The 2FA auth is annoying. To confirm with a QR Code is a good idea, but have in mind that if my smartphone was used to logon with Mercado Pago app probably this one and the WhatsApp are in the same device so where is the safety? By the way add a trusted person never was and never will be a safety way because people change mind and behavior. Sorry guys, this is not a rocket science.

It's a Great shopping app. They only HUGE downfall is you have to be careful with when looking for high end brands; most of the merchandise being sold on here are clones.

I have been shopping at ML for years and enjoyed it. It was easy to be reimbursed for an item returned. When I was given a credit, I used it to pay my next order and it was easy, the system automatically applied the credit. Now, the system requires me to take a photo of my passport then tells me it can't access my photo because of a permission issue. I was not able to correct this permission issue. I never managed to use the credit so it looks like I lost it. :(

Used to be great. Now it is appalling. I have had so many experiences recently where they have made errors and I have had to pay, or of buying what turned out to be useless junk and them not allowing me to return it, my list goes on. Now they have frozen my account with no warning and won't allow me back in (I need to return items) unless I provide the most intrusive photos, selfies, personal documents... for SHOPPING! Unbelievable!

Great products and quick delivery. But I am taking 2 stars because there is frequent Chinese knock off products like the jbl flip 6 that uses the brand and model name of original but is a fake. Actually it is illegal to do so. Another star goes because Al least half of the deliverers do not deliver at my apartment on the 4th floor and I need to come dows to steet level.

I'm disabled and live in a small town. the next town is about 25 minutes away and they want me to go to the next town for a return. why should I be the one to go out of my way for there mistake? no they should have someone pick up the item with a label printed for returns. do better mercado libre! be like Amazon even though your not. I miss Amazon but they don't have the items I need. Me voy con amazon Mejor!

The WORST sales app in the world. Now they don't show a phone number and force you to type through the app. They prohibit you from publishing most products if you are not an official store and to be an official store they are the ones who evaluate you, but if they do not allow you to sell your product you have no reputation. It's absurd and it's a scam. I expected nothing less from a Latin American app. Lousy customer service, a huge problem logging in, is constantly shutting down.

Don't use. Warning this not like ebay or Amazon. Untrustworthy. Return Purchases from foreign countries (China) are a nightmare. The international countries want to negotiate a return.. 😡 Definitely would NOT recommend if you are an expat.. This includes Mercado pago .. The return system is just awful. The communication with representatives untrustworthy. I got problems resolved with the help of my US credit card people.. This service is NOT equal to PayPal or Amazon.

I made several purchases initially with no issues whatsoever but after that my account was suspended with no customer service available to resolve the issue. They keep asking for ID but the system does not recognize it. Hence, I can no longer use the service. I was using this as well as Amazon. Sometimes the prices are better here and sometimes on Amazon. It depends on the outrageous import fees. I found an alternate means to make my last purchase with the vendor.

This did not let me in. I speak English. Seemed to want me to select a country other than my own on first step after hitting "open". United States was not an answer available to select. 🥴

Still great a marketplace, but very frustating experience while trying to post feedback on purchased products. App keeps restarting or aborting feedback editing while taking photos. Using a moto one hyper.

It is impossible for a tourist to make purchases. Identity cannot be verified in any way. Not even with passport, I mean TOTALLY nothing can help. . p.s. Dear Mercado Libre, right today I can not change my opinion about your market place. Please contact me when you can solve the problem of identity verification using documents that are used around the world, include your laws. . PPS. also you can not change a direction of delivery (oh yes, I made 3 buying before block)

Horrible customer service. There were two packages that I ordered but were never delivered. They were returned to the seller due to a problem Mercado Livre caused with my address. I called customer support multiple times, and they always passed my case to someone else. I could never log into the portal to view my case because I needed a form of Brazilian ID that I don't have yet. If you can't offer me a refund, you shouldn't have let me buy the products in the first place. I've lost over R$1000

Contacted support for a problem my girlfriend and I were having on ordering a new fridge, and they suspended her account with probable causes of violations to terms and conditions. It is upsetting that customer service personnel sucks here. We had used it before with no problem. But now, it's an issue after a while. They don't provide a phone number, nor an email address to write or contact them, just a form for you to explain and file your claim/situation.

The worst place to buy, I bought a product 3 times and both times they canceled them, they said it was not possible to find my address even though I shared my location several times, they did not even try to deliver it, I waited too long for my products, due to they promised to deliver in a date, but no, they reprogrammed to other dates and finally canceled it.

The website is very buggy. When something goes wrong there is no number to call. If everything works then fine. I ordered something and placed the delivery address. The correct address was verified on the receipt only for the system to change it to an old address when it was actually shipped. I woll think twice before ysing this site again. Unreliable!
