I love this app! One hour you know how to use this app. I've had never had so much fun! Your pics, pics of friends, celebrities, Facebook, any face you want. It's awesome! Try this out. I guarantee once you download it you're not going to get rid of it! Hair color, hairstyles, smoothing your complexion, photo aging progressions from young to old, beards, mustaches, goatee, ( facial hair features works on female images) tattoos, background scenery all in app. No excuse for a bad pic ever again!

Just got it one minute ago and so far it is awesome. Upgraded and got the Pro version though. 1/15/24 Update: for the past few weeks I thought I was just lost because I kept looking for the face morph feature. I came online to see what happened. It has been removed. If I would have know I would have canceled my subscription instead of renewing recently. Originally I gave this app five stars but today moved it down to two. I need to see if I can cancel my subscription and recoup some of my money

Update March 26 2024, I'm going to leave my star as one star. Despite the fact that the owner of the app came back with a fix, it It is a temporary fix. It does not work permanently. You have to continuously delete the app and then reinstall it along with shutting your phone off after you delete the app, turning your phone back on going into Google Play store and clearing out the cache and then reinstalling the app. You have to do this each time you use the app. This simply isn't acceptable.

Used to love this app mostly for the faceswap feature so I could create characters for my stories, blending characters together to get the offspring for those characters. Now that it's removed, it's almost completely useless to me! Very frustrated that I can't do that; it was the entire reason WHY I got this app in the bloody first place. Look, I understand wanting to focus on other areas of the app but ADD IT BACK PLEASE!? I used it ALL the time.

I have changed my rating to the lowest, when I had gotten this service it was because of the face swapping feature. I would be most happy if I could keep on receiving updates and be grandfathered in with the face swap feature. then anybody else who gets your software from here on out will not get the face swap feature but anybody who had it before X date should be allowed to keep the version they paid for.

This app used to be fun and now it's not fun anymore ever since the face merge effect was removed there is basically nothing to do as much (imo). But I can say that the other stuff can be very useful for others who want this app to edit their pictures it's a lot of varieties you can choose from and if you want to spend money on premium go ahead.

Amazing how real and accurate the hair color/hair styling tools are! Probably the best one of the photo editing apps I've tried . . . And ive tried A LOT of them! I wish they had a little more options when it comes to the makeup; as far as colors are concerned. The editing is very real looking . . . That i appreciate b/c I'm not always "ready" or feeling ready for pictures when they're taken!

Love this app! I paid for lifetime amd use it on all of my photos. I like that you can add any background you want and even reposition the background. There is a slight glitch in the background editing sometimes where part of the background has a strange blurred line. It would be nice to be able to adjust your image size within the background or if the face recognition is wrong perhaps a way to manually adjust where facial features are supposed to be.

This app used to be 5 star. Now, every day I log on there is some cherished feature missing. Face swap, Retouch, adjusting foreground and background separately, 3D backgrounds, shrinking variety in filters. The quality of the adjustments also seems to be degraded. They no longer look as realistic as they once did. There are also a lot of basic things that should be here that aren't... Eye color, beard color, fade adjustments/transparency. It feels like they lost critical devs.

I used to use this app a lot more, but a lot of the features I used it for have been removed. Feats like Face swap/merging, Retouch, foreground & background adjustments, & background removal are gone. A lot of filters were also taken off. The quality of the editing seems to have degraded, too. They look less realistic than they did before. I'm not sure if that's caused by the updates in the software used to make the app or if the people who work on it don't care as much they did before.

Since I upgraded my favorite feature is gone. I forgot what it was called but it allowed you to morph two peoples faces together to see what their children might look like. This was a very fun feature and I don't understand why they decided to get rid of it. Trying on hairstyles and makeup is still fun, but the app was more fun before they removed the old features.

I'm giving it two stars currently because it has been really valuable in making some of my not so flattering photos look a little better. However, I am sad to see that the face swap option is gone. I've yet to find another app that produces better results than what I got from this app and I had a lot of fun playing with that tool...

I'm leaving a 2 star because so many features were removed, especially with the face swap feature. It was initially stated that "it was removed because it was buggy" but now after reading reviews it's because it didn't line with how they view the app. Or the race swap feature. It's really sad that it's downgraded this much so I'm going to use other software where I can do that. Lost a loyal user because of these changes.

Face swap is gone which I really don't understand. It was the main reason I used this app and probably won't be resubscring to Pro again. It was literally the best feature in the app and no other app could live up to it. If you have that sort of technology, why deprive people of it? Because you want your software to be a photo editing software? I'm sorry, but I don't use faceapp for photo editing. I use Picsart for that. It seems like the developers have lost touch with their user base.

It's near-perfect, but needs to add an automatic eye color changer that brightens eyes too, and an automatic tool to fix body skin (arms, legs, etc) so it matches the face and looks smooth. Hopefully they'll also keep working on making it all look as realistic as possible. I would also love it to upsample so I can save as high resolution.

RE: devs: I couldn't see your response, but based on the other responses I've seen, it was probably "We're constantly updating the app to keep features with the most value to our users". BS, because were that the case, face swap would still be present. All of the reviews lament the loss of desired features over time. Original: I used to use this for face swapping all the time. The options for swaps were the best out there. I don't understand why such a pivotal feature was removed.

Years ago I used this to play around with face swap. It was the ONLY reason I downloaded the app. I just got pregnant and I got super excited to use the feature with my husband and I. Immediately uninstalled because they got rid of the feature. I don't understand it, when so many would people download this app just to play around with that. Especially because it was the only app that did it for free. I get that they want you to edit, but so many other apps do it better.Bad on them ig. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
