There is little wrong with the gameplay itself. The issue lies in the fact that nowadays progress on a gotcha game is saved to a person's google play account. Yet this game doesn't. It should considering, but it doesn't. So for example in my particular case where my phone broke and couldn't turn on, I lost all my progress and collection. This should be fixed. If it is and I could recover my previous game I'd rate this 5 stars. Till then it's a 3 star at most.

Could be better. Extremely fun creating decks and gameplay is great. The issue is, not only do you have to pay money to be good, but you have to keep paying money, making past payments feel wasted and eventually feels like you're wasting your time overall. Online play could be better if it was based on actual skill, strategy, and/or time invested instead of seeing who paid more for a better deck. The app itself is good. gameplay offline is also fun by itself.

The game has been updated several times, and now alot of the synchro summon cards have become very balanced. I do wish there was a little more interaction and graphic improvements. The game has been out for three years, the graphics has fallen to so-so at best. I think right now, Konami should bring some of the focus into basic gameplay features like, implementing a duel disk instead of playing cards on the field. The drag and drop system has become way overused in Yu-Gi-Oh games.

Absolutely love the game, countless hours of fun. It's insanely fun and full of content. But it's hard to rate higher than a 2 when the crashes are nearly constant. Every hour I crash at absolute random, maybe 4 to 8 times. Sometimes more. Game needs fixed asap to avoid constant crashing. Samsung S21 Ultra, so specs are definitely not a problem.

This is a fun game to play and always has been, but the recent bugs and issues (which has been happening since sometime in July of 2021) are really annoying. Between the game crashing and sending me back to the title screen and times when events will not work which lead to the same Crash happening again, it really is frustrating to see these crashs happen. They really need to fix the issues and bugs asap.

I must say this quite addictive. The game is fairly easy especially if you have played it in the past. There is a very good tutorial feature that teaches complex strategies as well. Most of the cards are obtainable for free. Leveling up characters is not a chore. Most of the time the pvp matches are lost not because of incompetence but by disconnection.

Help!!! Google games reset my data!!! I lost everything to an auto command 😭 I sent an enquiry to Konami. 🤞 I was worried that with only 3 slots per monster and spell/trap zone would leave me frustrated, but its totally the opposite! I love the original gameplay of duel monsters and the original characters from the first show! All new art and fun challenges. You can play with the AI or with real time people.

Always watched the show but never played the game. Worth getting into.😄 Update: Me and my friends recently got back into this game. We are having a blast but there's this occasional crash that happens on the results screen. Whether it's a win or a loss it'll freeze then close out the game. There's one more bug I encountered when fighting DSOD Téa. She sometimes gets stuck mid duel and doesn't make a play or she'll draw a card and do nothing. Leaving me to close the app and cancel the match.

I've been playing on this account since 5D's world launch. I'm satisfied, I've got a decent collection. I'd rather spend money on this than the TCG, and I've spent less than $100 in my years of playing on this account, but wouldn't mind spending more for Arc V world. However, the reboot issue is getting annoying. It never happens during a duel, but it's frustrating when I'm about to start something, like edit a deck or tapping on a standard duelist, and the game kicks me out to the main menu.

Great game, unless you have to start over from scratch, then it just takes forever, not always a bad thing, to get up to your rank, but it's worth it. Great events too, with plenty of nostalgia for each series the event takes place in, but the spacing and grouping of each event is almost directly right after another, or the immediate following week, which can be harsh on the battery. But highly recommend. However, do not be off for more than a week or two, or you may lose your account. UGH.

This game had tons of promise and it still does. The updates are "meh", but I respect what it does. It's new and different. My problem consistently seems to be with the overheating and the constant disconnecting during games when I have great wifi and data statuses. Aside from disconnecting 45% of the time, the re-entry into matches has gotten worse. It took more time to get back into the game than most matches last. Also the decisions made in absence are never seem to be beneficial to me.

Functionally and aesthetically it's a great game. While I wouldn't call it a pay to play it definitely requires some grinding to gather necessary and usable cards if you don't plan on dumping money into the game. Unfortunately I feel the game lacks individuality and creativity, of course everyone wants to win so you find that you'll see the same Amazon, Alien, Red Eyes, Plant decks. While fun to play it definitely loses appeal with the repetition.

In its first year, Duel Links did a fantastic job at rekindling my interest for a card game I never thought I'd return to. Its limited field slots, while initially a concern, played well into this mobile iteration, and all the newer generation cards and rules were nonexistent. However, after that first year, many of these newer elements were added in, making me lose interest again. In addition, this game has always been heavily pay to win. Still, the visuals, sounds, and atmosphere are great!

The game is fun, quick, and very aesthetically pleasing. Better graphics on this app game than most Yu-Gi-Oh console games. Plus you get to be your favorite characters and build you favorite deck with a massive amount of cards to choose from. The only problem I have with it are the constant reboots. It will just shut down on you every 10-15 minutes and reboot the entire app, and it's so annoying. I'm sure it's because of the servers or maybe some minor bugs, but please fix this.

Had 5 stars but just the game errors that kick me off at any given moment. It wasnt happening before. Screen goes white after the duel or pauses then kicks me off. Or in the middle of the duel it will get frozen and stay that way. Of course I lose the duel. This really messes with my ranked record, and it's also very annoying to have to keep restarting the game every 4 to 10 minutes. It discourages me from even logging back into the game. Updates have significantly helped the game errors.

After a few years of playing Duel Links, I honestly have to call it quits. The recent updates have completely shifted the meta for decks in a very bad way. Certain decks and skills just allow the craziest overpowered combos, and just ruins the game for most. I enjoyed the game for what is was but it has become completely unbalanced and for that, at least for me it's become unplayable. Fun while it lasted. I'll still hold my respect for Yu-Gi-Oh.

I love this game. But I have a bug where I can't complete my stage mission no matter how many times I do it. Theres no consistent updates. And I'm so close to deleting it. But I really don't want to. I've already put a decent amount of time in and don't want to lose my progress. But if I can't get this bug fixed, there won't be a point in keeping it I guess. I've heard of others getting this exact bug too. And there's constant connection errors. This game needs a lot of work and fast.

I use to love this game since it first came out. Over the years I started noticing patterns of the screen saying lost connection, but the biggest issue is ranked match-ups. It's evident that there's some messed up stuff going on with some players cheating. The craziest part about is that I randomly looked up someone cheating on YouTube and bro literally showed himself cheating and able to fix decks during matches... it was nice while it lasted.

I've loved this game for years, but the characters' skills are making the experience miserable. Older skills were meant to make less powerful cards more viability, but now they allow garunteed plays and combos that would otherwise be impossible. No one likes to lose, but I could always respect when I'm outplayed. But when someone has a skill that they can activate multiple times on every turn, it just feels like legal cheating. Rubs me the wrong way.

Was 4 star, but now 2. I tap the app the play, but after reading Konami I get the yellow buffer CONSTANTLY!!! The 2nd time in 2 weeks, more or less, and the first time it went on for days and this times it's no different. Don't know if an update thing, but it sucks. Sure as hell sure it's not a bad internet connection and reinstalling it doesn't work either.
