Very poor experience. There are so many technical issues with the app. Videos won't even play for me and the only way I can get it working is to delete and reinstall the app... Every single time after watching something.

Terrible selection of content. Glad I browsed everything before subscribing. The few good movies and shows they have are often available on other mainstream or direct competition services. Not to mention how awful the UI is. Try scrolling down to see the next movie, you'll wind up scrolling about 5 titles down.

I like the movies on there but it keeps telling me to get an update but the update won't pop up. Tbh I really got this for Terrifier when I watch it but pls fix this screambox I love your content

Subscription Will Not Cancel. If you sign up for this app, beware. Even if you cancel your subscription, request your data to be deleted, and try and block the charges on your card, they will try and charge you every single week for a bi-annual subscription. I canceled mine in August last year and I've gotten charges every single week the past 3 weeks. No one is manning the support emails. You're gonna have to replace your card to cancel this subscription.

Witness the HORROR of the app telling you that you need to update to watch anything when you're already updated to the latest version! A blood curdling, terrifying waste of money that will leave you screaming for a refund! EDIT: I was sent a survey asking for feedback about why I unsubscribed and they sent me a promo code for 30 days of free streaming. In classice Screambox style, it's the same code they had sent me before so I can't redeem it. Great work guys.

Won't let you cancel subscription. No link directing you to cancel your subscription works in the app or in browser. Won't let me delete my account either, tells me to manually end my subscription and wait until that period ends but it won't let me do that either, like they're trying to find a way to keep you paying. It's a fraud company, do not pay or download

Frustrating experience. Cannot find the new app for Fire TV. Received an email stating that I need to contact Screambox to delete the old account and create a new one. No one responds. I've created a new account but can't access the old one to cancel it. I'm being prompted to become a premium member but I've already paid for a year via my old account. Why would a developer create a new platform on which existing accounts can't simply be moved over? This is asinine.

The app wasn't available on my TV so I had to play the movie on my phone and broadcast to the TV. The app crashed every 15-20 minutes. I paid for 1 month's worth of membership to watch a specific movie that is only available on this service. As of writing this I am halfway through the movie and the app just crashed for the 4th time.

I have had this app for a while no problem and decided that there are not enough movies coming out on it for me to keep it. So I try and cancel takes me to there website that shows a 404 error. Than I try and cancel and delete my account through the website it won't let me. So be warned. There is no support line to deal with either.

I can't get the app to play anything on any device so I emailed them and asked for them to cancel my subscription and to refund my money. They cancelled but said I couldn't get a refund and to just keep logging in and out of the app. Which is literally the first thing I tried. They also charged me twice. After a lot of back and forth where I sent multiple screenshots of the two charges they said they "couldn't find it" and told me I had to go through google for a refund on the 2nd charge. 0/5

I mean, maybe it's server backup because Terrifer 2 just launched, and I'll edit if that's the case, but I literally signed up, subscribed in the app, only after the subscription page I was sent to in my confirmation email didn't work, and then it just wouldn't play, on or off of wifi, VPN on or off, no matter what I do, nothing plays, app is honest to christ broken, it's impressive

Bad selection, only a few good movies and shows on here. Other than that, it's all B rated content. The apps UI is abysmal. Clunky would be the word that comes to mind. Thank God for a 30 day free trial. I will more than likely not be keeping this service. Shudder is 100% better and has probably about 10x's the amount of content. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the streaming quality is surprisingly good. Movies and shows look crisp and clear. The app itself is hot garbage.

Just downloaded this about 10 min ago and already regret it. There's no way to Chromecast from app and I can't find the app on my smart TV either. Also, no option for multiple profiles, very limited catalog and app has already crashed 3x. I'm only here because of the ad-free Black Fri deal and to check out a couple of documentaries but this is WACK. Can't recommend.

I paid for a full Year's subscription in advance. With 8 months left on my subscription to go, I was informed by email that I would have to start another account, create a new one, that changes had been made to the app. Not allowed to access account otherwise. Offered 3 months "free". FREE?! Paid a year up in advance! No explanation given. Tried old password and username again, to no avail. No access on Fire TV, Chromecast, Android. Longtime user, since PS4 had it. NOT pleased. Uninstalled!

Would rate it lower if i could. Says theres a fee trial but can't manage to actually find one. So I decided to just give it a shot and try it monthly, only to discover after it's all said and done they took the whole years lump some out instead of the monthly fees like originally thought . When I went to go cancel subscription there's magically an error; every time without fail

I had high hopes that this app would be cool but the ad supported content was almost non existent and the premium content is worth it. Premium cost as much as shudder but has a tenth of the content. I'll check it out again in a few months to see if they add more content. The worst part is the layout of the library is hard to explore. Just add a catagory drop down and explore from there. It's easier when exploring.

The user interface has gotten much better. I also like the live feature options. You're getting better screambox for sure! Stream quality is excellent and I was surprised to see you got the rights to Terrifier 2. I went ahead and paid the yearly subscription. I want as many options I can get to horror. I'd like to see a bit more content is my only gripe hence the 4 stars.

Looking for a specific movie Screambox popped up with an advertisement for a free 7 day trial and cancel anytime, so if it's a free trial, so why must I pay anything at all until the trial ends. Luckily, I went back and read the reviews before going further. Looks like pretty many unhappy people. If you have to spend anything for a supposed to be a free trial, it is a giant red flag. I'm uninstalling.

Adding ads was disrespectful to the clientele that had just renewed. I have literally watched 3 movies in a year but i chose to support a horror blogs service out of love for the genre. I started an episode of a show and it started with 6 ads this morning. Your trust is lost. Edit: My cat sat on the remote on the third ad. Clicked back in and progress was lost. 9 ads for a 45 minute episode on an ad free service I pay for.
