Very cool app. I knew that I sometimes drove a little too fast. The app showed me that it happened far more often than I thought it did. Good to get that sort of reminder. I feel safer because of it.

I have never been able to get in this app. I go through the entire process to the security pictures and it just spits and spins. It's been over 10 minutes.

Not Compatible with low end android phones. There is no list of compatible devices. This App and the Hartford TrueLane are basically identical.

Design flaw that I found is it will record your trip even if you are not the driver. There should be a way to go into the app and set it up before you start driving. This way it does not penalize you for someone else's driving.

I don't like the fact that this application tracks my phone when I AM NOT IN MY VEHICLE AND NOT DRIVING. In fact, being stalked. If the other driver, in a vehicle that IS NOT MINE, SPEEDS OR DRIVES POORLY, IT SHOWS ON MY PROFILE . I then have to go to the app and indicate that I wasn't driving and that the vehicle wasn't mine. If this isn't done, it can lower my driving score. The phone with the drive safe app should be evaluating the AARP MEMBER, DRIVING THE INDIVIDUALS INSURED VEHICLE.

I had this app and just uninstalled it... told me the speed limit on a highway was "35" when it was "65" and said I was speeding... not totally sure if this app somehow interacts with auto insurance companies or not but if it does, and they see "INACCURATE" information, I'm not paying more on my insurance due to this

A good check on my driving. Although it doesn't know why you did a specific questionable maneuver, it can show patterns, which I use to improve my driving or grin ear to ear because I am making consistently safer choices.

It is very non intrusive and informative to look up your stats

If I am in the passenger seat using my phone (husband driving), the app rates me poor for phone use. Otherwise, ok

Overly sensitive Great concept but does a poor job of analyzing safe driving. For example I was driving the speed limit (45MPH), the light turned yellow. I did a proper controlled stop and it dinged me for Aggressive Braking. Next time I'll run the red light. From a stop sign I did a gentle start to 30 MPH and was flagged for Aggressive Acceleration. Nobody inside or outside my 20 YO truck would consider that Aggressive Acceleration. This app does not give a proper evaluation of safe driving.

The App seems pretty good BUT it is always sending me a notification that says Location Service Required .. Enable Google Location Accuracy. Well I have Precise Location Enabled at all times so what else needs to be set?!? PS: I would have sent this as a support item but no support address was provided....

App does not let you PASTE in a password, which is supposed to be long and complex. It also simply fails with web server errors (after long delay) even after you get the correct credentials in. It seems to just be a clunky and slow front end to a website, just like the Pubs app from AARP.

"Allow all the time?" I don't think so. Y'all don't need "all the time" access, "only while using the app" is more than sufficient. Seeing Cambridge anything on an app prompts me to uninstall it immediately. They already have enough of people's personal data, they don't need 24/7 access to personal movement. You can do better, AARP.

This app is not accurate by any stretch of the imagination. It reports severe or hard breaking when there isn't any. Their algorithm is definitely off after a few months of testing. Today reported two instances of heartbreaking when there wasn't any at all. I wouldn't trust this app to save my life. Uninstall today.

The app should take into account the area that you are driving in. In Florida if you stay at the speed limit on most highways, you are an obstruction. The app should also monitor driving in the left lane at are below the speed limit. That is a major cause for others to start driving irratically, and that's why it's banned in Florida, but poorly enforced.

First, it would not allow me to paste in a password, forcing me to type in manually. Big pain in the behind. Second, after entering username and password it said my email was not associated with AARP, which it is. I am not creating a separate account just for this app. Uninstalled.

This app actually makes me aware of the speeding, distracted driving, hard breaking, and fast cornering habits in my driving that I was totally unaware of. Great way to better yourself or to keep track of loved ones safe driving habits.

Far too inflexible support, means that one cannot realistically dispute garbage reporting from the not all that sophisticated AI employed. If one is forced to slam on one's brakes because a cat runs out into the road, one is penalized for tailgating. Similarly, if one's phone moves around on the seat next to one, while its screen is on, the system assumes one is using one's phone while driving. Support people just stonewall.

In general, the app has increased my awareness of my driving habits and made me a safer driver. However, I have experimented with the app and found some unrealistic results. I found that normal stopping at 35 mph for a red light in response to the warning yellow results in a penalty for excessive braking. I've found similar results for normal acceleration following a stop for a traffic light. There is no penalty for going through a red light, only for braking quickly to stop for the red light.

First day using it. Almost all instances of "speeding" were on sections of road that were not the speed they thought it was and haven't been that speed ever or for ages (it thinks a stretch of road that has been 50 mph for as long as I can remember is 30 mph, similarlyit thinks a part of the a town is 25 mph when its 30 mph and always has been). Trying to decide if it's worth keeping to see if it improves.
