I had used this on hikes in Austria and I found it to be very reliable. It also works very well and very accurately in Canada where I live. So much better than Google etc for off-trail areas. No annoying ads. I have now used it in Australia with very accurate results.

The data is amazing. I had a small issue with speed but I understood that it arises when I have the developer setting "Don't keep activities" activated. It is not relevant for most users and I updated my review accordingly.

Loved it at first but now i paid for pro and tracking doesn't work properly anymore, regardless if my screen is on or off. I'm really disappointed that the free version almost worked better with it's limitations Edit: tehy fixed the problem, then it worked well for a month and now I still have problems being tracked when my phone screen is off..

Unfortunately not running stable. Tracking stops for no obvious reason. Sometimes you are notified that tracking stopped, and asked whether you would like to continue tracking. But clicking Yes doesn't actually continue the tracking either. Very strange, and annoying. App is listed among those that shall not stop for battery saving. I'm using it on an S9+.

I really liked this app but all the recent updates frustrate me. Here's why: - I used to be able to move the dot on the map and place it somewhere else. Doing this I could immediately see how it would route me, that was so good. This seems not possible anymore. - when I choose cycling and safe my route it changes it to hiking and I cannot change this anywhere. I can also not name it myself as it just picks a road name. - it seems to lead me on a lot of highway like roads which is frustrating.

Very buggy off late! Screen gets stuck and app becomes unresponsive. Everytime another app is opened, it automatically closes! Also when the app is still on and the screen gets locked automatically. Please fix these issues. Also on the website, you removed the access to the full map. That sucks even more!

I have tried many others, but still this is the best for me. I use it for navigation in the forest seamlessly , so if you need a navigator with a detailed map, you should go no further. I have subscribed for pro, because I needed the off-line map option, which is essential in some areas. Again, the map not only good, but the best of all have seen. The Web site is not so worked out, but the program on the phone is worth it.

I use the App for a year or two PRO version. I love the app, would give 5 stars, but lately there is a problem with location, it takes a lot of time to pin point where i am. Also it would be better to improve the stability of the App and dont fill it with unessesary functions. Also make more Tours for slovenia if possible. Overall i Love the App, nice Job!!

Was using this app so much the last year, but have to give it just one star now. The track is not correct, not saving the total track and often not working right. The Bergfex keep telling me to mail them and when I do (with screenshot) I don't get any helpful answers. I was pro user and now I had to pay for one more year, but they ware telling me that they know there was some problems, but they a working on a new ski app, so they dont have time to help the pro user!?!???? So I'm NOT a pro user anymore!!!?

In DE: 1. "Navigate" option doesn't provide any navigation. 2. Trip planning isn't straight forward as there is no option to add waypoints. Only multiple destinations which require reordering them manually. 3. When "navigating" it's too ease to get into different saved track or screen. 4. Not all maps available in DE even if the subscription price is the same. 5. Some shown paths don't exist in real world. 6. On 30km trip total ascent has 450% inacurracy. 7. Too expensive considering all issues

I paid for this application and there is a huge need for improving the user surface. Whenever I switch to another application it stops tracking or sometimes it even loses the route and it's hard to track it back again. Sometimes it works without a flaw, but if you need to make changes on your pre-planned route because of circumstances it confuses the app. I would love to have more straightforward functions and not s confusing route planning, easier saving of routes and better and more buttons.

Theoretically I like the app and it's features very much. In the past I used the free version and was very happy with it. Now the zoom level is to low if you don't pay. I paid for the yearly subscription and hoped, some of the bugs would be gone... There are not. Very often the map freezes or the back button just closes the whole app. I hope it doesn't fail us during a trip on top of a mountain...

A very good app, with possibility the best maps I've encountered so far (clean, crisp, graphically pleasing, with near 3D feel). Altitude data most accurate of all navigation apps I've tried. Works great with Garmin, not sure about other brands. The only thing that bothers me is the occasional mix of German and English language, but let's hope the developers will eventually work out this glitch.

Nice app! I used the free version for two years and then bought the pro version. Good value for money. When I had a problem (the app didn't record the track anymore), I sent a mail to Bergfex and I was promptly helped. Turned out, that de default settings in the newly installed Android version had caused my problem. Great help, much appreciated :-) !!

Your application looks very interesting and complete. However, it has very few informations on walks and is not adapted to all ages.

actually great app but... yesterday I was on the TET in Bosnia on motorbike. My phone died and after restarting I just got a black screen when I tried to open the "offline" map. For some reason the app needs an internet connect., probably to confirm I bought it, Whoever has any idea about this country, the TET and the wildlife can imagine how damn lost I was... I managed to get back to civilization after 3 hours of driving through the forest after sun set. I will talk to an lawyer about that...
