It's fine when it works but when it glitches it costs you $$$. It's not so great on shopping trips. Can't find an item, click you can't find it and then do find it sometimes it lets you scan it, other times it doesn't. If you need a 24 pack and all you can find is 12 packs, let me get two. I understand if the customer says no substitutions but I'm sure they'd rather have that than nothing at all. I couldn't work yesterday cuz ins expired, uploaded new, 25 hours later still can't work. Grrr

I really enjoy being a Spark driver, the flexibility and earning capabilities are perfect. The app would easily get 5 stars when your able to resolve a couple really inconvenient issues. A trip can be awarded, so my location is know then, and I begin to go directly to store, I can literally be 1 mile from pickup and the app will cancel order due to whatever criteria is within its program. You can track me so it should know, this has happened more than a few times. Other than that, love it!

Great app for gig work. One of the things that can be annoying is if your finger hits between the scan the UPC and the can't find buttons, but you have the product, you have to log all the way out and log back in to fix the problem. Also you can't substitute the same item if it comes from a different department for a replacement. For the most part it is easy to work with. I would still recommend if you're in gig work.

Edited review: it's becoming a hassle to drive for Spark. The orders are low in pay and high in mileage and/or item amount. The offers were great starting out with $10-15 base pay. However, now the base pay is $4-9. So if no one tips, taking the offer is pointless. It's become the same issue with s&d offers. First, the pay was great, and now it's worthless. Support is also unhelpful, and there are so many bugs and issues. Spark doesn't care or respect the drivers. It's not worth it anymore.

It really doesn't matter what your metrics are nor does your proximity to the store matter. My metrics are nearly perfect and have been for the last year, 5 star ratings, 100% on time delivery, 88% acceptance rate, and 0 dropped orders. I have also sat in the parking lot, connected to the store wifi for 2 to 3 hours at a time during peak times, and gotten no offers. I only gave 1 star because I do get offers sometimes, but they're low and almost not worth the trouble.

This app has major problems. Where to begin? When the app switches to the Google map during drive time, it actually changes the address by 2 or 3 numbers everytime. Taking you to the wrong house if u don't pay attention. Then when the app doesn't understand the address it takes you to a random location. Also when u get to the customers house, sometimes it will say u are at the wrong location and it won't allow you to bypass this without calling support. Also it cuts off the end of the address so

The app itself has been having trouble connecting to the internet, and I'm constantly having to troubleshoot, which makes it hard to look for batches. It's user-friendly when it's working, which is great. But, when the app is telling me to connect to the internet repeatedly over different days and I am literally streaming a YouTube podcast with no issues, and the app is the only one having issues repeatedly. Draw your own conclusions.

Easy Money! I like delivering for Spark! It's easier than some of the other apps & even if you take a shopping trip, WM has everything very organized. I only give it three stars is cuz, among other things, It asks you to verify by taking a picture right in the middle of a trip, it seems like it could be done after the trip is over, at the very least. With this latest update the notifications are ridiculous. Way too many, reminders that the pickup or drop off time is coming up excessively etc.

a bit glitchy, has a serious resource leak that reminds me of the windows me resource leak because its unnecessarily resource intensive it wants full control of every aspect of the device at all times to the point that it uses every available bit of memory and causes my S23 Ultra to completely freeze. Also needs to be night mode capable. Also need to be able to choose which stores in my area i am willing to accept offers from. Also when shopping lets not start with frozen and refrigerated goods.

The app is not what it used to be, I used to be able to make 800+ in a week now I can stay on for 6-10 hours and only get 4 orders in that time. Tipping has become a lost art. However, the internal app updates make the app itself easy to use. I'd like to see better base pay and the feature to see order volume on the day so that I can decide what I can do to compensate.

I like how easy it is to scan batch orders and the fact you don't have to do them in a certain order. Too many unnecessary steps. For example, taking out where the package is located- the picture will say it all. Alcohol/medication verification could be simplified if drivers scanned the back of the license. Or, could be done from the customer's end. Accuracy of how long a trip will take- my trips always take longer. Add letting the driver know if the trip goes into a different state.

Review is getting better. Last update seems to have drastically fixed something bc I can now do 2-3 runs in a row without a fatal error of some sort like I could for the first month I was on it. But still, send the dev team out to deliver on the app. There's real features we need like an emergency button if we're in a wreck or robbed and we need to be able to tell it when gps is wrong. Otherwise, when everything works right, these are my fav deliveries bc they're big enough to feel like work.

I really do everything I can. From communicating to high quality items. My other apps are nearly perfect ratings from the customer. Not spark though. I haven't even done a delivery for over two weeks and my rating just went down again! Serious problems in this whole process. Unlike some of the other drivers, I will not be using it again any time soon.

having constant crashes, getting notifications of runs but runs not showing up, the app just spinning and spinning and will not clear out, getting to your drop-off point and not being able to confirm that you dropped it off because the app goes crazy. this app has never been the greatest in the world but in the last few weeks it has been downright terrible and calling in does no good they don't fix it

**Update (05/22/24) - Still duplicate orders CONSTANTLY. Another issue is that there are not enough PERSONALIZED offers. I'm literally fighting other drivers just get ONE order. Ridiculous! The app will be loading an order and I'm tapping to 'accept' only to get a response that someone else has accepted the offer first. **(05/29/24) - The heat map is misleading and provides poor data results. We are told that when it's busy more orders will come, but I've experienced the opposite.

I began delivering for Spark in '21 after a car accident that left me unable to work. It made ends meet. Next 2 years delivering at my leisure. 2024? has been oddly slow. At first, I thought it was my app. I would uninstall, then reinstall the app. It seldom worked. I asked other drivers, and they told me that there are scammers using multiple accounts, bots, and signal blockers. It takes orders away from honest drivers. No idea what spark is doing to stop this. Very Frustrating!

Experiencing issues with apps. It is showing first come, first serve orders, while I am waiting in the store for a round robbin. Then, as soon as I tap accept order states the order is no longer available. This happened 6 times in a row, all different orders with different payout amounts. It also states that I have orders, and when I tap to see orders, there is a blank screen with notification stating "Offer no longer available."

I remove 1 star for the shopping and 1 star for the gps communication. The app sends the nearby address and not always the correct address to the google maps app. The shopping app has you get the " perishable" items before the non-perishables. If I try to manually choose which item to pick next, then I find myself crisscrossing the store in a less than efficient manner.

App works when it works. Get a lot of lowball offers that barely pay for the gas used to deliver, but that's not really a problem with the application. Also if trip gets cancelled, the payout is simply a flat $2 and some change, regardless of the time or distance traveled to pick up. Now for the app: 1. Cannot change quantity for multiple items when shopping. Substitutions may require items to return to shelf and change quantity (Driver support can't even change). There's a lot more, but no room

The app itself is a disaster. Even on a new, powerful phone it constantly causes major performance issues. The shopping barcode scanner is still broken. The route guidance constantly gives an entirely different address than the one listed by customers. Basic functions are slaved to an internet connection that, again, has confusingly high demands of any phone. So many functions just stop working with no reason and come back whenever they feel like it. This has been going on for months.
