I love how simple the UI is! As a beginner at being a self taught drummer this really helps me practice drum beats with different combinations and at different tempos... really gives you an idea about different drum styles based on how they sound, it's not a 100 percent accurate, but well, it's enough for a beginner to start... ofcourse that's not it's only use, you could also use it as the background beat in case you wanna record songs and don't exactly have a drummer around!

I could never get in the habit of practicing with a metronome before and I was even considering spending £70 on a Soundbrenner Pulse which would have probably ended up in a drawer. Now I'm inseparable from this app! I only give it 4 stars because the interface could be sleeker and I'd like to see a 5/4 beat. Putting that aside, this is my favourite app on my phone!

EDIT: I have changed my POV. The only big problem is the lack of customization. There are too many awkward or tacky loops, and the basics are neglected (like a really simple slow funk, for example). If we could merge this app with the Zoom pedalboard drumloops, it would be Heavenly. Also, have copies of the loops with custom names, already set on specific bpm.

The drum samples aren't great and functionality is quite limited compared to some free metronome apps. BUT, this is totally useable as a free app. I don't really notice the ads which plague some free apps. In fact other than an ad for additional drum loops I don't remember seeing any. I much prefer practicing to drums loops rather than a metronome. Only real reason to buy the full version is for the automatically incrementing tempo/tap tempo which I can get by without.

The sound mix is terrible. It's tinty, scratchy, twangy,. Every drum loop starts off with a loud crashing symbol or crash that is so annoying and they overwhelm the kick or any Instrument. The high hat and symbols take over the entire band. If you turn it down then you cannot hear any bass kick . Do not record with it . You will want to kill.yourself when you listen to it . Good luck remixing it. 👎

Terrific simple and intermediate and advanced loops to practice playing along to. Really helping me to develop ability to hold a solid groove for more than 30 seconds.(Im a raw beginner). Consistently playing the same groove strengthens muscle memory. Great way to learn to do a fill n return to the groove. Keeps your fill timing in check. As a beginner, I'm impressed. LARGE VARIETY of grooves to choose from.

At first I was impressed with this app for its simplicity so I bought the full version as I dont like ads. The full version still displayed ads. The only value I can see in this app is as a replacement for a metronome. The problem with that is there are fills at the end of each bar or two which is vary distracting. If there is a 2/4 bar in the song then forget it. I tried to get a refund from Google which they refused despite it being well within their 48 hour time limit.

Exactly what I was looking for. A decent range of drum backing tracks that can be tempo adjusted, within preset parameters, for playing along to on my guitar or bass. More interesting than a metronome or click track, but without all the (frankly useless) bells and whistles of some of the other offerings in the Google Play store that I tried. Interface is clean, simple and intuitive. Ideal when playing from 'phone speaker only late at night with an acoustic guitar so as not to upset the neighbours. I've also now setup on my Chromebook and I have this running through my main hi-fi amp and some serious speakers, and if I crank it up the tracks are even better to play along to. So good I bought it after just 20 minutes of clicking through tracks, and then bought the add on Metal Tracks pack too. I had been thinking of getting a Mooer or similar guitarists inline drum pedal or Korg standalone drum machine with presets. This little app has just saved me at least £50 on yet another piece of hardware, and left an empty slot on my pedal-board. Win, win. Looking forward to additional add on packs in the future.

Great loops, very useful beats! one thing I would like to see in the app's functionality is a special mode that allows to stop a beat after its ending without any need to wait for the exact moment. for example, my "NUX octave loop" pedal has a stopping mode which allows me to push the button "stop" in the middle of the loop and it stops right after the last note. thanks!

Great sounding drum loops. Perfect to practice guitar with. I wish that when setting the auto increment feature, you could choose how often to increase. Right now, every loop it increases speed, but I would like to see an option for every two, three or more loops *then* increase speed. Can't wait for more drum tracks. Would like to hear samples of new tracks before purchasing. Its a bit hard to reset to default settings for each loop. Would love to see a reaet button. Jazz and blues next please!

A very good app providing backing music in many styles to play along to. I play the loops from my phone through my guitar amp and just play away to my heart's content. Very satisfying. There are many different loops freely available, with the option to purchase more for a small fee. You can easily control the tempo for playback. Everything is easy to use, it's a very user-friendly app which I recommend highly.

Im a drummer, in the process of learning to play the guitar. I had a blast playing with drum tracks for the first time. So I purchase it. Mainly in this case to say thanks to the developer. That being said, Im a metal head. Metal is my religion. So I was a little disappointed when it seems there are only 7 beats to choose from. Then I see, there are 20 more, but I have to pay almost the same amount to get them as I payed for the app. WHAT? If had known I would have purchased the pack! Thus 3 *s

I really like playing guitar to the beats on this app. I've had this app for quite awhile and I'm always amazed how it helps me to be creative . There are a lot of beats to choice from and being able to change the bpm is awesome. The only thing I would like to ask them to add to it's capabilities is to be able to save the beats in a favorite order, so I could roll from one song to the next seamlessly. Maybe it's capable of doing this now and I just don't know how. I think it's a great app.

So, I got a multi-effects pedal(MEP) for my bass & these days most MEP's have built in rhythm sections, but, this particular MEP doesn't, BUT, no worries cuz this app is perfect for that. I can plug my phone into the AUX jack on my amp & BAM, I got a drummer of various styles, with a slider so every beat style can be altered to the speed I want, I fuggin love it, it's the perfect tool to help you get your timing down if you're a new player and helps us creatives write riffs with tight timing.

Beat problems. There are few if any clean drum beats. The 6/8 for the most part are not usable. Some are not true 6/8. There are no 3/4 and the 6/8 cannot be slowed to 3/4 or a 2/4, which is a standard beat routine. Too many of the "Coffee-house Syncopated" 4/4. With drum loops like these, it's no wonder most people out there can't keep simple, straight forward rhythm. You can't go complex if you cannot stay rock steady in the basics. Stop trying to be flashy and get something straight forward.

Wanted something to help me get back into playing guitar again. I remember when I was younger using my mom's keyboard as my rythm section. Helped keep time while I was jamming and sounded cooler than a metronome. Inspired me to look up an app that could do the same and found this one. I love it. Lots of rhythms to choose from and you can adjust the tempo...it's amazing.

Easy to use, straight forward, good sounding drum loops. Not glitchy, and I don't get the adds others complain about. And I've got the free app. There might be other, more complicated drum apps that do so much more, but for free... this one wins hands down. I just bought the 20 extra metal loops for $3🤣...if they keep expanding, I expect better things to come 🤔✌️❤️🤘

Excellent variety of quality loops. Could use just a touch more control and additional packs. The loops have a BPM Range which would be alot better with more control over the BPM. That in conjunction with an add-on to create a pattern of loops and possibly some drum fills would make this unbeatable. But as far as jamming goes- this is an excellent excellent app

So, the drums sound surprisingly good. I haven't heard them in a mix yet but they sound really good now. I wanted something programmable but this isn't that. Just one suggestion. If you had variations on the beats it would be so great. Maybe a fill or just the same beat with a crash on the one. And endings are so very hard to do with this kind of thing. An ending variation would be just amazing. Or maybe one of the grooves is an ending. Just a generic cymbal roll and out.

Quick Companion Drums. I play bass and I have to play with a metronome or drums some of the time to make sure my timing's on point. This app is perfect for that because with two taps I can have a groovy, and yet very precise drum track to follow. You don't need to build a beat, you can change the tempo (within a certain range per track), and the favorites feature allows you to avoid scrolling through the whole list. Also the app can play over other media and is completely ad-free. 👍
