Always accessible to United Bank account holders and simple to navigate. The only gripe I had is a message saying "the network is too busy. Please try again later" pops up when opening the app randomly, though infrequently. I've tried restarting my phone and powering off/powering on, but it didn't clear. Only way was to uninstall app and reinstall app, then it clears. The phone is also currently updated. When in doubt, just log in to the United Bank website and there aren't hardly any issues. C+

The worst online banking app I've ever used, and I use 4 other banking apps daily. It kicks me out of the session even when I click ok to stay logged on. There is no way to post notes on transactions. When you download anything from your account it saves as "new statement" no matter what it is. The statements are sorted by "deposit" whatever that means. Some months don't even show a statement. I currently have 3 months missing that I need for tax purposes. The app freezes constantly

This app is absolutely terrible. I have been with this bank for well over a decade! My husband and I are talking about switching banks because of how unreliable this app is. In today's world a functioning reliable banking app is a necessity. If I can't even get in to check my balance when needed honestly what's the point nowadays. If it was every now and then it would be a 4 star. But there's almost daily log in issues with this app. If you need a reliable banking app do not go with this bank!!

I like the quick balance information with just a pin. The navigation between accounts and the mobile display is much less clear then my CresCom mobile app was. Also it's much more difficult to pay bills and to see Bill payer information. I figured that with a bigger bank would be a better mobile app but I have not found that to be true

WORSE BANKING APP EVER. The biometrics, it doesn't work. I have saved my screen name. However, I have to enter it again and again every time I want to log in. On top of all the stress, it makes me enter my phone number all the time to "ensure" my identity. I was banking with 2 different banks, Capital One and TD Bank. Until I moved where I live now, we don't have these 2 banks in the area. I never experienced any issues with their apps. United, you need to get on top of your game.

This app has been so hit and miss. The convenience of just booting it up to check my account do some basic transactions is nice. However, the amount of times I've had to uninstall and reinstall or got locked out. Because it decided that my password was wrong. Despite me taking care and time to make sure I was typing it correctly. It has become more of a frustration then convenience. Just now it kept telling me bad request when I enter my info to sign in. It's easier to use the website now.

ESSEX BANK APP WAS BETTER! I have nothing but problems I have to un-install and reinstall it all the time because it won't work, even when I tell it to remember my username it doesnt, it doesn't show a running balance on the transactions, and it's all around frustrating. As someone who's not only working in banking but has accounts at multiple banks this app is the worst I've ever used!

Great app. Updated ruined it. Idk what they did in the recent update, but my app won't work. I have to reinstall it every few days, and it works maybe 3 times before I try to open the app and it's blank. Seriously, there is nothing but a white screen. When it does work it's great, but pleaaase fix it

So many things wrong. 1. The quick passcode for login doesn't save. It keeps making me reverify my account by sending a code to my phone number, EVERYTIME i log in. 2. Zelle hasn't worked for a year. That used to be the main way my husband and I sent money to eachother. I see all these horrible reviews that call out the on going issues and the issues has not been fixed. Does anyone work anymore? Who up-keeps these apps? I want to change banks just becauss of app issues.

There are a lot of things that need to be fixed. There is an option to use a pin for easy login but after 2 times it quits working. The app often says it's not working and I have to uninstall and reinstall. Login process is to long and annoying. It would be nice to be able to easily use your bank app. Why offer features if they can't be used?? I hope you fix them.

It used to be a great app. Now it's horrible. There's a weird glitch that makes me redo set up every time I try to log in. Literally have to re-sign up for the mobile app each time, ridiculous. It also erased my savings account after I withdrew my money from it just a couple of months ago. No, warning for it or anything. Can't use Zelle anymore either because it rarely ever works. It doesn't show all your finances in depth anymore either. Hope they'll fix these issues finally.

A frustrating app. Every update, they force you to log in again, but don't tell you why. They'll change a rule (but they don't tell you- your password just stops working) and then you have to change your password. On the bright side, it's ridiculously secure. It's just at the expense of quick and easy use. Mostly because they don't communicate and are a little over the top.

Very difficult time logging on. Called support and they could not help me. Finally able to log on, but app very slow to respond. Was much better in the past. Not sure what they did to it, but I'm not happy with it tonight. 1/24/22: Still very slow. Tonight, it completely locked up my phone. Had to restart it to get out of it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling program. It didn't lock up my phone after reinstalling it, but it was still very slow in taking pictures of check to deposit.

The app is great if you can get logged in. EVERY SINGLE TIME it says data network is busy or unavailable please try again. It's never available! So instead of using the app I have to log in. It's useless because I can't even login. I feel like I have a better chance of winning the lottery than logging in with this app. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it to no avail. FIX IT, please!!!

Update 10.3.22 - Again with the update and things not working. PITA. Just log into the web page. Original - App not working, I'm having the same experience as others with the fingerprint not being recognized. Didn't recognize my user ID or password had to go through and change my password after searching for my checkbook for my account number. Worked for a day and then didn't work again. Had to do the whole thing over and change my password a second time. Very inconvenient!!!

Update -- Jul 2023 Nothing has changed, still clunky and very dated. Really astonishing that they haven't put more attention to this. Perhaps they just don't care. I've since open an account at Chase and their app is flawless. Slowly moving all my banking there.. Original review: Terrible app. Clunky and frustrating. Always have to reset settings. Very mediocre user experience. Literally thinking of changing banks in order to have a better mobile banking experience

Not even once has it worked correctly. It asks for my pin and says, sorry, thats unavailable every time. Then i put my password in and press continue and nothing happens. So i have to restart the app and do it all over again Update: 3 years later and the app is STILL garbage. i have opened another account at NFCU and could not be happier. i am switching everything over to them, mostly due to this crappy app!

Taking photos of a mobile deposit needs to use the built-in flash, and automatically detect when the check is framed correctly, then automatically trip the shutter. I appreciate the app using fingerprint recognition instead of having to type a password. The app also needs to do away with the multiple "Continue" screens just to get to the "Deposit Checks" screen.

If it would auto update when it says downloading updates wouldn't be so bad. I have an android and just had to Uninstaller the app, reinstall it, go to settings and allow fingerprint again. Hadn't been able to log in with it for a month and figured I would try since I had heard that it needed updated. Update Now I can't even use the app!

This app has never consistently been user friendly. At least 4x/mo I get notices, when I try to use it, that it needs an update; I click the link, get routed to the app store, and there is never an option to update it. This continues on for a day or two and then just suddenly disappears. In the meantime I can't see what's going on with my account. So frustrating.
