20240421 abhorrent—installed on new phone...problem from 2022 persists. I will attempt to find an old apk...or, alternately, install an alternate torrent client. DO NOT purchase. 20221117 torrents begin strong...then fade to 0 kbps. Using a different client, torrents download like flud did long ago. moto g7

Best torrent client out there. I would love to have a feature "Stop seeding after a certain time" and "No seeding" after download. Saves bandwidth on a cellphone. Great app.

Used to work fine. Latest update screwed something up. Download speed in the 20-30KBs, at most one torrent actually downloads at a time, newly added torrents fail to connect to seeds or create files/folders. Settings are unchanged from previous version, and permissions reviewed.

Simply the best torrent app. Minimalistic with plenty of necessary options tucked away neatly and accessibly. Joy to use. Updating this review in 2024, 9 years later. All still applies. Timeless.

Excellent overall, and I'm happy with the purchase. One small issue seems to be that it forgets the status of downloaded torrents (whether they're completed or not) and you have to start the torrent again at which point it immediately completes it. This can be somewhat annoying because you can't play media directly from the app without first restarting the torrent. This seems to be an issue restricted to the pro version since I've been using the free version for years without issue.

I am experiencing a bug where when you remove a torrent it deletes the folder that the files are saved into, never experienced this on the free version. Note 4 5.1.1 otherwise great

I changed the storage location before downloading the files. It doesn't work. And Move after download option as well. What is the point of having a premium paid for it. Please address this. Nevera faced similar situation with free version

Best mobile torrenting app out there, bar none. Worth every penny of the $2 for the Pro version, my only minor complaint is that there's no easy way to migrate torrents when you switch, and that's solved by a few minutes of tedious copy/paste action. I really appreciate all the effort that the developers put in 🫡

Love it. Simple layout, all the features you really need. No bloatware. Free version has practically no ADs too. just a tiny banner at the very bottom of the screen. No video ADs, no Pop-Up ADs. Both are absolute perfection! 👍👍👍

App won't even start since it apparently can't find the default files app. Android doesn't let me set a default files app. Review will remain 1 star until the app is functional. If I can't use it you can be absolutely sure I'll be filing a charge back on my payment.

I have used the free version for years, and on my new phone, i decided to support the developer. The problem is it completely disregards the default folder i have chosen in settings and always makes me go to where i want to be from scratch, which is the root memory 10 subfolders away. Im 10 torrents in and already frustrated. 87 more to go. Edit: I contacted the developer and they emailed me back that they are going to look into it.

Had been using the free version for a couple of weeks and have had a phenomenal experience. Decided to invest in the ad-free version not because the non-intrusive ads bothered me, but because the developers thoroughly deserve the money. This app has given me 0 issues, and I have used it continuously since I downloaded it. It handles magnet links seemlessly, and the interface is beautifully simplistic. It also gives the user all the nerdy stats you could want, and you can select a download path

Consistent function and seamless integration of free version prompted purchase to eliminate ads and support development. Reasonable one-time payment offsets infrequent use. Clear UI offers sufficient settings. No information about data safety. Best to uninstall free version before installation because names and icons are identical and because settings don't transfer. Still updated but NOT supported. It's µTorrent for Windows but Flud for Android.

The best torrent app around. Long time user, tried many others, but always continue to use Flud. I am a bit uneasy about the fact that no updates since 2017. But really I have not had a single serious issue in more than 5 years using this app. Yes, the interface takes awhile to get use to, and often I still struggle to find a particular setting that I know is there, but where? :) So, hey, software developers certainly do see the world through their own eyes. Don't you?

Thank you VERY much for the addition of TWO GREAT new features: 1) The option to set Sequential Download as a default in Settings. It eliminates an otherwise VERY repetitive step. 2) The function that attempts to retrieve metadata PRIOR to adding the new download via Magnet. VERY NICE. These two new features, in and of themselves, have great impact.

After many years, I still love this app. I have a request, though. I would like the option to have all downloads paused on start-up in case I am on a metered or work network or something. That feature would also be helpful if I had moved a file from a large torrent. I could quickly uncheck that file from downloading before resuming the download.

I previously gave Flud a lower rating but since then it has improved. Very reliable and compared to other torrent linens for Android it is the best. Update January 1, 2020: This application simply is the best torrent client I have used, and I've tried many other clients. FLUD is very flexible and easy to configure, and includes a lot of really useful features that other torrent client app don't have. Highly recommended.

update: Adjusting the queue is certainly appreciated, but rather than up and down arrows, would you PLEASE impliment drag and drop reordering?? With a large queue, the up/down arrows are VERY tedious and not nearly as user friendly. original: The advertising on the free version is so small that it not even noticeable... But this app is so good at what it does that I felt compelled to spend, what equates to chump change, to support the developer.

I got a challenge for FLUD+ ... When installing FLUD+, it should migrate the files from the ad-supported FLUD. My work-around is to continue using the ad-supported version. FLUD's advertisements are very unobtrusive, so that's not a problem. And my purchase of FLUD+ helped to support the excellent project. If I were more experienced, I'd probably know how to migrate the files, myself, into the Plus version. Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a coder.

Used to like it but having connection issues with private trackers and some public ones. Just sits there never connecting. I tried reinstalling as well as a fresh phone when I upgraded. Not sure what that is about but I have been in the torrent scene since it began and haven't had this problem with any client. I am currently using a different app for torrents. Flud+ will hang and never even download the data from a magnet link, but when I use the other it will fire right up, no issues.
