More About Probability Distributions

Continuous probability distributions:
- Normal (Gaussian)
- t (Student's t)
- Chi-Squared
- F
- Exponential
- Gamma
- Beta
- Log-normal
- Weibull
- Uniform

Discrete probability distributions:
- Binomial
- Poisson
- Pascal (Negative Binomial)
- Geometric
- Hypergeometric
- Discrete Uniform

You can now calculate confidence intervals for "Both", "Middle", "Lower" and "Upper" tails. For example, if you want to find the 95% confidence interval of a Normal Distribution:
1. first select "Normal" distribution and select "Middle"
2. then enter "0.95" on the right side of the probability values
3. From and to values will be automatically calculated for you (-1.96, 1.96 in this case)

Easy to use and lag free software...

there are forcing stat students to buy the ti 84 for 110 bucks just to do half the operations this app does.

it would be better if the app remembers last entered values and opens with them

Terrible calculator. I had to use the internet to get a working distribution, this one is horrible.

Seeing the various distributions is very educational, this is spot on!

Good and usefull app. But,... Erlang and Rayleigh distributions should be added to application...

Great, easy to use app, comprehensive and flexible - already one of my favourite apps!

Wonderfully implemented, ads-free, flexible, and easy to use!

Perfect! Good replacement for stat tables. One may add more distributions used in applied stat: Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Dickey Fuller, Durbin Watson, Mann Whitney etc Thanks a lot!!!

simple, it can totally help with stats and probability because the answer is already given. Easy to use. 5 star

Great mathematical app, it helps a lot to visualize most famous distributions while user can change parameters, thanks for making and sharing.

Working, yes. But, how can I input positive/negative infinity. Edit: Silly me, still learning. Thanks for the info! 5 stars!✨

Very great app. Please add the test statistic (zcore, tscore, fcalc, etc) and confidence interval. Thanks

I really liked this but maybe allow for more decimal places. Could be a setting but I can't use for my class because I need 4 decimal places.

Love it. I really just use the binomial distribution feature, but it's super handy.

It's awfully convenient having these on hand. It gets more practical use than you'd think, even if you spend more time with applied stat than with theoretical.

You can calculate probabilities on a distribution by inputing numbers or dragging points on the graph. Interface is simple. Excellent tool for calculations and understanding distributions visually. I believe this tool would be great for developing intuitive evaluations of distributions.

OMG! FINALLY! A probability calculator that actually works. Thank you. There are a lot out there that claim to calculate probability and z scores but they dont. This one actually works, though I don't think it figures out z scores, but I know how to do that on my own.

Useful since I dont have a graphics calculator, however it isn't super user friendly (no text wrapping for answers, answer goes offscreen for "both tails" mode). I'm just glad there arent that many invNorm or normalCDF questions to study. Overall pretty useful anyway, made my life easier.
