More About Mindroid PRO Unlock
Mindroid is an AVS (Auditory Visual Stimulation device - aka Mind Machine or Psychowalkman) app for Android.
It provides each of your brain hemispheres with a signal (either audible or visual) with a slightly different frequency in order to stimulate your brain waves. For more info on this phenomenon please refer to this Wikipedia article.
The aim of this app is to induce either relaxation, meditation, creativity or sleep state of your mind depending on the selected program.
Audible stimulation is full-featured and comparable with single purpose AVS devices. Headphones needs to be used in order for the audible stimulation to be effective!
Visual stimulation is experimental. In order to perform visual stimulation close your eyes and match the red spots on your display with your eyes.
You are kindly welcome to use Mindroid for FREE if you are fine with the default setting. To take advantage of all the available programs and to mix them with the different environments, please consider purchasing the Mindroid Unlock for a minimal Play Store price. We will very much appreciate your contribution and use it for further improvements of this app. Please install the Unlock on top of the current installation (do not uninstall Mindroid).

Nice app But currently doesn't work and always crashed when i use it :( 5 stars when fixed Kk just updated it now it works thanks for the feedback 5stars now ty 🙏🏾

For some reason, I can't just load the information it needs, and use the link in Sleep as Android and have everything work seamlessly.

Better than I could have ever expected. I was skeptical at first I admitted still haven't looked at the science of all this. However I definitely get to sleep easier and sleep more soundly using this app

Great way to experience nausea. Not sure if it's the flashing lights or the strange pulsating noise (maybe both). Feel like I'm sea sick.

It's very very VERY good. I bought the glasses and it is the best sound and light program I have ever used and I have used them over 27 years, ok? Exceptional quality and programmability..

Buyer beware - no support with broken hardware. Bought the Bluetooth glasses, bought the app. The glasses never light up - emailed support a few times, no response. I'll update my review if they come through.

The app in itself is good but the wired sleepmask only works for the first session and then you have to restart the phone to get it to work again. You can't stop a session and try a different one.

Good idea. Badly implemented. Bought the glasses. Took 45 days to ship associated glasses from Europe. When they came the were uncomfotable 50 cent frames. The program designer offers no exact control of frequency or segment length. Most settings must be applied to entire session. Rampimg between frequencies is not smooth. At night for sleep sessions cant figure out how to get led dim enough to not be still be blindingly bright even with eyes closed. Using with vr headset is heavy.

This is a great app. I enjoy tuning my own sessions and find it works great. I go long periods without using it but when I go back to it I remember what a gem it is. I find the visuals are much more effective than the audio, but the combination of the two is best of all.

Apart from the bug that replaced my lockscreen with a giant logo of a brain, this app is 100% worth five stars. If you have ADHD and want to meditate (but it feels like trying to eat a cactus) this app is deff worth a shot. For waking up or getting out of your four o'clock state of hibernation I'd recommend Boris Brejcha on Spotify at 60% combined with a C4 wave on 40% and the energizing program. Perfect pitch match. Developer responds fast to bug reports and reviews.

I've been doing mind machines for decades now when I started out with David paradise to the Proteus portable unit in the really 2000 when I found this I was incredibly happy to see it on Android. You just have to let your mind slip into REM sleep then download sleep as android to record your sleep patterns once the session is done. I recommend getting the glasses they work phenomenally. Great program. Listen to this with the app digital trip the white noise with this is EPIC

I really like this app and I enjoy the flexibility of the different modes and stimuli. I just wish the developers to enable a feature that firstly allows the user to customise colour change mid cycle and also build a menu option in that can create this change in colour through the preset programmes.

It does work; it helps me fall asleep but it has side-effects: 1) My eyes get teary from the light (maybe this is what's making me fall asleep?) 2) I don't dream when I fall asleep using this app, and I wake up the next morning with no recollection of what happened the night before; I usually become semi-conscious when I toss and turn. I took my dreams for granted; I don't remember all my dreams, but they give me a sense of time-passing and their absence made me feel uneasy in the morning. Luckily I got my dreams back after a couple days of not using this app.

Unbelievable! I use it with earbuds and Google Cardboard VR headset and it is amazing! Very customizable, make your own custom programs, exactly how you want! The "brain tune-up" program is insane, trips me out, "seeing" so much with my eyes closed, rainbows, patterns, color and shape, then into full blown trip as if I was walking around on a different planet. Crazy how red flashing lights and sound can do that! Really powerful for relaxation, meditation, and energy!

Great product imho. It's also fascinating how it works. I suffer with ear worms...not just music but words, math formulae, all sorts of things. Some of my ear worms last for months. I find that this zaps the more unmanageable ones. I sleep better as a result. Thats just one aspect in which i find this works. The sleep after use, is also usually good quality sleep.

It would be great if they would update it. The sleep preset will put you to sleep, but in the early morning hours it will suddenly go high pitch frequency and definitely wake you up to the squealing high pitch. I have been so upset at this app after paying for it that when it does this, I have almost threw my phone across the room. I can't recommend this for this reason. After all this time, I tried it again some years later and it still stinks! Zero stars...

I love the concept as I've been learning more about BWE, however at least for the skeptics, I'd like to have the ability to use just oscillating pitches (both ears with the same oscillations in each ear) instead of binaural beats (what I've read, the beats resulting from the two tones are just an illusion and have no impact on brainwaves) but at least an option would be nice

I did purchase a sleep mask which makes the experience more pleasurable. Seems to deliver as promised. Not sure if the efficacy is the app or placebo, but it works for me. Revised: when I purchased a new phone and transferred the data I lost the pro version. Cannot seem to be able to find a fix. Still a great app.
