This equalizer app will not work if you start it while other equalizers are running,
so you need to start it according to the following procedure.
1. Completely stop both the GlycoX app and other equalizer apps.
1.1 For apps that cannot be terminated from notifications (some apps do not issue notifications)
Press and hold the icon to "force stop" on the "App information" screen.
2. Launch the GlycoX app.
===== For users with Android 10 or later =====
On Android 10 or later, you can enjoy music with the best sound by adjusting the Compressor.
The effector consists of Pre EQ --> Compressor --> Post EQ --> Limiter in this order.
1. How to easily increase the bass using Compressor (first try it at 62Hz, which is easy to hear)
- Lower the value of Pre Gain.
- Increase the value of Post Gain.
- Slightly lower the Ratio value.
- Increase Threshold a little.
(First of all, try moving the Seek Bar of these four parameters slowly left and right to feel the change in sound.)
2. The following is an example of how to adjust Post EQ at the end.
Step1. Set the Post EQ preset to FLAT.
Step2. Set all Compressor and Limiter presets to Default. (Don't set In Gain and Out Gain too high, just set them to about 0.
Step3. change Pre EQ, Pre Gain, and Post Gain to your favorite values for each frequency. Adjust the Ratio and Threshold as necessary.
Step4. increase the volume to the desired level with Out Gain. If necessary, adjust the In Gain.
Step5. Adjust Post EQ if necessary.
3. Operation mode
From v1.6.6, the following two operation modes are selectable.
- Standard
This mode was used until v1.5.6.
- Deep
This mode is for deep bass. It is effective to adjust the volume by lowering the In Gain and moderately increasing the Out Gain, Loudness, and Volume.
If you increase the In Gain too much, the bass effect will be reduced.
First, try adjusting the Pre Gain, Post Gain, and Pre EQ up or down at the default setting of 31Hz to feel the effect that could not be created with Standard.
(Note: The Bass Boost knob cannot be used in this mode.)
If you use Android 10 or later, you may not want to use Bass Boost as much as possible.

Notes:
To exit the app completely, you need to exit from notifications.
Loudness, In Gain, and Out Gain values will not be saved after quitting the app.
Extreme settings may cause sound crack. Please enjoy this app with moderate settings and volume at your own risk.

You can really dial-a-song in if you have a good set of headphones or studio monitors this application works really well I wish it was a little bit more convenient to switch back and forth between the music player and the graphic EQ something where you could keep the graphic EQ on top so that you can switch if you want to change the song but that would be my only complaint I would ask for more frequencies also to be able to work with because there is some rumble that can't be gotten rid of

The volume out gain and in do not save. They reset on app close. Only reason not perfect 5. Hands down, no comparison best android eq in exhistance. I have tested a dozen. This one is exactly what you have been looking for. The name is goofy perhaps but this is a professional eq. A must ! Should be reviewed on youtube by bassheads and car audio testers. It gets down ya big dummies ! ! !

Very good! EQ unlike other apps I've tried is actually more than the standard 4-6. I can actually hear the definition and presence of the bass with a set of ear buds that only produce midrange and highs despite the amount of bass boosting I applied previously. The look is more simplistic and not flashy, which I like and the volume/loudness/bass boost controls are very responsive.

S10 Andriod 12 low audio quality fix !!! I updated to Andriod 12, and the music quality got low and muffled on it. However, this app is a true 10 band eq that gives you that deep sub bass and crystal clean highs. V shape sound is what I love and this gave me back that sound signature and more. Also, this app does make the whole audio playback louder as well. I guess it has an amplifier like Power Amp app. All in all, this is definitely the best EQ out here !!!

I've tried over a dozen EQ apps. This one carries the most promise. It's no-nonsense and to the point, with bands down to 31hz. It also has a preamp option so you can lower the dB pre-output if you've increased the bass. This negates distortion. Only problem with the app is you can't pay to remove ads, which I'd happily do. Technically you can revoke all network access to the app from your phone settings to remove ads. But to the developer: let me pay you!

This is truly, truly, truly one Badass app that deserves the top spot above any other (to me) - and believe me I've tried almost all of them. Stumbled upon it by accident!?!? There's so many different settings of various ranges that would make even the worst speaker sound good. You just have to play with it a bit and become familiar with the challenges. Exactly what I was looking for. Actually works on everything. Not just the chosen few apps. One of the few that actually have bands. Most are only 4-6. Helps alot in hearing background sounds that are hidden withing close frequencies. The type a noise reducer erases with the static sound. Still have rhe static, but can lower it and boost what you need to hear.

