An absolutely horrid app. After numerous "something went wrong" messages and a spinning logo I found that I need to uninstall and reinstall the app each time to get it to work. This is unacceptable since it's everything on board has to be done through the app. I have been unable to book any restaurant reservations or shows so it looks like I will have to do without. Called over the phone as was told to go to Sailor Services on board for assistance as no slots were available. Worse app ever.

This app is beyond infuriating to use. It takes forever to load, booking dinner reservations is impossible, booking excursions is also extremely difficult. I keep running in to the same "something went wrong error" when trying to book literally anything. To add insult to injury, you can't book anything anywhere else, you HAVE to use this app! And for no reason at all, it canceled all of the dinner reservations I managed to make

Doesn't work. Can't login despite multiple uninstalls, cleared app data and cache. Particularly appalling considering we paid for "rockstar" suites which should enable early booking at 60 days out. This was one of the selling points of the suites over regular cabins. Customer service claims app will be fixed soon (it has been two weeks). No alternatives offered to book reservations online or on the phone. Not a good first impression for a new cruise experience.

Consistently, this app is inconsistent. Error messages saying it's hit a snag and to try again, spins and spins and doesn't move forward, glitches, etc. This has been going on for a while. Is the IT Team working on it because it seems to be getting worse. This reflects poorly on the Virgin Voyages product. Since this is how sailors need to connect onboard, it really should be a priority. I would love to be able to update my review to 5 stars!!!

This app sucks!! I can't link my google account. Always "send report" but whenever i click it, it wont go through. Then resetting the pw doesnt work either. It always has the error message whenever I click the link to reset it. Once you're in your account though, it seems to work fine with booking reservations, etc.

Terrible. I am sailing today, and it's frozen! And, updating my review today as inleave for another cruise in just over a month. Cannot get into my App. Called and spoke (finally) to a live agent and was told it will take 3 days to fix. Meanwhile I can't book anything! Cannot book shows, excursions, or restaurants. Terrible. Get it sorted, guys!

Unable to update. Keep getting message that app needs updating, when I try to update it I am just taken to the Play Store page. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no success, also tried turning phone on and off, nothing. My phone meets Android requirements for the app, so it is not that. Very frustrating as unable to use app, make bookings, etc

Update. This app is absolutely horrible. I can't open the app without errors popping up. Still freezes, issues need to be fixed immediately. This takes away from the Virgin Voyages experience. The app freezes and has to be restarted. Everything else about virgin voyages is awesome, but the developers working on the app are sub par. I am a software QA analyst and the amount of time these issues have been occurring are unacceptable. Please fix this, as sailors depend on the app to check in.

Just frustrating how slow it loads. It never crashed, but clicking on something and booking appointments is so slow, I'm usually patient but using this app I was cursing the whole two hours it took me to set everything up. 2 stars because the app is beautifully designed, I really liked that, but functionality is more important here.

This app is an embarrassment as it isn't market-ready. IF I can login, the app immediately crashes within 1-2 mins. The built-in reporting mechanism is a joke as the developers disabled the "report a problem" button leaving the user the only option to exit without reporting any issues. When you're not getting the Oops page, I either can't log in at all, or I log in for a few seconds only to get a critical error message. How is this app in market? This experience totally ruined our vacation.

I'm on a Virgin cruise right now. A lot of things about the app work fine. I've been able to book shore things, dinner and brunch reservations, and shows. I can view my agenda, events on the ship, info about the eateries and shops and ship spaces, and order room service. However, I cannot view my LoveList. I've added quite a few things to it that I'm interested in but don't necessarily want to add to my agenda yet, and I can't view any of them. That's the main reason there aren't more stars.

Atrocious. As much as this cruise costs, as much as EVERYTHING on board is reliant on the app, it should be state-of-the-art. It constantly crashes or refuses to load. Ship Eats (room service) frequently says that delivery to YOUR CABIN isn't available yet (it is). Can't pre-order breakfast, even though it's only 11pm & it says it's available till 2am. Sailor Services says you can call to order instead. So, it's an app issue, not the service being unavailable. The cruise itself? Amazing. App? 👎

Recent updates fixed a lot of the bugs and once on board it works great. The lack of functionality prior to embarkation leaves it at 3 stars. Android version is effectively not functional. Cannot scroll at all in the discover area so unable to book anything. Glitchy, slow, ineffective, and detracts from the experience. I don't understand how companies continue to do these app based experiences so poorly.

The app is terrible. Glitches all the time, leave it for a moment, have to restart it. Onboard Scarlet Lady, connected to the ship WiFi on the fastest mode, I couldn't watch the REQUIRED safety video. I tried 5 times and it would continually quit. When attempting to book shows, restaurant reservations or simply view the schedule of events, the app would fault and give a message "Hmmm, something went wrong." No kidding! I give it two stars because at least it works sometimes for basic info.

This app is absolute trash. Aboard the Scarlet Lady and It's glitched and crashed so much that I don't even bother opening it on board anymore. It deletes the information you put into it, from reservations to documents to credit cards. Guest services will tell you it's something YOU did instead of taking responsibility. All 20 of us standing in line with the same problem can't be wrong! For a cruise that relies solely on this app, you'd think it would be immaculate. It needs a LOT of work.

Absolutely horrible app. Constant crashes and failed log ins. I stayed up until midnight on a work night to book airport transportation, only for the Shore Things menu to fail. Then I was logged out and can't log back in. Truly frustrating and potentially screwing up a trip I've spent thousands of dollars on.

It's a very pretty app, but has a lot of weird decisions that make the ui difficult. I'm used to being able to have all my itinerary in one place, but virgin has decided to have the island itinerary and your actual ship agenda be in two different places, so you can't have a holistic view of everything. The discover section button also doesn't work if you're already within a subsection of "discover." Also the security picture you can't wear glasses, but I need them on to take a proper picture...

The idea is great. The execution is frustrating on a good day. Only works on ship so when on an excursion you can't see or book anything. The app does not cache anything so there are often long delays when opening. Frequently hangs on opening. Many on ship report the same thing. Again a great idea with poor execution.

The app layout is fine but as a tool it is grossly underutilized when they are using it as primary means of communication. The navigation is also not overly complicated but it needs a glossary or something so you can understand what is available or an alert system for when something you want becomes available. Just a tool obviously created by people who don't use it and have not asked enough guests in its benefits and areas of concern.

** update - after using the app for 10 days now, I can confirm that it's one of the worst designed app I've ever used. Messages are not timely, reservations are a joke, finding anything on the app is almost impossible. Also be aware of multiple bar charges. Terrible layout. Looks like ux design from maybe 10 years ago and works about as well.
