Support is nonexistent. You get a form email back saying I'm busy. Go away. 20% of the time the images is not saved correctly on my Nexus 6. Opening the app in portrait mode and then turn to landscape loses the shutter button most of the time. Zoom should not be enable when shooting in RAW. Only positive is that the app allows me to shoot in RAW.

On Mi 9 T camera it crashes more often than works, giving me the "can't connect to camera" error. I've tried clearing cache- I tried clearing memory- I've tried uninstalling restarting. It only limits jpegs to a small amount. If you try to use the full jpeg resolution of your camera and not the both Jpeg & RAW the app crashes! They need to fix this!

Great features but lens selection doesn't seem to work on Pixel 6 Pro. Switching to 0.7 26mm doesn't do anything and I'm not really sure if it's actually switching to the 3 lenses on the phone or just zooming on the main 24mm camera. The P6P has an 11mm, 26mm and 104mm cameras, but ProShot shows 16, 24 and 104 respectively. Edit: 4 to 5 stars. Developer says that dng format on the Pixel 6 Pro breaks lens selection. Works as expected when set to jpg only.

Not working on my s20 ultra... I was excited about many controls but all the exciting ones are disabled, the slow-mo (1080p) maxes out at 160fps and/or crashes the camera. This app is needlessly over complicated and the photos it takes are nowhere near as good as the ones taken on the native app. Needless to say that because it's so limited on controls and options it makes for a worse app than the native camera app on my phone. Sorry but it's true, I tested it for a few hours...

Your ProShot evaluator app shows all the features my phone support. However ProShot will not let me use any of these features. Video doesn't work at all. This is a terrible app, especially when there are so many apps of this type that actually works. The developer responded a year after my comments. Don't waste your time (the developer sure didn't). Of course my version was a year old, that's when I left the feedback.

Absolutely BAD; this is the paid for version that I got on sale... Which is great because it doesn't work that well with my phone. Shutter time won't go past 1/8th of a second, and I have a S21 Ultra; the app also randomly crashes while going from portrait to landscape mode. Having a "pro" camera that doesn't do anything pro is a major letdown... was going to use this to shoot raw, but with the other shortcomings, I'll stick to Samsung's Default Camera.

Definitely not an expert at photography, but I can say that this is a good alternative to expensive cameras! Although, I would suggest adding some sort of guide feature to the app for those like me who sometimes forget certain aspects of things. (EDIT: Now that I know about the guide actually in the app, I'll definitely be sure to use it!)

I bought this app for the primary purpose of being able to set the custom folder to save to the SD card. Every time I try it, on two different phones (a Samsung galaxy S9 and S7) I get an error message. I can't find a way around this. Will try to contact support and will update review if they can help me resolve. Meanwhile, total bummer. Thankfully I was able get a refund through the Google Play store, but would rather have the app working as intended.

App was working fine before new update. I'm using Pixel 7 Pro and after new updates ( 2 to be exact), app takes pictures, apparently on full resolution, but when you zoom in at a 100% photo looks kinda blurry and almost jagged, It doesn't take pictures with good details anymore. I uninstalled and installed again but this doesn't solve the problem.

The App Freezes Everytime I Try And Use One Of The Custom Settings (Pixel 7 Pro) I made a custom setting for my studio so I don't have to go in manually set the settings every time. But every time I try and load a custom setting, the app freezes the image freezes on the screen and I can do nothing. All I can end up is killing the app and reopening it but that doesn't really matter because when I try and go back into the custom settings the same thing happens.

Needed a new video recording app. Demo worked well on my phone so I bought Proshot. I like 24 fps so I set my video to that - and the viewfinder froze when I hit record. Couldn't see what was recording. Developer got back to me in a day, helped me troubleshoot, figured out 30 and 60 fps will work. Not exactly what I want, but controls are good. Demo app should let you take a, few photos.

I recently had to get a new phone and now the app only works as a camera and for slow motion video. I can't take a regular speed video at all with it. It also doesn't account for all the lenses on this phone. I can only use the main lens, not the wide angle at all. There's just no option to switch at all. This is severely disappointing as I am used to this app interface and was hoping to continue using it but, I don't think I can since it's now only 1/2 functional.

App seems to work OK as a camera. However, it refuses to save photos to my SD card, instead only saving to the internal phone memory. It's really a pain in the backside to have to constantly find the new images and move them to the SD card manually. The app provides an unhelpful error message then doesn't save the photo unless I select internal storage.(Fixed!)

One of the BEST apps for Android on the market. We are using it on our Tripltek 8 Pro that has 21 Mp camera. Tried so many different apps and the quality of the photos/videos was simply sub-par. Once we paid and installed this app - it's absolutely a joy to use our tablet to take high-quality pictures and videos. Navigation is very simple and straight-forward. Support is AMAZING! We had an issue - they helped us to resolve it quickly! RECOMMEND! A+

Update: I m moved up to a Pixel 4XL. App no longer seems to work. Downgrading to one star from two. Not sure this even in development or updates anymore. I have a Nexus 6p , sometimes the photos are taken upside down and I need to use a second party software to rotate them. I have not found a setting to allow it to rotate whatever way the phone is directed. I am the pro version and looking for an update to this thank you.

Pretty decent. When it works... Bought this for my pixel 5a so could have control of my shutter speed. Which, it does - along with a bunch of other cool features. But unfortunately as I'm using it, the app will become slow and unstable to the point where eventually just becomes unresponsive and locks on a black screen. It also will have trouble switching between the 1x and .6x lenses. And annoyingly will often not retain user settings if the phone locks...

Thanks for your reply, yes... I found the way to activate the Focus Assist, is good to have that for objects that are far away. About the flash, on Note 10 Plus is now actually working, but you need to switch from one lens or camera to the other, but then works fine. This update I like it, and appreciate you are updating the app. I really like the layout, easy to navigate the options.

I think this is an excellent app with great potential! With my limited time of use so far, on Pixel 7 pro, I noticed that the image was not saved correctly. It seems like the saved image is in preview quality, but the file size is large (normal). When you zoom in, no details. There must be something wrong with saving. Updates: the issue mentioned earlier I believe was due to the app used the ultra wide camera for other focal lengths by using digital zoom (without actually switching the camera)

I bought this thinking it would be an upgrade from the Pixel Pro's default Camera App. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. The zoom feature doesn't switch cameras properly, leading to grainy and low-quality images. I had expected it to at least match the native app's quality. The lack of a proper demo trial should have been a red flag.

The app does as it says and the UI is pretty good, although sometimes confusing. Main reason for 3 stars is that zooming has turned out to be extremely frustrating. I'm not sure why but pinching with one hand to zoom in and out it will simply not work, and even if I use both hands, it's hit and miss. I don't have these issues with the core Pixel Cam app. I purchased this trying to get a better option; in some ways it is, but the frustration I feel every time I use it isn't worth the price