By far the best dynamic equalizer. Has every option, and works like it is supposed too. You may need to study up on your mixing skills, because there are are so many variables. Works well for many platforms. From small wireless speakers, to full range large speaker systems. I don't think I have even explored all of the capabilities of it yet. This is no BS!

Exactly works! At first it seemed very subtle but I was listening to a very high res file with not too much intrument ation. But then, I definitely did notice the changes. I'm an audiophile I usually like to hear the recordings how they recorded, but sometimes, some recordings need help. This is cool to have fun and adjust your music when needed or just feel like doing something a little different. Thank you so much.

This app is so well made and straight to the point. It does exactly what it advertises and is said to do and it does it great. It also contains some settings I've not seen on other apps, not even poweramp quite to the depth its applied in here; and that's saying something. It's even better that it doesn't charge or is overloaded with ads.

I have a pixel 3A phone and this program adds a nice equalizer control that affects all apps running on my phone. One of the things that I hated about Spotify was that they have no mixer control and now I can use this program to make it sound great. You can also use it to boost audio for videos that are playing too softly. I highly recommend it.

Phenomenal app, it has such great customization and is a great intro to sound mixing. However, if I have one complaint, it is that access to unsafe listening levels is available 24/7, I wish there were a warning on the input and output knobs about safe listening or even a live decibel monitor. Other than that, I highly recommend this program over other popular applications on the Play Store.

I've been running sound a very long time professionally. As far as a phone app goes extremely impressive. I will warn everyone if you don't have a good amount of knowledge as to compressors and what it does and when it's necessary. Do yourself a favor and stick to just the eq. I have a 12 part rack mount recording system that barely gives me as much control as this. The best by a landslide I've had the pleasure of using. But again it can and absolutely will get away stick to eq

All I can say is wow. I've been using the eq on my poweramp app (Paid version) for years, but this thing outperforms by a wide margin. I don't knock poweramp at all, they are my go-to player for years, but these old ears of mine cant' believe how good all my bluetooth devices sound... and the presets are perfect. Keep up the great work - but please don't screw with perfection! Thanks

This is probably one of the best audio apps I have ever had! It works for literally everything including over Bluetooth. I have so many issues with trying to get my music volume high enough in my car via my phone and nothing has given me a crisp clear sound with high volume, not without paying, until this app. So many different ways to customize your sounds and volumes. I love this app honestly.

So after doing a few research came up on this app. Over a decade I used Power Amp which was great at the time. Thanks to the developers for this, making this free, I tested this today with a few headphones. From Skullcandy, power beats to my studio beats,and tested it today at the gym with a JLab Pro true wireless which made a huge difference. Was able to get lost in my music and get in zone. Most music I listen to are edm and sometimes it's lower volume, so this app makes a huge change

I do live sound mixing for a living, and this app is alot of fun. I watch YouTube all the time,and there are a few things that I would change, but it would be really handy to the real time analyzer available as a translucent overlay to see what is going on audio wise. Otherwise it's useless because to adjust eq and other things, I have to go out of YouTube, into your app to adjust parameters, and then back into YouTube. I hope that makes sense to you. This is a great option for casual listening to entry level studio control. Your format is so easy to understand and apply. The sound is clean and crisp. ( Except I find the 3D Function only adds distortion to pre-recorded music.) My, Suggestion... Turn knob off! Then turn the volume knob up to 3/4. This is a very well thought out and executed app. The controls are very precise and accurate. If you like to do your own recording. it's basically a Mini studio, right in your hands.

From my phone, I have several Bluetooth audio devices and this EQ. Is necessary for adjusting the music as each device needs fine tuning. I do not use anything else such as compression & gain, etc. Unfortunately, the sound is like the "volume is rapidly going up and down slightly" on all my speaker devices. Very annoying.

I only rated this Eq at 3 stars because I've only played with it a few minutes. I'm a soon to be 69 years young with 60+ years as a musician. This Eq performs well once to calm it down and set it up your way. Fine tune it. Watch the gains. There's a sweet spot. Substitute exclusive volume for maximum clarity/boost. I like the 10 band feature of this app. If it was me I'd consider a little delay added to the mix.
