There's a new glitch causing reading plans to show the incorrect amount of missed days (I have around 9 but it keeps showing different numbers). I've marked off all the days I've completed, deleted and reinstalled the app, signed in and out and nothing works. It's a good thing I've been following the paper version of my reading plan and have my completed days checked off on that or I wouldn't be able to remember what I've done in the almost 9 months of reading my Bible! 🙃😅

well this is actually really awesome, there's a huge amount of different versions and translations of the Bible making it easy to compare and contrast. It has some pretty awesome features. I love the note-taking and highlighting features. The only thing I would really enjoy from it, granted it's not in the scope of the app's purpose. But if there was some supplemental stuff like the work of theologians and saints, as well as the study Bible versions that included maps, sermons, and essays.

The latest update of this app appears well intended, but it's less usable than before. I no longer have the list of the last 5 bibles I've looked at and to find a new version I have to scroll through a list of versions "downloaded" that are in a random order, before I can even get to the list of bibles. This is extremely frustrating! Give back the old version!! Quit messing with something that doesn't need fixing. PLEASE!!

I really like the new look and feel of the new interface/application. Seems much more contemporary and intuitive to use. One bug is that when using the play feature, the application frequently skips large passages scripture. This should really be a priority to correct. For example, this morning I was listening to James, and not one chapter finished...they all skipped to the next chapter. I'm really surprised no one seems to cate about this, and that no l one has responded.

Loved this app until recently. It will constantly freeze on me. Causing it to shut down & not save where I am at. The app was up to date, so I uninstalled and reinstalled. It worked 1 time. Now the app opens great but when I select to read the Bible tab, it does not load, just sits and spins. I am extremely disappointed because I love the variety of plans this app has to offer.

I submitted a review in Oct and very little has been fixed. This new update is terrible. The header covers 1st 2 lines of the scripture being narrated, and when just listening to scripture, halfway through a chapter the narration still skips to the next chapter. When I turn my phone from vertical to horizontal, the words are gone. The frame refreshes, but no scripture. Returning to portrait doesn't work either. The Word content is lost unless I back up and restart the chapter.

6/1/2024. Please stop messing with a good thing. Two of my three "Plans" have vanished today! You've changed so many things from a time when this was a wonderful study help; from text format, to limiting highlighter selections, which have dithered my past highlights to a point they are indistinguishable and are of a palette that nobody would choose. Go design something else and leave my favorite Bible app alone. Please.

I appreciate what the team has done to bring the Bible to the masses, but I am among the many people who are struggling with the new release. I don't like the new interface for the basics of reading the Bible, selecting passages, and navigating. When reading, it seems like I can fit only 60% of what I used to on the screen. Reading history is broken. It no longer tracks what I've recently read. Update: I switched to Blue Letter Bible, which has its own usability issues, but is better overall.

It has been well over a year since the programmers were notified of issues with the app losing the streak days. Since then the app has developed more issues that were also reported, such as the daily reminders. This may seem "trivial" to many but I took pride in my daily streak of almost 3 years until it lost it the first time, then again, and again. The daily reminders were set to keep me on schedule. Life can always be distracting so I relied on the app for consistency. It failed, repeatedly.

After the latest updates, the app is slouching a bit, performance-wise (not talking about the Holy Bible and its writers). The plans sometimes wouldn't keep up even after I've already finished them them daily, the letters and words are not completely aligned, and sometimes the offline fonts aren't agreeing with me on my little projects; in other words, it has a few bugs in it. Other than that, the app still works with me for years. Keep on moving on.

I always loved this Bible app, but I am not happy with the update. The change of the reader on the NLT came to a surprise for me and how it doesn't play the music in the background anymore. It makes me sad bcuz it was so soothing to me. Trying to get use to the change. The new reader has a nice voice just he reads it to slow and has to long of a pause in between text. I don't understand why they had to change it. It was great the way it was. Really miss the music and also the character change.

I wish with the new update the tracking while listening would be accurate. It scrolls many verses ahead. It mates is so difficult to follow along while listening. I also wish it would track what part of the day in the plan you are in when reading like before the updates. Will update and change to higher rating when fixed. Updated 5/6/24 To a one star review. I dislike how it is not keeping track of my reading plans. I click that I've read the chapter but it unselects it. PLEASE FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!

The customization (font size and colors especially) make it much easier to read than a paper book with small print. And the dyslexic font option allows so many more people to read the Bible with less struggle. Also love that there's lots of versions and you can sort books alphabetically if you don't know the order. It's accessible, easy to use, and tailored specifically to your needs!

the new version degraded the usability. I have to select both a chapter and a verse number to get to the text. In the past, I only need to select a chapter number. when the app reads the text, only the verse being read is highlighted. other verses become too dim to see. The app also can no longer remember the versions I frequently use like the old app did.

It has a lot of features.. I'd argue too many features, making the app seem cluttered and complicated. If you desire to use many of the features, even something basic as highlighting verses, you're required to sign in. They also share your name and information to other parties. I received a notification that if I want to use the NKJV offline, their publisher requires that they have access to your name and information.. No thanks. That's suspicious. I'll stick to my book, I guess.

It's everything I need, but just short of perfect. If you could add "hyperlinks" or whatever they're called, to the verse references included next to certain verses in certain translations. For example how James 1:2 references Matt 5:12 among others. It'd be convenient to just be able to click Matt 5:12 among others and just jump to the verse rather than having to "fish for it".

I love it, except that no matter when I set the push notifications for the daily verse, it always comes later and later in the day- I just want to start my day with the verse, and after a month and a half it's notifying me at 4:30pm. It's really unhelpful, but besides this- I love the different versions and fonts- I would recommend it!

This is usually an AMAZING app! Tons of good content like daily verses, devotions, pictures, streak tracker etc. More languages and translations available for download then you're ever heard of, and the ability to switch between them almost seamlessly. I've been using this app for years, have seen it grow and change along the way, and have been very impressed with what I've seen. However, the last several updates have made the audio bibles really glitchy. This is a necessary feature for me now.

Currently, this specific Bible App crashes frequently! Blame it on the new version you all upgraded to. I have never had these many issues in previous years. Time for well-overdue maintenance to this specific Bible app!! The audio and the scriptures are not always aligned. I have been using this app for over a decade now and have always loved it. It is not always user-friendly. It's a little difficult to Maneuver through the specific books and scriptures I have read out loud every day.

Obviously a great app. But with the constant attempts at upgrading it they neglect the seamless use of it. So it always skips around changing chapter randomly and other stuff if you turn off your phone or text someone ect. The auto-scrolling feature it's the worst of all though because you're not allowed to look forward while listening to the audio without the entire app glitching. Would love it if yall just made it work right then, and only then, can you pursue fancy upgrades. God Bless!
