Good fun little game. I get they need ads, but 30 secs for each one is overkill. Update: changed from 4 stars to 5 stars. The game has always been free to play so I understood the need for ads. It looks like they've changed the ad algorithm to be less frequent and they mix in 30sec, 15sec, and 5sec ads. Has always been fun to play and grinding does pay off.

It's got a decent start, makes you think you've got a real good game ahead of you but you don't. It's not designed to challenge you fairly. It's designed to take your money wherever possible with a game that gets so difficult it's basically impossible to stay f2p. You're constantly upgraded your gear once or twice to maybe get some more hp so you don't die in less than 5 hits. Enemies have increasingly random or obnoxious attack patterns. 30 dollars for the best characters in the game. Not worth

This game has a lot going for it, but there are two points I just can't accept: 1) gear rarity from any loot source - paid or free - is capped until, I assume, certain milestones are reached which makes progress obscenely slow and farming a royal waste of time, and 2) the prices for high-tiered characters are just gross. Yes, you can grind for gold to buy the legendary characters, but it'll be months before you can afford one let alone gear them up to survive. So much promise and disappointment.

Game takes lots of grinding!! No forced ads!!! Game does get hard but if you watch the ads to get boxes and boosts it gets much easier. You can spend real money like any other game in this app store to get ahead. I have spent no money and I'm on stage 5. For a free game it has tons of content and I have had zero issues loading and playing. Overall it's a great game.

4 stars for gameplay, minus 2 for the ads. There are SO many ads. I spend more time playing ads than playing the game. I counted at least 50 ads just loading the game, claiming all my daily stuff, clearing a level and upgrading items. That's not a typo. FIFTY ADS. Generously assuming 30 seconds each, that's at least 25 minutes of ads. They're all optional which is good, but you're missing out on a ton of progress if you skip them. I'd actually spend money on this game if it disabled the ads.

Fun game to play in your spare time. Definitely straight archero vibes with a modern/ darker twist. Idk why the negative reviews lately. I'm on level 8 and yes it gets more difficult resulting in having to switch your game play but if you keep up with the daily, weekly, and monthly quests (along with the occasional ads), you're pretty much set up for the levels. Having trouble moving forward, go back and hit up the hero mode and lvl up your character. Would love to see more arena battles soon.

These types of games make you rate early when they're giving you a lot of free things and the game seems easy. But at level 4 or 5 you hit a pay wall. I have all epic equipment leveled up to at least 10. My weapon is lv15+ and I don't even make it half way through the level. This is only level 4 or 5. Imagine what it take to get to level 10. Pay to win for sure. A sure way to tell a pay to win game is if they have characters for sale at the $50 range per character.

The guns are incredibly lame. All are basically the same, only difference is the shots allowed per reload. Enemy bullet speed and AOE vary from shot to shot. Not even enemy type.(which has a hard time telling them apart they are waaaaaaaaaaaaay too similarly designed.) Some have massive splash with slow speed. The exact same enemy next time could have massive speed with massive splash. The traps arent consistant, they change speed and delay from room to room, everything that hits you moves you.

Pretty upset without explaining it they had me use the premium currency. I had just assumed the gold was the same as the silver, but in the level looked a different color. It was to watch an ad or buy a spin for relatively nothing. I thought why not use the game currency to spin again. Then out of the level I saw there were two types. Decided to just quit and uninstall.

Initially gave this game 4 stars because I love the gameplay. The skill system is awesome it's fun getting different builds in different runs which helps with the grindy-ness A LITTLE. However the ads are really heavy, although most are "optional" they are almost needed if you even wanna try to win without dozens of hours of play. The difficulty ramp up is insane and you have to grind like crazy to level up enough to progress.

Very similar to archer hero, and very well put together except the games is either heavy bugged to where you can o ly play level one or its designed to appear overly interesting so that you spend only early on o ly to realize there isn't a level past the first one thus you play the aw thing over and over again. The game gets boring really quick. It could be that it's bugged we'll see if the developers catch and fix it, if not, I'm glad I didn't spend money on this.

Fun game but has what I'll call an "odd" habit of having "connection issues" at the end of your game play. This consistent happens only after you've watched the ad to get 3x coins and forces you to rewatch another ad if you want the bonus. It could be legit but seems awfully convenient. Especially if you take into account that there were no "connection issues" while playing the game or watching the first ad. Seems like a deceitful way to get you to watch more ads.

You immediately ruined this game, by requiring an internet connection to play. It's a solo player third person shooter. There is absolutely NO reason to require a connection to play the standard game. Because of that requirement, there is a loading screen after EVERYTHING. Literally. Even every single time you upgrade a weapon or piece of armor. I spend less time on loading screens, while playing Atari.

The difficulty balancing of this game is done very poorly. While the core mechanics of the game are very fun, it is completely overshadowed by a massive difficulty spike in world 4 that makes it almost impossible to progress. The stats that you get from gear and leveling up perks (damage, dodge chance, armor) mean nothing when you die from three or four hits. I hope they fix this issue because I would love to actually be able to play the game.

The game itself is a wonderful rendition of archery... But the only issue I have is that when the ads come up to allow for extra content, sometimes the ad won't load and then all ads have been completely blocked for other chances. The only way for the ads to be enabled again is to force close the game and then reopen from scratch. If this issue were to be fixed then it would be a full 5 stars.

Everything is random. Removing the beautiful patterns of bullet hell and replacing them with random. Upgrades? Random. Loot boxes everywhere. Optional upgrades for an ad? Oh you don't feel like watching an ad to get the upgrade? Here's an ad anyways. The boss at stage 2 level 10? Random. The patterns themselves of enemy attacks are random except for timing. Sometimes a tight burst so you run to the side, sorry this time one shot went wide in the direction you were running. Enjoyment is random

Its a really fun game! It's just too hard too fast. Also it's 50 rounds per level. If you die on round 45, you have to start allllll over. Then you quickly you realize how useless your weapons are after just getting a few levels in and can't even get past round 10 or so and lose interest. It'd be great if more gaming companies would let us pass more levels before getting too hard. Seems like this day and age, it becomes pointless far too quickly.

If it wasn't for the ads that send me straight to the play store I would rate higher, the ads sometime causes the game to restart losing progress in a stage. Rather annoying if I must say, I don't mind having to watch ads for stuff or to get a bonus, just don't like when the ads completely interrupt the game. Tap the arrows, tap the fake close button, then exit the play store cause you were redirected there, now that you are back wait 5 more seconds then tap the real close button. Real fun.

I really like Archero and decided to give them a try and while it feels very familiar and has its own flair, it doesn't quite live up to it. Very early you see that you get the option to watch ads for more rewards and it feels like there's an ad for everything that is optional but there. Love they make it optional, only problem is that many times I've had to watch ads 2 or 3 times before it would register and give me additional rewards. can spend more time watching ads than playing.

I like this game really but the ads system is awful, I have to watch ads (sometimes 60sec), after I close the ad ("Reward Guaranteed" message shown), it showing a message that "ads is closed" and won't give rewards, I should watch ads three or four times till game accept that. I can't believe that is a bug and I think this is the way their getting view for ads and this is absolutely unacceptable.
