The app works flawlessly. If there a delays with transfers with more often than not it is usually due to your our bank accounts, not with with GreenDot. Every bank has their own timeline for processing transfers. As far as the UI of the app itself, check your phone settings and permissions, Because the app is very straightforward.

This app functions, but not fully. The one thing that does work is the cash back. Needs a lot of work! It's really surprising that Amazon would associate with a "bank" that lacks full functionality. If your app won't let you log in, too bad. You can't login via a web browser nor can you check your balance or complete any meaningful function over the phone. App still has too many issues and downtime to rate more than 1/5. There are better banks for gig workers.

The app doesn't offer fingerprint login or 4 digit pin log in from the app. Every time I log in I have to put my entire password. Chase app offers fingerprint and Chime app offers 4-digit app pin. Time to upgrade the Flex card to better feature

They will lock up your money while they use it to make profits and say it's unavailable for some made up reason. They've repeatedly done this to me until eventually I switched my direct deposit to the discover cashback card. It's just as good as this card but they don't lock your money like this card does!

Great cash back. Nice to not have to pay 50 cents per day of cashouts. Only have 3 issues with this card. First, Amazon Flex promised that payments process "instantly", but the time frame is literally no different than my previous debit card. 2nd, when I try to transfer money from Uber Pro card or Chime to this card, it doesn't work. Finally, costs $4.95 every time I want to load cash onto the card.

Update: *Once acct is closed they make it that even though it's a green dot card you can't ever get another one. Even if you have to close it due to their errors!! Making this impossible instant payout in eligible. (Acct closed due to constant errors and the Flex One Card issues that are on going) Fraud.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. All I can do is get on the app. It won't let me link an external account it tells me it's successful and than tells me there was a problem and unable to link. I'm not doing direct deposit especially if I can't transfer money to my other bank account. Getting this card has been a waste of time for me! Don't do it!

I am unable to create a pin and use it to swipe for payments. Still, one year after downloading this app. They added Samsung pay, and that doesn't work either. This app is almost useless and doesn't ever get any better. It only works for me linked to the mobile gas station app. I update it asap everytime, and nothing changes.

Holy Smokes! Just as other users have stated going back a few months and the issue is on going! I have Chase Bank which is well known, but I cannot link my bank to the card! It does feel like they do not want you to do this! I have a support ticket but I don't know what they can fix that should have been fixed months ago. I was having my direct deposit going into this card but I have to change that quickly! UPDATE: In response to the reply of support, I have been i contact with support through email....After sending screen shot after another, I was told it was being escalated but have never heard back...But, this is an issue that others are having so I dont know what to say to you except that I'm spending whats in there now and then tossing the card and app. Unfortunately!

Issues with card declining for no reason, not being able to access funds, funds stored in their "vaults" just disappearing for days. Support repeatedly tells you it's a technical issue and they're working on it, but it takes days/weeks. I was refunded $200 from a merchant on October 15th, the Flex Debit card counted it as a purchase and my account is now -$198. Clearly a mistake on their end since they don't let you overdraft, but support is useless, makes up excuses and refuses to escalate.

Consistent issues 😞 Every time I log in, it immediately says it can't so I have to do it a couple times before it finally takes & that's w/my saved biometrics so it's the correct password, after an update now I had to completely relog in & it won't let me & just says try again later. I've been doing this for days & there's no way for me to check my card online even. I'm so frustrated & this has been a constant issue since I first got it

This is an absolutely wonderful and amazing app, tool and idea that Amazon has implemented. I use this card almost daily and the cash back is actually worth it! especially at gas stations. basically you get enough back per fuel up that it actually reduces the amount per gallon that you're paying. This program is by far the best that any company has implemented I have come across. I am an Amazon Flex driver at the moment and plan to be until further notice, And hopefully it works even after.

This app and card are garbage. It won't tell you WHICH ATMs are IN network, and when you try one, you get charged $3 PER TRANSACTION!!! The app WON'T let you connect to your bank so you can just transfer money. It always says it can't do it so that you are FORCED to pay the fees at ATMs or to get cash back, $100 at a time, by buying things at the store. When you try to get 2 withdrawls, it tells you that you have maxed out your limit for the day, even when you are $600 AWAY from that limit. This card is a total waste of time and money! I've had it since March of 2021 and I have spent over $21 on fees, but gotten back about $9 in savings. When you go to the HELP menu, it always ends up on a BLANK page with NO help whatsoever. It's badly programmed, badly implemented, and a bad choice for anyone trying to SAVE money. I reiterate, this app and card are GARBAGE!!! A reply to Green Dot's reply: THE APP DOESN'T DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN IN AND OUT OF NETWORK ATMS!!! THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHICH ONE WILL NOT CHARGE YOU!!! AND NOT BEING ABLE TO CONNECT THE BANK ACCOUNT MAKES THE CARD AND APP WORTHLESS FOR PAYING RENT OR OTHER MONTHLY BILLS!!!! IT IS GARBAGE!!!

Cash back is nice, but overall it's a terrible service. For one thing it will decline online purchases for no reason ( including Amazon purchases smh), even though plenty of funds are available. Clueless support who can't help, and it's just not worth the headaches to spend your own money. One card is a much better option imo.

I got the Amazon Flex Debit Card and at first it took a bit of getting used to. I didn't think it was that bad, until just recently. My direct deposit came at different times, I had money placed in pending for up to 2 weeks. I had the rewards where I got cash back, but not on everything I was supposed to. At first I recommended this, now I'm begging people not to use it. I've been fighting for 10 days for money that was placed on hold but canceled yet the bank still wants it pending. RUN!

I don't do direct deposit (chose not to reading reviews), but I transfer money from my checking account. It takes sooooooo long to transfer even though they take the money from my bank almost immediately. I like the cash back on gas (the other cash back is almost worthless), but you have to make sure to transfer money way before you think you'll need it. I truly don't understand why it takes so long. But the app itself is simple and easy to navigate.

I have never had a worse experience with a debit card or any other form of financial institution. Balances are constantly incorrect, transactions often are denied regardless of the sufficient balance and the amount that is declined will show as a pending transaction, locking your money up. Now my entire paycheck deposit shows however "due to technical difficulties" card won't work and was told 48 hrs!! I was forced to borrow money to eat, pay bills and have gas to get to work. UNACCEPTABLE

Won't open!! The app was working flawlessly. Now I cannot even login. I constantly get an error. I have closed out and reopened the app, changed my password, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still won't open! I need to transfer.funds and they are.being help hostage. This has been going on for several days and there is no support help available just the option to recover your username or reset your password. This is extremely frustrating!!

Inability to resolve refunds in a timely manner. Slow overwhelmed customer service indicates a plethora of customer disputes and issues, also unlikely to be resolved in a timely manner. Good cash back perks and ATM locations. The app itself is simple and easy to use, but lacks basic features. No transaction notifications, and login must be implemented every access.
