It's clever but often doesn't actually give you what you ask for, plus you can't actually search for anything that has anything that involves human form whatsoever which is annoying

This app will not allow you to generate images using LGBTQIA colors as part of the prompt. It intentionally excludes minority identities. Thanks, Google.

Didn't work for the first few days after I got the phone. Once it decided to work this was fun for about 2 minutes. I'm not sure why it was decided that this bloatware should be a selling point for the Pixel 9 series

Editing existing images is limited to simply selecting and deleting stuff. There is no reimagine option for existing images which is absolutely useless, if you just want to remove stuff, use the current photos app

I just bought a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. When using this app, it doesn't work if you type in words with a swiftkey keyboard. It only works with Gboard. Hope that gets fixed. Please and thank you.

"Something went wrong". Seems to me someone updated the app's backend incorrectly and without SDP since others seem to be commenting favourably. That or it relies on another app, also incorrectly.

Too bulky. Pixel studio AI models along with other models from Gemini taking upwards of 20+ GB before user data. The base storage on Pixel 9s is 128 GB, of which a large chunk (40%+) is taken by Android system already. Simply unacceptable for useless AI features Google is pushing out without reduction in model size.

Looks great, but I've not been able to create anything yet, the tick or freestyle buttons are faded out. It either doesn't say anything, or sometimes when I enter purely English description, it says it can only do English commands.

Finally thought of an idea that could use this app for and when I launched it, it was completely broken and doesn't work at all. Seems to be dependant on Google servers. If their servers are screwed up then the app is useless

Cool app but buggy. It would be great to be able to export stickers to messages. Also, the "inappropriate image" filter is a little strong. I tried to upload a picture of my daughter hiking and it was flagged as "inappropriate".

Hi Google team, I love Pixel Studio, but: 1. Gboard Integration: Please add the ability to use custom stickers directly in Gboard. 2. Image Import: Filtering options are desperately needed. When importing, it shows ALL photos from my device, including Google Photos cloud photos, local photos, and even WhatsApp images, making it very difficult to find specific images. Edit: can't make it work anymore, something went wrong. Reinstall won't work Android 15 beta bl not unlocked

Great idea but all but useless because of the "safety" limits. 80% or more of requests error out because Google things I want a picture of people. Repeated attempts to get an image without people and the same error. Ask for an image of a dolphin and somehow it still thinks you want a person. Needs a lot of work.

I tried contacting the listed email, but the DLU isn't valid or doesn't allow public interaction, so I'll post here. I, like others, have encountered the "Only English is supported" popup when trying to generate images. What I've found is that that only happens when using a 3rd party keyboard (in my case, SwiftKey), but when I switch to GBoard, it allows input. This is a terrible design, requiring a specific keyboard for use. Plus, it still rejects most prompts erroneously.

For some reason you need to use Gboard only. It doesn't even tell you this, it just says "English only" and locks up with no feedback outside of that. Apart from that bug, it's interesting. My biggest criticism is the resolution of the images, they are too blurry to be used as a background comfortably. Would be cool to get them to fit my phone's aspect ratio with a bit more resolution, to make a background every now and then. Apart from that, it's just a bit of a party trick, not much more.

When in light mode system theme the status bar turns black and is unseeable. There are also some things that should exist. Such as being able to make Stickers smaller than they are in the sticker tray. There should also be an option to use AI to enhance stickers that are zoomed in and kinda fuzzy and could use an AI tune-up.
