Piece of trash app. They don't have basics like downloading 3 month statement. To download 3 month statement you will have todownloand statement 6 times cause they have 2 statement for every month. Literally using this account just because my office forced me to. Going to shut this once I leave my current office cause u guys don't have basics app features in place. Have been using HDFC and IDFC both works like charm. Go for IDFC for seamless features

Team, I want to highlight recent faced issue to reach out HSBC Customer Service, I am trying to connect customer care representative however since last 4 days I am unable to connect, I have tried 5-6 times but everytime unable to connect so please suggest how we can rely on your services. I have requested for Loan Repayment Schedule 4 days ago but still not received.

I have been trying to register using my PAN number and email ID for the past 44 days, but I am still unable to do so. I contacted customer care about this issue, and they advised me to try again after 24 or 48 hours. It has now been more than 4 weeks, and the system is still not working properly. I hope someone will take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible.

Yet another app which has disabled functionality if developer mode is enabled. Why do these banks not understand that we would rather stop using their apps than compromise on animation speed across all functionalities of the phone EDIT- I'd rather have your app bogged down by 1 star ratings than contact your phone banking support and waste my time knowing they have zero power to do anything

This is My Worst experience faced with HSBC. I have been waiting in call to speak with customer care executive around 82 min. Not even single executive answer the call. I have made a transaction amount was debited and transaction was not successful. There is no proper options to choose in mobile banking app. Fully frustrated with complete your service and I made a mistake by choosing HSBC account for my financial situations Again and again getting irritated with customer service zero patients

The app should be so clear that if I need anything I can do it within mins. I am trying to login to my account since morning but nothing is working. Tried every method but all the ways leads to one same page. I have a salary account with you guys but I will definitely close the same asap. Just try using the hdfc mobile app and you will realise where you guys are. Good luck with your app

Absolutely worst customer care experience. Anyone, especially someone looking for NRE/NRO account should not opt for this. Just to connect to any customer care executive it will take a minimum of 15 minutes. OTP for authentication will arrive only after an hour or so by which time it became absolutely useless. Often the call will get disconnected while in call or when they try to transfer to someone else. Call the customer care from abroad only if you have a minimum of one hour to spend !!!

It is not customer friendly. The instructions on digital key and the menu are not consistent with each other. There is no other banks online payment facility for credit card bills. There is a restriction on devices to be used which limits the convenience. The app doesn't show the options given in the instructions. Overall, for an normal customer it is unfriendly.

Hello Hsbc team. I'm trying to connect concern department from last week, tried all toll free number which connects you to ivr even after waiting for 20 minutes to connect with any of your customer care there is no use it will not connect to any customer care. Being International bank unable to help own client on their Issues waste. I'm unable to login on mobile banking from past 15 days if you guys are seeing this please try to reach me out.

The overall app is not smooth and lacks several features. No feature to set transaction limits on neft and many more. Check Standard chartered bank application. It has all the features in a single app.

App is terrible, account balance, credit or debit cards not getting updated on real time rather than other bank apps. Credit features are missing. If I compare to other banking apps lot of work needs to be done. Only Security point of view app is good rest are it is negative.

Support Chat in the app is useless. Automated responses that service request is raised and someone will get in touch within 48 hours, those 48 hours never exhaust. While other banks have smooth onboaring, HSBC is painful for both getting a new card and closing an old Credit Card. Also you have to wait for the physical card to be delivered, while most other banks immediately provide details in the app so the cards can be used online.

What the hell is wrong with app ? Developer Option is not only for harmful purposes!! It is made for for useful functions as well. Why you are forcing to switch off the same ??????? If your app can't work properly with Developer Options "ON", then there's fault in your app, you can't force anyone to disable it, just because your app can malfunction. You can add the option of "I accept the risks associated" Please disable this feature.

The app is good to look at balanaces quickly. But it misses basic features like allowing one to set up beneficiaries and change the standing order amount alone, etc. The app also has bugs. When setting up a new standing order, it allows the user to choose "gift" as a response to "purpose of transfer," but at the end of the setting up process gives an error message.

How do you disable developer mode. just getting nowhere with this! The app opens to this page and there is no way to disable even if you want to! Tried to reinstall app and same message appears! Useless. Edited.. Problem sorted after an android phone search for settings to disable. So working well now

Update - reduced one star for the templatized response to my comment. Why do I need to call phone banking when I am reporting app issues. App is simple but not many features. No information around credit card reward points balance or redemption of the same. Even the payment due date is not mentioned and one can get it from the monthly statement only.

This is utterly ridiculous. App is only usable if developer options are disabled. You can't decide how I use my phone. This is not an iPhone where you decide what a user can do. We choose Android for freedom of use. All other banking apps don't have any security issues with it, but only you have. developer options are useful for many daily things. We can not disable it entirely

I am a credit card user. The application is not at all user friendly. You can only see transactions (which are updated very late). You cannot pay the bill via Credit card. And their other way to pay it is very unconventional. I would suggest these people to learn from other credit card apps to know how it is done. The payments made are also reflected after 4 days which is equivalent to cashing a cheque (Even that is faster). Please do not opt for a HSBC credit card.

Very basic app. Below average as compared to ICICI and HDFC bank app. HSBC bank doesn't know how to make a basic Bank account Statement. It is so complicated. Only 3-4 transactions appear on a single pdf page. If you want to view a single transaction and go back to the statement it always take you to tha top of the page. You have a scroll again and again. Very poor experience on Internet banking as well.
