I like this app and wanted to try it with a subscription. I thought i was getting the subscription pr month - i wanted to really try it first.. but I was just charged for 1 full year. Edit: the costumer service was amazing and helped me strait away so i was able to get the subscription i wanted.

Why do all these apps starts directly into teaching me words instead of getting me familiar with the characters first, how am I supposed to learn vocabs that I can't freaking read damnit. Though the pronunciation is a good thing to have since Thai is a fonatic language and pronunciation is hard to get without someone showing you first. Please add a characters teaching section like Duolingo have

this app is really helpful. it's more fun to learn with this app than formal learning but of course formal learning is way more effective. this app helps to memorize things that have been learned in formal learning. highly recommended👍👍👍

It's an easy and motivating way to learn Thai, but a lot of technical problems. Speaking lessons needs for each word/sentence in average 5 tries because of the technical issues and this means this feature is useless at all.

Good to learn new words but when it goes to quiz sometimes the answers given are both wrong and we can't move forward without choosing one not even skip it. So if we want to continue the lesson we need to choose an answer(even though we know it's the wrong one) otherwise we have to stop the lesson and say goodbye to new words...You need to fix this!

This app has a similar interface like duolingo but in my opinion it is a bit better. I like that you can do individual speaking and writing lessons. My only complain is that I wish there was a place with grammar tips like pronouns so I can look back at it. I just started using the app so I can't say if it actually helpful in helping you learn Thai fluently but it is a fun way to start learning the language.

Excellent language learning application, so far. The teaching lessons are very enjoyable and navigation of the app is simple. Although just beginning I hope to finish what the app has to offer and move forward to an intermediate and possibly expert course. Thank you very much.

*Updated* I am totally unable to buy this product, at least at the price offered in the app ($54.99). I was told to go to the Ling website to purchase, but they want 80 bucks there, and I won't pay that much. There is some problem with Google (what a surprise). I have written Ling and sent pictures of Google's error messages. I've done all I can, guys. Not paying $80. Sorry. Good app, though. The Ling people are trying to help me, though, and I appreciate that.

This is definitely one of my favorite apps to use for learning Thai. Yes it is pricey but it's definitely worth it especially if you can do one payment for lifetime access. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. They have loads to units to work from and if you use multiple programs like I do it makes for excellent review and helps with spelling. There were definitely some problems at first but the team was very patient, worked with me, and got back to me quickly to fixed it.

it was very helpful in learning useful sentences and vocabulary. I used it after studying the Thai alphabet with other apps. I think that was necessary. this app might have been hard otherwise. it was deceptive. it says it is free, but then hits you with an expensive cost to go past the first lessons

Edit: Hands down best Thai learning app currently available. I love that some is trying to make a Duolingo style app for Thai, it's greatly needed. But the lessons trying to spell out Thai sentences using English letters, please remove that. It doesn't teach me anything and it's super confusing, even for me who already speaks conversational Thai.

I love this app, using it for Thai. My only two suggestions for improvement are: 1. The dialogue exercises show you the dialogue, then one word is removed that you must remember. The problem is the omitted word is rarely one of the words taught throughout the lesson and almost always a pronoun. If you can remember pronouns, then the play dialogue is not very helpful. 2. The default pronoun for "me" in most other activities is female (di-chan). Male (phom) isnt used and Im a male.

I like the learning format as well as all the pictures, but the technical support is completely absent. I bought the full version. One problem though, it will not allow me to login using my email I have to press skip login everytime. That's not really a problem except for it only allows me to download the first page of vocabulary, then one topic on the second page works, and the rest will not download. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No change. I sent their tech team from their main website a couple technical support requests, but they have never contacted me back. I felt like I wasted my money purchasing the full version of this app.

Finally a good Thai app! Unfortunately a lot of things about this app should be improved. However, a lot of screens don't have a feedback button. In fact, the screens with a feedback button are all quite good. But pretty much all of the screens without a feedback button needs some serious improvement.

Great things: tons of content, with speaking, writing, and mostly reading practices. Easy, pretty interface. The most comprehensive app for learning Thai. Things that need drastic improvement: the speaking exercises are maddening, literally. It cuts off in the middle of my speaking, gives me zero when I must've gotten some things right, and just inconsistently penalizes me for nothing. I can't ever get top grade. Would be nice to get randomized exercises too, esp. when I get something wrong.

I have used this app for years to help with my Thai speaking and learning. It's very well organized. The lessons are short, and the conversational aspect gives you an opportunity to hear spoken Thai and mimic the tone and pace (or slow it down if you prefer). You can go back and revisit lessons as many times as you need. It also has stages of organization to help you navigate more complex concepts with the language. Overall, Master Ling has been a huge asset in helping me meet my goals!

Need refund of google play store purchase of subscription. Ling won't acknowledge that you're subscribed if you sign up for the subscription via the app, and it will block your access to the full content. However, I was charged twice for the yearly subscription amount even without access to all the content. I then went to their their website instead and subscribed monthly to see if that would work. It did, but I still need a refund for yearly app charges. Already sent email to support. No reply

The app works great! I've been using it every day to brush up on my Thai. I love being able to practice speaking it and listening to the conversations. There's two things I want to address. First, when I finish a speaking quiz, it'll say good job, but won't give me the crown. I'm glad that it's hard, but I wish it told me what percentage I need to say right to get that👑. Second, I wish there was a tab where you can look at all the letters and vowels so I can practice reading phonetically.

It's a great app, but I wish explanations of sentence structure were available throughout the lessons. Not just displayed once. I wish I could select a set of characters and have a translation of that term. For example, I don't understand the difference between aa-yuu and bpen in Thai. I can't Google a definition since those are not characters in the Thai language. I should be able to select the term and have an explanation available. Need options for masculine/feminine or formal/informal.

It's excellent. If you have a little Thai background, this app will really help you learn a lot more! But I contacted company twice per integrated link and got no response. My question is, does my Play purchase carry over to a new phone (they said it does - but not between Android and Apple). Finally, they replied, saying they did not get my email provided by the application's link. They need to fix the link, or start replying in timely fashion. Fair enough. But the program itself is great!
