The course handicaps are not calculating correctly, making me wonder if my overall handicap is accurate. The course handicap is inflated 5-6 strokes, giving a false impression that my net score is better than it really is. I thought some of my course handicaps were off, so I verified on the USGA site and my hunch was correct. For example , as a 17 handicap, on a par 70 course with a 65.6 rating and 110 slope, this app says my course handicap is 17. USGA says 12.

Used to Work well. They changed the format a few weeks ago. Now not as user friendly. Too many scrolling screens now. Takes longer to fill out. After game stats doesn't transfer over % of fairways hit and % of greens hit.

Should be easier to use - the cylinder selector for scores, putts, etc. is not a good choice when the options range from 1 - (say) 10. Cumbersome to score, especially for multiple people.

Best Golf app on the Play store and I've tried most. You get an recognised handicap for free!! , with the option to pay if you need a card. Stapleford points displayed at press of a button. If you want to save more than 20 scorecards it's only. 99p a year, complete bargain.

I really like this app, it has helped me to keep up with my handicap and is very easy to use - once you've saved your scorecard... it would be nice if you could broaden your list of clubs so you dont need to add the scorecards to every new course played... but overall... great app 👍🏻

Mostly fails to open. Most times when I open the app I get the whirring circle of doom with a caption that says downloading scorecards. This just carries on and usually I have to open and close a number of times. Now I generally use the website.

Decent app that does what it says. Support is non existent unless emailing support directly. Entering a new course not in the system is a bit long winded and there is a bug which doesn't allow you to change the handicap in a hole if you make an error. Minor point, default green option is hit which isn't helpful.

The app is very good, but the issue I have is when email or message them they never get back at all, also I was issued 2 cards with two whs handicap index scores both wrong and now my indexes are all over the place, my actual handicap index is 21.5 but they have it 13.6 and I know I'm not that good, I've asked for a call to sort it but no reply or call. Course handicap is different at the start and end of the round. My course handicap starts at 18 and saves as 21 after the round

Several times now I have been on the course and the app crashes meaning I lose mine and partners scores. This is really frustrating as this could be an awesome app but needs a fix. I use the Samsung s9 so I don't know if it's a compatible issue or not

Takes a little bit of getting used to, especially when updating handicap where different results can be achieved by updating after score entered. A friend managed to get 0.9 of a shot back which shouldn't be possible by selecting his last 3 rounds instead just of allowing the app to update.

App constantly crashes / won't open. Shame as will need to enter scores into another app now to get the handicap calculation. Thanks for responding: when open app get 'scorecards downloading' message with spinning circle. This spins for a long time then get message MOGC isn't responding and need to close app. Pixel 5 fully up to date.

It's mostly great but the latest update is a real pain because you have to use a drop-down menu to input scores rather than just typing in the numbers as before. So now recording a score is far more time-consuming, which is annoying! Update: Having added this review, I then discovered the "add score only" toggle which allows you to type scores in. D'oh! To their credit, the developers also read this comment and took the time to (very politely) point this out too. Mea culpa... it's a very good app!

Useful-ish. Calculates handicap OK, shows correctly when I set up a round/enter scores. When I save the round and look back my handicap has been changed. Help bot/contact doesn't work either.

It has major drawbacks in use. It is let down by continual instabilities that deletes scores and changes playing handicaps. The scores should be held on non-volatile memory to avoid loss on app crashes. I emailed the support address but got a reply saying that they were too busy playing to address my support ticket! Great!

I like the way you can set up a competition with your friends and they can put there score cards in so you can see the results. I gave it 4 stars because the app freezes sometimes so I have to restart my phone. I have noticed at my local golf Course Abbey Hill there are score cards on this site which has the score index on the wrong holes and a par 70 which it should be a par 71 .

I've been playing golf for a long time but never established a handicap. This is the year. The app is easy to move around in. Most of the courses are loaded. A couple of the military courses I play are not, but it was easy to input the data. I've been using the app for about six months, maybe less, i now know my handicap and can feel comfortable getting into events without being a sandbagger or putting myself at an unfair disadvantage.
