Updated review after discovering the weather provider is no longer WU. Now foreca and accuracy has been lost. It's like a beautiful car with a poor engine. Still the same good layout, especially like the chart page, still the best I have found. However without the best accuracy available has lost its value for me. Maybe they can forecast the weather OK other areas but not here so the 5 falls to 3.

This is my main app to get a quick veiw of what the weather is doing, the date and time, and any up coming schedules or appointments that I have. The changes to this app have made it much more useful to me than the previous versions. I've noticed that the radar image is not available any longer. That's not a problem for me as i have other apps that do that very nicely. NICE JOB!!!

NEW: Dev seems to have fixed. Back to being a great app! OLD: [edit] Widget deleted itself. Readded. Now show expected weather info but as another user said, keeps saying it's current 32*F when it most obviously is not. Opening the full information, current city info now displays completely blank even when force refreshed. Going to multi day forecast is the only way to see weather properly now. This is after resetting the app and clearing the cache and approving location info. Please fix

I have not found a more comprehensive app. Not only is it technically functional, very configurable, lets me choose my favorite weather source, and has beautiful widgets. The optional drill down weather views from the main view are unmatched! I love this weather app! The March 2021 update has caused "refresh" to not work in a timely manner over Wi-Fi. Please fix this issue.

I've tried so many other weather widgets that are either ugly or don't have many of the features you would want. This widget provides you with all the information you would ever need in a beautiful display. Customization options seem endless. If you rely on a home screen weather widget for timely and truly informative information, this is the app for you. The paid version is worth 10 times the small cost.

I broke the screen on my previous phone, bought the same phone again, used, and set it all up but couldn't remember the weather application I was using. All I knew was the stock version was sorely lacking. After some digging and refreshing my memory I got this baby back. Truly incredible details and I missed it immensely in the short time I didn't have it. Top notch.

I accepted the new subscription version after paying for the Pro version. Now it is buggy again. The graphic displays UNAVAILABLE. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no changes except now the radar doesn't work. It offers another subscription to include radar but any attempt to explore options/prices crashes the app. Resetting the app solved problems except for the radar not functioning. For that I had to buy new subscription (19.95). Still had 8 months of my current subscription.

Excellent Weather+ App!!! Its Clean, Fast, Very Customizable, and Well Organized! I really like the desktop widget that includes my upcoming events Calendar. Unlike many apps with few options, this one has tons but is so well organized it stays easy to use. Love that I can customize the look, change units, and select what I want to see.

used it for years and even paid for it. There was no subscription. Today I got a bill from google that said I was on a trial and that the subscription will be renew in a couple of days. What a scam. First, I never changed it to a trial and the subscription price was two dollars higher than advertised in the play store. It will be reported to google and every android forum I am a member of.

very good app and worth the purchase price! setting a minor issue: next alarm shows the next alarm time plus 5 minutes. for example, my morning alarm is set for 6:20am. this widget indicates alarm is 6:25. I've changed the alarm time and the widget updates, but always adds give minutes. otherwise, excellent app. fyi, on Samsung Note 8.

Edit: I did that before I posted and it shows it on the left in the options but switches it to the right as soon as you place it. Edit 2: Ok. I placed a 2nd widget just to double check. That one stayed on the left and the other one switched to the right. Not sure what is going on with it. Thanks for the response. I bumped it up to 4 stars.

This used to be such a great weather app with a set of nice, customizable, and easy-to-use all in one weather widgets for the discerning user. However, since the indroduction of the premium subscription update, I've been more and more upset with every passing day with certain features being locked behind a monthly paywall. I would rather a premium version let me pick, choose and buy only the features I want instead of bulk subscription for a blood money payment every month, it's ridiculous.

PAID 4/12/19. Now refund $8.99. Great for weather but fails requirement for clock. "Transparent" in the title led me to think this app would continue to display home screen apps like a theme. Instead, this program makes me manually run this app ; then takes over the entire view. Settings are robust, but misleads without any real setting to make the background transparent to the home. Thus defeating simplicity to always and easily view time at a glance, then tap into weather.

Best weather app ever!!! Well, it used to be until Hourly Forecast was moved to share with Daily Forecast on the home screen. Now swiping across to individual pages of daily forecasts is out 🥺. It was so nice to swipe to individual days to see the background of the page match the weather for that particular day. Please bring that feature back and leave Hourly Forecast where it already is. It already has two pages of its own.

I've used this app for a number of years now and find it very accurate, well organized, and truly an excellent addition to my cell. Great interface, easy navigation, able to personalize it with important locations & graphics; alerts and notices give you plenty of time to plan and prepare. Definitely worth paying for

Widgets can't have the time on the right since v3.50.#? July 2019 review: Love it, especially the widgets. Jan. 2020 update: same! I love how it keeps getting better, even though I didn't realize there was room for improvement! It's my go-to weather app, along with Weather Underground (this gets its data from Weather Underground, but presents it differently). I'd like is to have more favorite cities, bc I like to see the weather where my friends are; 10 is not enough! Otherwise it's awesome!

Edit: After 3 years and multiple devices, this app is better than ever! Paired with Nova Launcher, I resized the bigger widget's. Customization in the widget's is fabulous! Original review:1/3/2018 I'm pleasantly pleased. After a long search to find a replacement for my long time clock/weather widget, this actually exceeded the functionality of my old one. It's much easier to set up, and modify too. I hope to enjoy this as long as other great apps I have, like Nova.

The app appears to work okay. Flow and settings are simple and intuitive. One problem though: I'm using wunderground as a source and for some reason the app has different information than the online website. I think the app information may be more current. Not sure. Don't care. This ain't brain surgery. Nobody's going to die if it's a little off..

After the last update, the sections don't match each other. The daily forecast, for today, showed no rain all day. Under precipitation, 100% rain till 1:00 p.m. After that, nothing. The radar, shows wide, intense, thunderstorms here, and over half the state. WRONG. Further when I slowly zoom in the radar, many major cities, that always showed, including mine, no longer show up at all. The animated background is showing lightning, & heavy rain. WRONG. The App WAS great. Now, it's a Mess.

I bought an ad-free version of this app in 2018, used the free version before that. Its widget has served as a home screen banner on my cell phones as long as I can remember. It's a concise, convenient display of time, date, temperature and current weather. A tap on each lets me set alarms, see my calendar, or get the whole weather report at my location or others I've set. It has never exhibited bugs or glitches, nor ads since 2018. 5 stars is an easy call. Props to MACHAPP Software.
