Great concept, and I love the option of being able to respond to inquiries and seeing others recs. The major problem is that every time I attempt to make a comment, the app freezes and typically has to be closed. I'm lucky some days if I can even write to anyone. Usually, I have to try 2-3 times before I can manage to post. This significantly limits how much I can interact with other readers. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still continues.

This app is difficult to use. I told it I liked anime, and only got recommendations for romantic comedies. And when you finally have everything set up, the app has an option to save an item to read/watch later or mark it as read/watched. But not an option for I don't want to read/watch this. That means it'll have a hard time adapting to a user's tastes and making better recommendations. Overall not a great app.

The add made it seem easy to use and said it customizes recommendations base on your TV streaming service. This app is clunky, overwhelming, a lot of work, and never asked for my streaming services and I can't figure out how to provide that info. Rather than the app having an algorithm to provide you with suggestions, it looks more like a networking service where individuals provide each other recommendations.

Update: The app still freezes every time you open it. I like the interface, concept, and overall usability, but every time you open the app, it freezes on the today page. Then, it subsequently locks up with every additional app manuever. I want to like this app, but the freezing is frustrating, and the "personalized" today picks are never relevant to my preferences. Definitely needs bug fixes. And maybe an endless selection of suggestions would increase user recommendation acceptance rates.

What a great app! What a great app that I never got to use. Installed Likewise on to my phone. Tried to fill out the basic information on the first prompt page and the app crashed every time no matter what I did. This did not stop the app from sending a ridiculous amount of reminders based on literally nothing. Obnoxious! I would love to see the potential of this app, but I no longer have the patience after 10+ attempts.

I ended up uninstalling. Pretty good idea, but didn't work for me. Can't pinpoint why. Just wasn't that impressed?? Pros: a way to look at reviews put in categories/genres. Cons: app "freezes" or becomes unresponsive and have to close; became boring quickly; seems similar to looking up shows and movies and reading reviews on Amazon, Google, or Rotten Tomatoes; some may not like frequent notifications of the same questions over and over (ie.what did you watch this weekend that you'd recommend)

I recently reinstalled this app hoping it improved. I reviewed it last year and reached out to the support team, but nothing has changed. While the concept is great, it's still extremely buggy. Constant crashes, ratings don't save, videos don't load... Etc. Such a shame really. Be warned. If none of that bugs you, it's awesome haha.

So good idea but no option to add books or missing media into their library. Every time I go to respond the app slows down and then eventually crashes. I've been on this app for a while but it's not the best setup. So for book lovers, if you only read mainstream books you might like it but I read a lot of indie authors and this app is not good for that.

Love the concept. Makes finding, saving, remembering, recommending, etc super easy and fun. Plus it includes an icon showing where a show/movie can be streamed. I have found some of the buttons to be a little slow/glitchy and I kind of wish it had a builtin ranking feature, but now I'm just being picky.

Too much like social media, not enough suggestions. Not easy or fun to use. I kept getting notifications of people liking the movies I like.... Not what I thought it was... Downloaded it because it would be more of a TV listing of live streams, recommendations based on my selections, and where movies and shows can be found on streaming services. It's not.

UPDATE: Now I can access the app, but can't do anything. I don't get my daily suggestions and can't access my saves lists. This app used to be one of my favorites. However, the past few days it has become frustrating. Any time I try to open the app, it just spins in circles while trying to load. It takes minutes instead of seconds. I maybe get to use the app once a day instead of multiple times.

As a book and movie lover, this app is a need. You can search for any movie/book and based on your favorites, they give you recommendations. My 1st favorite part is that you can rate and comment on them. The app is easy to use. And NO ads, or if they do pop up, I don't see them. My main problem with the app is that the app is very slow. Takes a minute for everything to pop up.

The AI book recommendation feature, "Pix," ruined this app. There's an option to turn it off when you create a post asking for recommendations, but it's easy to forget to do that and most people do. People also feel less inclined to give you recommendations when they see that the AI has already done so. Now I just mostly use the app as a way to log the books I read. Also, ever since they added the AI feature, certain genre sections don't pop up anymore so you can't even recommend books properly.

This app is okay. However, Pix the ai element needs a lot of work. It's constantly recommending books that don't fit the request. Or suggesting the wrong book but the correct description. Or completely missing key elements of requests like genre, age group, or book type. Is there any way that we can give feedback on it's suggestions? How is it going to improve with no feedback?

I like it before the dark mode. They got rid of where you can find the movies and shows and cits incredibly frustrating. Considering how many people I recommended this ap to before the upgrade, don't be surprised when you lose users. It uses predictive text but shan't allow you to select the options. There are so many bugs. If you make changes, I'll rework this review. May 2024 = it's awful and worse than using google.

I would give 5 stars if these two things could be fixed. 1. You can only write a review for a show with the app, I often watch on my PC and it would be wonderful to be able to write with a full key board. 2. Stop the previews of shows or get the correct previews for the shows. This is so frustrating as when you click it, the preview starts playing, then I think, did I click on the wrong show? No, the name is right, actors is right but the preview is wrong.

First off, the app keeps freezing as soon as I open it, won't let me do anything, and then eventually shuts down. I like leaving reviews and keeping track of what I read, but this is not a good app for recommendations. Everything I've been recommended has had zero to do with what I've previously read, and is all about what's trending or new and popular. Then there's the notifications I get that say 'someone saved your rec!' Without telling me what rec it even was. Doesn't serve any purpose.
