The gameplay itself is fine - simple and responsive. The ads really hinder my ability to enjoy this game, though. Have to sit through an ad after every one, maybe two, runs before it'll let me start another one and, at least the ones I've gotten, they're unskippable. I get that there's an options to pay for no ads, but the default has them well in excess.

Addicting game! and I'm not the gaming type at all. The graphics are great. That said, the controls glitching gets my character killed more than honest mistakes. Half the time when I swipe left or right to turn, the game doesn't register that I did. Or there are new elements halfway through that tutorials did not prepare for. The ads are longer than a typical life, also. Concept? 5*. Controls & ad overkill? Knocked it to 3* (I almost put 2*). 😒

I've played Temple Run since the first one came out. I've always loved playing it. And I love how they made the main menu easier. However I extracted 2 stars for 3 reasons. 1 it's a bad idea to get the sprit booster after 10,000m. (it will likely put you in a position to die) Second the way the new font is just bugs me for some reason. Third they trippled the adds. Still a great game and I love it.

I've always enjoyed this game. It's generally fun, the courses are varied, and the graphics are bright and pop well. I will say, the new course (jade something) that's supposed to have an orient/asia feel is a disappointment. It's very repetitive, reminding me of the earliest version of the original course. Otherwise, a great game!

I love this game, but there are some issues with it. About once a week my character gets stuck on one side. I have to completely shut down the game for to work properly. Also some of the daily challenges are way to long, where they take several games to complete. I'd like to see challenges that you can complete quickly. Other than that I love all the new characters and maps!

Mindless, challenging fun. I enjoyed this game since 2013, but am giving up on it. The advertisements have become increasingly frustrating and intrusive, and my account was reset back to nothing unlocked. I was always a F2P player, but the game no longer holds my attention enough to make me interested in trying to recollect everything to where I'd been.

This was a fun game for so long. Sadly, not anymore. Cheif among the frustrations is that special maps you purchase that once could be used for daily objectives no longer work that way. You pay money for a map that you can't even use. For beginners, the play free feature that shows you ads and then doesn't actually give you a new life will be equally frustrating. It might not be worth the aggravation to install the game.

Deletes all my game data and starts me from zero every time i close and open it. It starts with no money, no level, and a beginners tutorial every single time. And the first time i downloaded it, the double tap on the power up didnt work. This will be the second time i have to uninstall this app. I like it too! Please fix this!! Its extremely annoying and disappointing.

This game has been awesome the last 4 years I have been playing it. Now, after the latest update, I am seriously considering uninstalling it. It's hard to navigate, the game is unresponsive to swipes quite often, causing you to lose lives unnecessarily. And it seems like the ads are way more prevalent than they used to be. I used to enjoy playing this game and completing all the challenges- not any more after this horrible update. Please fix, or at least go back to the old way!!!

EDIT: The developer has fixed the issues - and the app works great again! This app keeps crashing on startup. I had the issue with my last phone. I just got the new Samsung S22 Ultra - same issue. App keeps crashing on startup. Edit: support was awesome! They are working to fix the issue. In the meantime they gave a workaround to turn on "airplane mode' while the app loads, then turn it off as soon as game is fully loaded.

I know the new interface (10/2/21) is getting a lot of bad reviews. I won't pile on other to agree that it's not very intuitive and slows down navigation. I think it looks great though. However, earlier I paid for Save me's . $5.00 I believe which allowed be to use a the Save Me function without it costing a gem or time (watching video). That is no longer working.

Never get tired of this game, and the updates and items continue to keep things interesting. At one point my phone was getting really slow from having too many apps installed, so I had to get rid of all of them. This was always the one game that I could never uninstall. Had it since it came out, and I'm still beating records and unlocking items. Edit: they added ads every two runs, and made more unlockables pay-to-play. Changed rating from 5 to 4 stars

Updated with regards to the most recent update, the game is awful, unplayable. I've had this since 2016. Long time player. The recent update has rendered it unplayable. The control is dead in parts of the screen. Other parts very glitchy whether your character goes the direction swiped. Never mind the very awkward navigation through the screens to find what you want. Could maybe get used to that. Reached out to support, but there isn't any. Do NOT get this game.

I've been playing TR2 for a long time (2014) and I've noticed that the graphics have gone down hill some since the newer updates. You would think the graphics would improve but they got worse. However the gameplay is still fundamentally the same, except there is a jump bug that happens after the waterslide and minecart sections. I love this game and still play it regularly, just wish they would quit downgrading the graphics.

New map is nice and all but every single time I'm about to reach a new milestone in the current challenge: I'll always run into a statue that my character never avoids (even when I turn my phone sideways, literally horizontal) or the game places a stupid pit at the top of stairs knowing full well you can't jump it. Also, STOP PLACING PICKUPS ON STAIRS...no one can jump to get them. Fix these issues please, they're beyond frustrating. 4 years later: issues still haven't been corrected.

Love this game!!! Love the updated format! Great graphics. I play this game every morning as part of my wake-up ritual, and I often find myself coming back to it again later in the day. My only complaint is that we can't remove the original hats on several of the characters. You can tap the "No Hat" option, but when they start running, their character hats are back on again!!! The option to run without hats is an option that we used to have, but for some reason, has been taken away!

Very good game, the change i would recommend is mixing up daily task. It appears they are in a loop, about every 4 days, the daily task repeats. Plus, make the daily task a little more difficult. Still recommend changing up the daily task and having something different. Unsure about the levels, I've been on the same level for almost a year. I recommend this game to all my friends. It really helps build your eye hand coordination.

Edit....I thought I would give this game another shot. Waste of time. Worse then the first time. Way too many ads. It downloaded 3 games from the ads that I didn't want. Save your time and skip it. Uninstalling immediately. It's just ok. Controls are very unresponsive. I swipe to jump or slide and it only works about half the time. I'm betting it's designed that way on purpose to get you to spend money. Way to many ads even for a "free" game.
