I have been using the FitIndex app for a few years now and have had no complaints. It even links to my FitBit. The only weird thing I noticed lately is a battery low symbol on the app below my weight, in the circle where the Bluetooth icon should be. I changed the Aaa batteries in the scale and it's still there. I also tested the batteries, and they're fine. My app is up to date it's just weird.

I agree there's no reason to have the location. I read the explanation and it still shows me it is not a requirement. I have a lot of other Bluetooth devices and this is the only time I have come across ble. I just won't be using the app and just use the scale for weight until they stop requiring it. Edit: i have a Google pixel 4

I've been using this for 6 months. I've dropped 40 lb while in use of this scale, increased my muscle mass (essentially from a 290 bench to a 345 to help visualize the change). You can see noticeably on my body a mass muscle increase between my old photos and new photos even with clothes on it is very noticeable. The app trends themselves do not reflect this (shy of 2% change). Data that is measured from my doctor and nutritionist do reflect this (over 20%). Weight measurement seems accurate tho

After years of using this app. All of the sudden when I open it, a safety screen pops up. I have tried everything to get it to go away. Including uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The screen will not go away so that I can no longer use any of the in app options. I can't track my trends.I can't see anything other than my weight.

Trends are displayed in time, with all data points linearly spaced... even if I took data at different times in the day...or on different days. This is extremely silly, because I can get no visual information on the derivative (i.e. the rate of change). Please fix this. Also, its bs that my phone needs location services on to pair with bluetooth. My heahphones pair just fine. So, please stop harvesting my location information along with my vital statistics. Thanks.

Only one complaint/ suggestion and that is to PLEASE find a way to work with both LoseIt! And Fitbit! Fitbit scales are terrible and have constant issues. I've had your scale for two years now and have never had a problem with it connecting, setting up new users, getting data or using the app so I don't want to switch to fitbit. But I use their watch and Lose It! has the best food tracking app I've used. It would be great to have all this info work together!

Need to invest in a website to view stats like the leading companies do. App does not sync and customer service puts you straight to voicemail. Using android 10. Bluetooth is on. Reinstalled app, rebooted phone, paired and unpaired device. Received scale yesterday, synchronized immediately then it took 45 minutes of troubleshooting to get it to sync again. Woke up this morning to find out won't sync again. There should be an option to force sync. No errors just completely unresponsive.

The safety precautions page now comes up whenever I open the app, with no way to remove it (x out, say okay, nothing), so I have no access to the application whatsoever. Edited to add: I read other reviews and saw I wasn't the only one with this issue. Based on their response to those complaints, I was able to remove the safety precautions screens. Note to Fit Index: As a UI/UXA developer myself, it's quite obvious that a change needs to be made here. Hopefully that is in the works. Thanks.

I've been using this app for years, and they just ruined it by adding a safety pop-up that you can't click out of and therefore can't use the app. Don't download this until it's fixed. Update: there is no indication that there are more pages how is anyone supposed to know to swipe instead of scroll? I'd suggest adding little dots at the bottom to indicate more pages. Also the email listed in the app support section is wrong.

Updating this review after having the scale a couple years and a dexa scan HUGE CONCERN FOR ME, I feel like the scale will only give you a very random idea. If you do weight training and arent 100% doing cardio its garbage. Why? Because in the 2 years I have had the scale it has NEVER showed a loss or gain without doing it in every breakdown pretty much any loss will always show you lost muscle and fat and that just isnt always the case. Same goes for a gain it automatically shows both gained.

Issues connecting to Wifi. Cannot connect to any current 5g or Wifi6 routers. I now can only record my weight when the app is opened and in front of the scale. I used to be able to weigh myself anywhere in the house, and the wifi would register my weight without having to be there with my phone and app opened. Syncing will stop at 20 and 90% and fail every time.

Thank you for replying. By lowering the screen font size I was able to regain access to my installation. The T&C panel can be escaped by horizontal scrolling to the right. I couldn't see the small dot indicators below it as they were cut off due to my increased font size and was confused as to how to continue. Please include explicit instructions in the T&C to scroll to the right so future users are not confused like I was. Thank you.

This app is straight trash. I've had this for almost two years now, and (at least on Android) Bluetooth will sync the biometrics maybe once out of every 10 updates. Then you'll get another update that breaks it yet again. Absolutely NO excuse for this. You need to stop blaming EVERYONE ELSE for this not working. Zero stars if I could! Will be recommending on Amazon and everywhere else that NO ONE purchase any of this sellers scales. USELESS

I love the app and how it tracks everything related to my body! So far I've lost approximately 90 pounds - I was 245, now I'm nearing 150! I love the insights it gives you. Glad I purchased this scale from Amazon! Soooo worth it! The app never crashes either. I've been using it for a year and never had any issues connecting to my phone and never had any issues with my phone connecting to my Fitindex scale. Great product - Definitely recommend!

The app is normally really useful, especially when linked to the scale. Unfortunately, it displays two screens and locks up. Fortunately, Fitindex support let me know that there are multiple screens that you access by swiping left. I'm an old computer person, so swiping randomly on a screen without directions doesn't come naturally.

I am having the same pop-up screen issue after using the app successfully for years. There is no way to scroll out or 'x' out of the screen, and I am unable to use the app. This should be fixed asap. As someone else mentioned, the wrong support email address is listed, and I got a mailer daemon reply, and that's just from clicking the email link provided. Thanks the 'x' now appears as it didn't appear when I originally wrote this review.

UPDATE: App Support responded very quickly. Though you cannot tell because the first screen doesn't scroll down far enough. You just need to swipe left to get to the next screen in the series. Now that it is fixed I have updated to 5 stars. I love this app and scale! ...Recent update on 4/23/24 has rendered the app completely useless! You get a pop-up regarding safety that you cannot scroll through to get to the bottom and therefore, cannot go any further.

Now (April 28, 2024), it has some window or sign asking one to pair the app with the scale even after it is already paired with the app. I can use it, and it does register the weight and everything. However, I can't get rid of the little window, and the app gets stuck with its notification. The only way to close it is from pressing the home button and closing it. The back button WON'T work and gets stuck in that setting. This happened since last update. Made mistake with saying it was safety.

Great app! Pairing was very easy and allow me to commend the developers because they included a proper guest mode where it doesn't require login and not even internet. So far so good, I haven't seen ANY data try to leave my device and if it is then it's not failing because I have data blocked for the app (as I do with most apps by default). Many of these "free" apps tend to be data privacy traps but this one seems to be above board 👏

I have had this scale for a few years now, and I keep telling myself to get a new one. I put it on a flat, hard surface and stand on it. I can't stand perfectly still, I human, I tend to wiggle some. The scale picks up on that, and I can make myself whatever weight I want. It can go between 25-35 lbs with hardly any movement. It's good it's trying to be accurate, but that's extreme. New batteries don't help, and holding the wall to steady yourself doesn't do anything.
