I love the content on the channel and its not overpriced. After the free trial i was hooked on a few shows and great selection of black movies i can relate to. Only thing is the app & website dont play full screen on my chrome cast connected to my tv so it makes it hard to watch except on my phone & laptop. App & video player needs work

The app itself gets 1 star. I can't login 2nd day into the free trial. Uninstalled reinstalled, turned my phone on and off, it Doesn't play in background when it was working that would've been great, also only one ff speed which sucks when every episode starts from the beginning no matter where you stopped watching the episode. I love the content but the app is no. Uninstalling and deleting subscription

this is a complete spam!!!! This app/subscription will not let you cancel. I have tried emailing to cancel the ssubscription. And it has not worked even if you go in to change your billing information it says this page no longer exist. I had to finally call my bank and cancel my card to stop the subscription that way. Please do not sign up for this foolishness.

My experience with this app started out good until I tried to watch a show I liked from the beginning of the season and it started at a Season 3. Not only that, when I did find a show I really liked and it started from season 1 it had 100 commercials 🤬🥱. I like the app for the movies and shows but can't enjoy them because of the commercials. So please reduce or remove them.

At first I was enjoying this app. It had some good shows but not enough content now that I'm trying to cancel its taking so long! It's asking for unnecessary information when I can provide my information so that you can find my account to CANCEL my subscription! The email listed is even wrong. U can't contact anyone on this app! I'm having trouble with my roku trying to cancel this subscription, it's ridiculous! Y'all make it so hard purposely for yall to be GREEDY!

If I could leave nothing I would. I signed up so I could watch specific shows, the rest of the shows are garbage!! I tried to sign in and couldn't, tried to change my password and couldn't! Emailed support saying I couldn't sign in and I couldn't cancel my subscription, they sent an email back (5 or 6 days later) saying my subscription was canceled but I have a charge pending from them as I'm typing this message. Emailed support again and they have yet to get back to me. DO NOT SIGN UP!

I wasn't even able.to watch a single show. I signed up for m free trial and when I went to login on the app it acted as if my password was incorrect. After trying to reset my password multiple times even using the temporary password that was given to me it still didn't work. At this time I just want to cancel my subscription before I even get charged because of I'm having this many problems trying to simply login I can't imagine the trouble I'm would have if I actually did.

Do NOT Sign Up! I have not watched one thing on this app yet. However, they make the sign up process easy yet the cancellation process is extremely difficult. YOU CANNOT cancel via the app. You must go online to the website and if you get through Google Play you must go there to cancel. I have quite a few apps because I cut the cable cord 3 years ago and I have NEVER had so much trouble cancelling an app.

I just got the subscription and watched 3 episodes so far of a TV show. One horrible thing is it does not start the nest episode. U have to constantly pull app up to start next episode. Second major thing is it's constantly buffering. None stop. A 30 min episode is taking about an hr to watch. I been trying to give it the benefit of the doubt but I am already wanting to cancel my subscription. This is very annoying app to use right now.

Tried to cancel via the app, but it wouldnt show me where to do it. I thought about how tricky folks can be, so I went to their website and low and behold, that's where I found the stupid "My Account" tab. I cancelled that raggedy mess and came right back here to help my fellow people! Go to the website (not the app) Look on the top right Click on "My Account " Go to cancel subscription and cancel it Make sure you screen capture where it tells you it was cancelled for your records.

This is the worst app ever. Do not subscribe. The app is hard to unsubscribe. When watching it keeps buffering. It's a lot of low budget movies you can watch for free on another app. Their customer service is horrible. I've been trying to unsubscribe for a month now. Their still charging my card. I wish I knew the umc was related to them otherwise I would have never gotten this app. I had the same problem with umc. I reached out to them and they was not helpful at all. They refuse to cancel

Some are having app crashing issues like I did at first on my Samsung 9. I rebooted my phone (corrected the problem), paid for a subscription and installed the app on my big screen Roku. Absolutely some of the best movies and series recordings I have seen yet. It's exactly what I have been looking for in black entertainment but could not find until now. No regrets so far.

Not satisfied with user interface. On the app, it does not automatically play the next episode. Also, there is no continue watching feature. I have to browse through my favorites or recently watched list to find where I left off. The app does not sync across different platforms (i.e. Roku, PlayStore, Fire TV) like other streaming apps. I like the concept and content, but since the mobile experience is mediocre at best, I will be canceling until updates are made.

The App would be great if it worked. There are really good movies. However you can't pause or rewind anything. The App keeps kicking you out so, you can't watch anything fully. Then when you add things to your watch list nothing saves. Please fix this App kind of sad it was mad to help promote black movies and shows yet it doesn't work and you're trying to charge people 😕.

Good app just didn't have many of the shows I wanted to watch. But if it did I would have kept it. Seems they have fixed the issues people complained about in the reviews which is good. It went from phone to tv good, rewinding and picking up where I left off was good too. I was also able to cancel after my free trial with no issues but had to access my account on phones web browser not the app.

Wow. Don't get this app through Google play. Get through Amazon subscription. You cant cancel on Google play and its more expensive on here. I received the same email about cancellation every one else is referring to it came out of nowhere because I was still within the 7 days free trial. I was still able to watch the shows on the app though which was weird.

Plays fine on my phone but I need to be able to cast on my TV at home. How else can I be expected to binge all night and all weekend? When I cast, the app connects to my TV and I get the intro screen, but nothing plays. It's just the screen. So I have to watch something else. I really don't want to cancel, but I need this app to be fully functional. Please fix this bug!!

The app keeps cutting off every 30 minutes or so on my firestick in the middle of watching movies. Then the app on my phone won't load. I contacted UMC and they tried to tell my operating system was new enough, I have a Note 10+ and to uninstall and reinstall the app. Tried that twice STILL DOESN'T WORK. Tried that method on the firestick, still shuts off. I really wanted to watch some of the things on this app. I'll be canceling. It's crazy how they blame it on the devices, no other apps have

I got it through the free trial. The advertisement stated how long the trial was and the MONTHLY rate. So, I said to myself, even if I forget to cancel, it's cheap. Lies. After the trial, I was charged the ANNUAL fee. The customer service is very bad. I will be back with the phots of email exchange. Over all, the app only works on my phn. I can cast from my phn. But that's it. Since I HAVE to cast it would be nice if there was an option to continue to the next series etc. This is not worthit

So I downloaded this app yesterday and had no trouble logging in on my phone. I also downloaded the app to one of my Roku tvs and also had no trouble logging in. I have been able to watch one show (12 episodes) and now beginning my next series. My only dislike(s)/complaint(s) thus far are 1) the site loads extremely slow and even caused my TV to restart and 2) I noticed the words playing and character lips were not in sync for about a minute.
