via volume buttons/shaking the phone/flipping the phone are all gone and replaced with awful buttons that are harder to use sleepy and make it way too easy to accidentally dismiss the alarm

Works for me... But a few annoying things: - it's too easy in the morking to swipe accidentally a clock or alarm and delete it. Should be an undo, or some confirmation. - the sound for the alarm plays at proper volume off of the phone, but also off my Bluetooth speaker at that seems like half volume, and with an annoying lag. Should be able to pick where the sound comes out of.

The alarms go off but don't show up as a pop-up to turn them off. Bring back the pop-up ASAP! Also, now I get notifications 2 hours before every alarm is set to go off. "Dismiss," the alarm doesn't go off at all. Swipe, at least the alarm goes off, but good grief! I don't need reminders that I set alarms! This app is going from bad to worse!

I'm on the brink of getting fired because the alarms I set aren't going off. Even when I check the night before. Just happened for a third time. Had a backup alarm on a different app turned on and sure enough, my alarm in this app never went off. No notification of a missed alarm, and I go in to check and it's still set to go off like it should. What's the point of this app now?

If I set a timer and my phone is locked when the timer hits 0, the timer doesn't go off, my phone stays silent even if I have the volume set to max. How useless. When I delete an alarm, the bar that appears across the bottom saying "Alarm Deleted" doesn't disappear unless I force stop the app. This is annoying as this bar stays on screen no matter which part of the app I go to, and covers most of the "0", "00", and Backspace buttons on the timer page.

Having both the "Snooze" and the "Stop" buttons next to each other is fine, but why are they both BLUE?! I'm not wearing my glasses or my contacts when I sleep so when I wake up I struggle to read which button is which. I have to wake up a little more to focus my eyes enough to read the snooze button. Making those two buttons two different colors would help. Edit: this weird slider to snooze to the left or stop on the right, with much smaller text, is a little worse

The latest update seems to have broken or removed critical functionality. There is no longer an icon in the top bar showing an alarm is set. This means users now have to open the app to validate. The upcoming alarm notification is also missing. Personally I have several different alarms and need to get up at different times depending on schedule. Not having the dismiss option means I have to turn it off in order for it to not go off while I'm in a meeting and hope I remember to turn it back on.

It works, but it could be so much better. The timers are obnoxious because it's too easy to slightly slide when starting, which results in not starting. The alarm clock interface is a bit clunky. The notification that pops up when you delete an alarm lingers a bit too long and is not intuitively force removed. Also... I've noticed lately that this app uses the microphone when timers stop, so that you can say "stop". But. The app does not have microphone permissions..

Great app, however there is one flaw that I can not overlook. On occasion the alarm volume seems to adjust (this seems to be a separate volume slider entirely), oftentimes going to a very low volume, so it requires constant adjustment before use. After that adjustment though, the app works great. If there were a way to lock the volume of the alarm so that it did not change per unnoticed user error or some other circumstance, this could potentially fix the issue.

Today I missed an alarm for no reason at 2am. Android Logcat says alarm was canceled at 2:00:00:072. Unless I have cat like reflexes to jump out of bed to get to my phone in the middle of the room in those miliseconds, this was not user error. This is app complete garbage. Over the years I ve learned tricks to prevent user error but when the android system just randomly decides to turn off your alarm, then something is inherently wrong with android.

I thought maybe it was my phone, but it looks like others are having issues as well. I normally have my phone on vibrate with the volume set to low or off, but the alarm settings are set to vibrate when silent. After about a week or 2 of working fine and the alarm vibrating my phone, it stops vibrating, but the alarm still shows up on my phone. Then I have to restart my phone and it ends up working again for a period of time until it doesn't. However, I do like the other features that it has.

I use this app because I like the alarm sounds, and I can turn it off even on screen lock, but I need to use another alarm app just to get this one to work, because for some reason, this app won't work without the other one. I have issues with my alarms not going off, and the app telling me that all of my alarms are missed alarms, even when they clearly aren't. I hope this gets fixed, but, to be fair, sometimes I forget the alarm goes off, and sometimes it stops going off on its own.

The clock app continually defaults back to restricted access, which disables the alarms. Sometimes when I set an alarm it will let me know there is a restriction and if I can double click on that notification on time, it will take me to the place where I can select unrestricted, but it does not do that consistently and I often miss alarms. And for some reason I have a difficult time navigating back to where I can adjust this setting. Total headache and I wish it would stop.

Make the snooze button larger! There's a reason alarm clocks have snooze buttons larger than all the rest for decades... When you wake up, it's hard to read the buttons, or tell the difference between iconography with a semi-conscious brain. The larger button makes a easier to tell (or hit) in a half asleep state which button needs to be pressed. I constantly turn off my alarm accidentally because I mixed the 'snooze' and 'off' buttons up. I never did that when I used to use real alarm clocks.

I have liked most things google but I've been having many missed alarms with no sounds, even if the night before I checked for volume or changed the time. Sometimes it sounds sometimes it doesn't. I thought it was due to the "bedtime" feature but even switching that off and I'm still not getting a sound at times. Just a sign of missed alarm and I know I didn't miss them because at times I have been awake when this alarm supposedly went off.

The alarm turns itself off constantly!!! Which causes all kinds of problems!!! Really pisses me off!!!!!🤬 Crappiest alarm on a phone I've ever had. Very disappointing! My last phone's alarm would go off even if the phone was off. I really miss that alarm. Wish I knew what it was called, would definitely download. Definitely don't recommend this one! This one is 💩

Just like most applications Google has released earlier, this newest version is trash. You cannot delete multiple alarms at once so it gets cluttered, the cursor starts at the left, so you can't just type the time you want, and instead have to fudge with it first, resetting an alarm is almost harder than making a new one... it's just over engineered stupidity on full display. Google has failed at everything except being disappointing lately, which they now do very well.
