From the makers of the award-winning Star Realms® Deckbuilding Game, Hero Realms® combines the fun of deckbuilding games with the interactivity of trading card game-style combat. As you play, use Gold to add new actions and champions to your deck. When played, those actions and champions generate powerful effects, give you additional gold, and attack your opponent and their champions. If you reduce your opponent's health to zero, you win!
[Non-Collectible Deck Building Game]
Hero Realms does not require you to collect new cards. You start every game with a basic deck, and will acquire cards from the shared center row to build up your deck and defeat your opponent. Victory rewards skill, and not your collection of rare cards!
[Level Up Your Heroes]
Create a hero from one of several classes (free players start with the Fighter and Wizard available). Level them up with new skills, abilities and equipment, and take them to battle in thrilling Online PVP. Hero Realms uses fair match making, only allowing matches between equal levelled heroes. However, if you feel daring, you can choose to engage in combat against higher levelled opponents for additional XP and bragging rights.
[Cooperative Online Play]
Hero Realms also features online co-operative play. Battle against challenging AI bosses with another human player as a partner. Free players have access to the Pirate Lord mission, with other co-op missions available with the Base Set purchase.
[Single Player Campaign]
For offline play, take on the Welcome to Thandar campaign. Fight your way through scripted, story-based chapters against varied AI opponents.

It's shocking to see no reviews for this game as it is a fantastic deckbuilder. The cards are all solidely designed and the core gameplay loop with the market at the middle of the table keeps every game feeling fresh and different! Edit: While not exactly P2W they've added stuff which can't be bought with money directly, but you need *gems*, which all come in inconvenient packages. Very manipulative and overpriced for a 10 dollar game. Very sad to see how a game I loved has developed.

This game is exactly like the tabletop version with a few slight and fun additions with creating a hero giving the player a few more abilities, also a great way to familiarize yourself with the rules of the game and strategies that can be helpful when playing with friends in person, love it!

Great Card Game! For the small cost this game offers a lot of replayability, online pvp play, and even a weekly league table. Plus there's even a single player campaign.

I like the game after all I love deck building games but there's a problem in your log in system everytime I tried to put my login code it's say "invalid" even it's it correct that reason I never got log in, I hope you fix it soon

Great game, ruined by bugs. It's a great implementation of a well loved game which I thoroughly enjoy playing. However, this game is bugged to the point of being unplayable. The Play vs AI campaign crashes and I can't proceed past level 5. Pit Fight is similarly bugged with each of the 6 slots getting stuck. Syncing to the cloud is bugged, and gets out sync, from which it can't recover and just hangs trying. Such a shame. I'll come back in 3 months and hope they've fixed the basics.

Don't play this. Buy the real card game. - real-time gameplay is with Bots, not humans. -match making is trash because you get placed with the only 3 guys with the same name fighting you, no lifers. - lost 100% of my real-time games to bots and repeated draws, the shuffler is poorly programmed. The -level up system is broken and forces you to play with high levels and max level cards. Unbalanced. -ive won more games in real life than whoever program this trash...

Really great to see it as an app as I love playing the real thing. Really don't like they force characters on you though. I have the expansion and it never drew me in like the base game. Would be nice if there was options to not play with characters and the true base deck. Would have been 5/5 if it wasn't for the characters

I wanted to love the app version but it plays so slow and most of the players drag the game out and matches take forever. Turn timers need to be cut in half and not extended each time they make a move. Hard limits for people to actually take their turns would fix most of the problems with the game

The IRL card game is GREAT. But that's about the only good thing about this mobile port. The UI is dated and clunky. The full game is basically paid in AT LEAST 3 (not cheap) amounts. And you pay for ? POORLY BALANCED UPGRADES. Seriously, why did you have to ruin a very well balanced game ? Those class powers and items you get are stupidly unbalanced. You always encounter the same class with same upgrades. 3rd edit. The more I play and the more this game loses rating. The balance is abhorrent.

I like the game, but there are some serious balance issues. Having a class card that negates death behind a pay gated ancestry is nasty. I don't like being forced to play with expansions I don't like just because the other person bought them. I really liked the base game but ancestries and the 2nd expansion ruined it for me.

The game is great thus far, plays like the tabletop version, but you need to get the expansions and new content out alil' faster because I'm at a standstill waiting for the new content having completed everything else, besides versus other players, so the next update needs to be more in depth, and of content relation making the "Realms" way more expansive then 9 missions, besides that, the game is Great and I look forward to what comes next in the Realm.

Game seems to be broken. When I go to create a new hero, the next screen stays blank. I assume this is where you would choose the class of your hero, but there are no options to select from. Without a hero you can't start a game. I've tried creating a separate account as well as un/re-install, tried on wifi and mobile network, same results. Galaxy S21 if that helps w your feedback. Obviously willing to change my rating pending response, love this game IRL.

Updates in the past few months have made the pit fight crash regularly (loading a save game freezes app). Micro transactions also lower rating. Good implementation of the deck building game. Hard AI is a reasonable challenge, which is needed b/c matchmaking often fails. Very swingy & winner frequently determined by early market deck order. Awesome that purchases are shared by account so you can play on other platforms like steam.

Loved the game till the latest update which broke it. Update wouldn't install, so I uninstalled the game and installed it fresh, that looked like it was gonna work, logged in, tried to start a match. None of the cards would load. All invisible. Tried restarting. Then uninstalled again and now it won't install at all. Sucks cuz I liked this game and paid to unlock stuff and now I can't even play it anymore.

I waited to play Hero Realms until the digital version here, and it works great! I'm already a fan of the game engine, and the Hero Realms enhancements are very enjoyable. I have not run into any bugs or issues for the 2 weeks I've been playing. But there has been consistent fixes and changes released. The free version gives you a good taste of the gameplay, and the full price app is worth the $10. I've never had to wait longer than a minute to find an online match too.

Both me and my wife love this game. We have both the app and the physical copy. The game plays good, although the matchmaking is very uneven. I can't seem to get past silver 1 but I'm almost always fighting gold and diamond people, so SBMM is our of the window. The chance to level up tour character is great, and I like the route they went with allowing you to personalize yourself. However this has also become a problem because of one class, the thief. I'm running out of room but needless it's OP

Was working fine until I downloaded the most recent update. Now I can't even load anything past the opening menu. When I click on any of the menu options "Play online, store, etc" I get a loading wheel and the entire game freezes and I can't do anything other than force close the game. Very frustrating to experience after spending money on it and missing out on games with my friends. I've tried re-installing as well and still nothing works.

This is a single match deck building game where you and an opponent take turns drafting cards from a central pool. Note that the free version available is basically a demo. There are no ads, but most of the classes, cards, and features are locked behind a single $9.99 us fee. The game is fun enough in the short run but the limited selection of pool cards and game options in the free version grows stale very quickly. Recommend checking it out but I was never tempted to pay to keep playing.

Hero Realms gets a lot right, such as a nice free version, the purchase applying in both steam and android, the pacing and graphics, and how much nicer this is to play than the somewhat sluggish feeling it has on the real table. Mechanics definitely feel better in this digital form. But for $10, that campaign mode should have a LOT more going on. I finished that in one sitting. This feels like it should have been more like a $3 purchase. I hope more gets added without more cost because it's fun!

This is an excellent game with great replayability and extensive multi-player strategy. It's not pay to win and you can jump in and play anytime. This game only gets 4 stars because multi-player is very competitive and on occasion the player timer gets out of sync and ends your turn early. This is extremely frustrating 😤 especially during a close game. A turn ended early pretty much loses you the match. Please fix this!!!!! Otherwise, great job 👍 for an awesome game.
