They provide necessary video watching activities ,but their ads and shows always interupt the show,movie or whatever I wish to see . whenever I open it I got to see their ads to watch one video after that video another ad plots up just a unnecessary things for a good app to provide it's like mocking the users .

One of the worst player, it deserve zero stars because 10% of movies etc are not audio supporting, sudden back to home screen, fullll of adzzz if you just turn on data it will catch adzz and sudden back to home in mean while of watching a movie, it is a frustrating ap kindly fix this damnn bugggs in. The next update please

Ads Quantity has been increased by 300% last night i watched 1 hour 2 minutes movie and i literally had to watch 11 12 Ads. whenever you multitask you have to watch another ad also mx player is not working properly on my Poco x6 pro it is constantly Lagging ( Freezing ) and Audio is also Cutting off. i have been using Mx player since launch i can't believe it i have to Delete this app after a very long time

There seems to be an underhanded trick to make sure you see ads. After a while, the audio will go fuzzy, and when I grab my phone to look an ad will play. It's happened often enough and on enough separate files that it made me want to confirm the files and headphones are not the issue. It is the player, and the correlation with an ad playing when I grab my phone seems deeply suspect

The ad experience is horrible. There is not a button you press that doesn't load an ad, what's worse is that they're never ads that give you the option of cancelling them, you're forced to watch the entire ad. And even when you're not pressing a button, ads keep popping up on the menu and rearranging all of your folders, such that when you intend to click a folder, it could get rearranged immediately and make you click another. Fix this! Limit the ads and give users a choice!

Not good anymore. Used to be the best player but nowadays it's horrible. Too many ads. If you pause a video and play you have to watch an add first. Recently the app doesn't launch. I have to keep on uninstalling and installing to get it too launch. And then it will play for a few minutes then it randomly shuts and I have to launch the app again. Definitely uninstalling it

Great app, but the jump shortcut is a little inconvenient You have to double tap for every jump, which isn't that bad at first, but gets tiring after a while (especially when the video is too long for dragging the seek bar to be a viable option) I personally would like it if it works like Youtube where once you double tap to jump, every single tap afterwards also jumps until you leave it long enough so you have to double tap to jump again

When you guys started out, you were really good. The app and it's features are still top notch however ads are beginning to become ridiculous. I go backwards from a video I get a one minute ad, I pause another ad. I'm not gonna ask you to fix it, you can keep making worse until people stop using the app. The app is slowly going downhill

Amounts of add only for using your app to watch videos, not even seeing your contents, are frustrating. The adds do not close after completing ultimately opening other page. Just frustrating to use this app. I have no problem with your adds. However, please show your adds and then stop your adds as normal channels do. Your adds get stuck until your app is closed and restarted. Secondly I don't wish to subscribe just for watching videos which are not your contents.

too many unneeded features crammed into the user interface. at least make it so that you can set it up at the start so the "features" you want is the only thing you see and not crowd the space with "features" you'll never use. banner ads are fine, but the one in videos suck. it works when you need it but with unnecessary features making it feel too crowded

App doesn't start, logo and white screen only. It's been about a week that I can't use MX player normally. I can still launch video from a File Explorer, but I cannot launch the app. Rather, when I click it, I am greeted by the blue logo of MX player and a white background covering the whole screen. The app never hangs, never triggers a warning from Android, doesn't stop and doesn't go past the White screen. It's just... stuck. What have you done? It was perfect. Now I'm considering alternativ

Mx player has always been my number media player choice but for the past few months, it has been hell. I play a movie and it randomly closes after a few minutes, and I don't mean the app closes, I mean it goes back to the folder I'm playing from. I try to play the video again and it can go back after playing for less than a minute. I'm really tired of this, I might be the first with this kind of issue cos all I've been seeing on Google is related to 'crashing' and it isn't crashing.

I'm extremely disappointed with the latest version of MX Player. While watching videos, the app randomly exits and takes me back to the home screen! This happens every 5-10 minutes, without any warning or error message. I'll be in the middle of a movie or TV show, and suddenly I'm kicked out of the app and back to my phone's home screen. It's incredibly frustrating π.

I've always been a die-hard fan of Mx player since my first android back in 2010. I loved all the updates. But now I'm using a samsung s20plus, and honestly, there are a lot of bugs. Firstly, while playing audio, after a while, it auto changes track a lot. Secondly, while watching a video, it will suddenly switch to the mini view, which i don't fancy at all. These all started recently after the last update. I have reinstalled the app to no avail. Please do fix these bugs on time. Thanks

It's been more than 12 incredible years i have been using this app to watch videos. In 2013, when i just started watching movies on my phone, i would love this app because of the substitles. And the graphics, OMG, i can't compare with none. Thank you, MX Player App Team. You gave us the best experience while watching movies and series.......

I would have given it 5 stars a year ago, but the app has become way too annoying. I even stopped using it. When it was just banner ads, I could stand it, but with the video ads, it's way too much. What kind of video player has video ads. There's always an ad when I exit a video. Please, just remove the video ads when exiting a video, it's way too much.

My go to video player on android for years, but recently it just closes video randomly and goes back to folder view. It won't even remember position of the video when it does that. Cleared cache. Re-installed. Checked a bunch of settings. No luck. Today it even did the same thing of just going back to folder view when I was in the settings. The app is not crashing, just closing whatever I was doing and going back to the folder view. WTH.

This is one of, if not the most useful media player I have found. However, every time the program is started it copies data from the device's clipboard. An insidious method of collecting data. User Names? Copied. Passwords? Copied. Phone Numbers? Copied. Private Images? Copied. Copy something useless or clear the clipboard before starting this program. I would give it four stars except the data theft thing.

The interface, features and functions are very well made. The only problem with this player is that it lags or it is choppy when playing mkv with 10bit encoding. Watching animes in this player is tolerable, but seeing that my HTC One X+ should play those files with less effort is kind of a dissapppointment. 04/22/2024 After not using it for a long time, i tried it again, it suddenly installed pandora app without my concent. I was clicking back nd exit on the ad in which it did not let me do.

This is *the* best player out there, with one *very* annoying exception. It cannot play the the audio of video files encoded in AC3. And since video files that are audio encoded in AC3 have been becoming more and more common lately, I am forced to use this app less and less and instead use inferior players I am forced to tolerate because at least I can hear the video files with them. Get your act together already, MX Player.
