Love Honeybook in general, but the app is atrocious .... navigating it is a nightmare, you can't make any tax changes in an invoice, it randomly logs you out then doesn't give you an option to login with FB or Google (which I use) .... I will even enter in my login for both of those and will always tell me I have an incorrect password when I don't. Then it will tell me they've sent an email to help me reset the PW, but I never get one. Notification system is never brings you to the place. Sad :(

I love honeybook and rate it 5 stars! But the app I can only rate 2 stars. My business model contains invoice milestones, and the app does not allow us to show previous invoices with milestones or make new invoices with milestones through the app. Basically, making the app useless when we are on the go and need to check if a client is on time with payments. Pretty unprofessional when a client is asking how much they owe and you can't tell them. Please fix and this app would be 5 stars!

The things they are adding is giving me life!! Right now, I can't get it to open though. I'm not sure if it's my phone or the app. But they are making changes! ---- It's far too limited. What they do have is or can be SUPER helpful so that is what gives it 3 stars. But, I have weeks where my desktop and I aren't friends. I encourage my team to take time off of desktop too. However, the mobile site and the app is limited. So a desktop has to be used. Even to see basic info like monthly sales.

This app used to be really great and affordable for small business owners. I'm looking for a replacement, because at this point I don't see the value. I pay monthly to use the service, even when I don't have business. Then, when I finally get a client, an additional $82 is charged to process the credit card payment. I truly appreciate the templates and client management resources, but not at the rate they are charging. Not with all the glitches, either... I'd recommend finding something else.

I, like many of the other reviews, have experienced the Android app to be basically useless. I am able to recieve notifications and occasionally am able to actually go in and check project details, but other than that I can't do much. The online desktop version is great, but this app is just frustrating. I can't even get in and countersign a contract because it doesn't give me the option to accept it or continue. The phone app is essentially useless other than to just check project details.

Love Honeybook but the android app is lacking. It takes almost a full 4 minutes for it just to open and then most of the time I can only view notifications but can't actually open any projects to send messages or do the work I need. It constantly freezes and has to restart as well. *Update* there have definitely been some app improvements, but it still takes ages to open anything. I can usually get my laptop set up and open the program online and it's still trying to open the app.

I want to start off by saying I LOVE honeybook! It has made my life so much easier when it comes to booking and managing clientele for my photography business. That being said I find the app needs alot of work. It is very slow and laggy. I find myself logging off of it very often to just go to the brower as it operates better there. I can't sign my contracts for some reason on the app. And the tools are limited on the app. I hope it can be improved soon because it would be amazing!

The app will work fine for a period of time, but then, especially on the invoices, it will only allow me to add 2 items. This has happened in the past, then it was fixed, and now it's happening again and it's frustrating when the app is supposed to add convenience but instead it adds stress. Also, if someone inquiries, why doesn't that information automatically get added to the event details so the contacts can be updated with the information they're already provided? Just wondering.

Honeybook is amazing and helpful, but the app is beyond horrible to deal with. Lots of bugs, hard to deal with, super inconvenient. I love my desktop version, but 92% of the time, I'm working remotely and cannot access my desktop version. I need this app to AT THE VERY LEAST hit send on brochures, questionnaires, packages, etc of templates I have already created on the desktop site. Hence the benefit of an "app". Definitely needs an overhaul.

The app (for android anyway) is one of the worst i use. It isnt responsive to tapping to move within the app. The info on the side of the portal on a desktop is hard to access and not organized in a way that makes sense. It's not fitting to screem correctly a lot of the time. It's just too complicated to use both for the business and the client. Just uggghhh.

I really want to LOVE this app. In theory it has everything that a CRM should have but the app is super glitchy. I have multiple issues with it weekly which makes using it so unbelievably frustrating and makes me want to potentially switch services. The desktop version is good, but often takes time to load which is annoying. The team is always willing to help and super sweet, but sadly the issues keeps arising.

I think the app is great and really helps with checking dates and contacts quickly. Buuutt there is one very annoying bug, for some reason I am only able to search one proposal at a time. If I wanted to search another file, it will not let me open. Search is fine, it's the opening of each proposal/file that won't work. Works once, then have to close the app, open once more, search again to open another file.

Update: thanks for fixing the issues! Everything works even better than it used to. Five stars! This app used to work well on my phone but in the last few months I can't even open any of my projects. I tap and tap on things and I know it is registering my touch because the project (or whatever) gets highlighted, but nothing ever opens or links out to the next page... Basically useless to me right now. I needed to get the address to a venue today and couldn't open my file to find it.

Poorly designed. Tapping notifications doesn't take you to the correct place in the app. So you still have to remember what the notification was about and find the project in the app yourself; tapping notifications just opens the app. Interface is terrible and confusing. Your limited to certain functions and there's no way you can manage anything using the app without using a desktop version. Even the desktop version is trash. The text formatting is glitchy and you can't get the same size font.

Its missing feature for example adding expenses to a file can only be done on the desktop. I work remotely 90% of the time. This app needs to open more promptly. I don't feel confident sending out contracts from the app because it has to many errors. The app has alot of glitches that need to be worked out. I love the desktop version. If only I loved the mobile more then the desktop top. You would then get a 5 star

I'm not sure what is happening with the app this past month. Every email I send is adding unnecessary spaces, and my message turns into a book. I signed out and tried to sign back in, to see if that would help, after updating the app... it then wouldn't let me sign back in. Thankfully, I could still use my computer to send emails and invoices. I un-installed the app and installed it again. It worked for a few days, and now it's turning my emails into books again. Please fix the glitch.

I've had honeybook for years and love it, and the app was amazing and much needed. However, now it constantly freezes, or won't even work at all, apparently just androids. We all know in our industry time is huge so not being able to get to my clients asap, or send brochures, etc when I'm not at my computer is frustrating. Tired of having to uninstall and reinstall. Fix your bugs please, it's been a known issue for over a month now!

Updating my rating from 2 stars to 4. They added features & it's not crashing on android. This is my digital Bible. It's incredibly helpful. Just lacking on some things like printing a quote w/out pricing to use for pick tickets. I have to crop off all prices & print. Lots of in-clicking required sometimes to get to what I actually need, but overall I highly recommend. Wish more characters on the project name allowed.

Update: 4/26/21 Same problems. Every time I am on the road and need to use this app it runs incredibly slow and crashes every.single.time I try to attach a file or send an invoice. I cant edit details if the info changes. Honestly, horrible app. Desktop version works perfectly. Posted on 9/2/20 Poor quality. I have to restart this app all the time to do simple things like send an email. Desktop version is perfect. But I am not able to reliably send invoices from my phone.

The app and website have terrible design and customization. Contracts must be assigned to a specific person with no option to override for bigger projects where the contract is needed for many individuals. Make it user-friendly. I was really looking forward to using HoneyBook because I have heard great things, but I can no longer see my companies using this platform.
