On first glance, some text in the app looks like Gujarati script. On closer inspection with reading glasses, I see some sort of hollowed-out font which makes me feel like being on drugs. This is the only app which requires that I wear reading glasses. Update: Zoho support was very responsive. Turns out that turning off the phone's "high contrast" fixes the problem but then I struggle with most other apps. However, turning on "bold" makes everything readable again.

Just signed up and so far so good. For my needs, I just needed a basic email box, ability to receive new email notifications, a custom email address, and the ability to set up multiple aliases, and all of this was able to be done easily. You can't pay monthly, but even the price per year is great. I'm very happy so far.

Updated- they responded and talked through a workaround. Not optimum This app says you can add another account, but when you click the "Add another account" link, it just reloads the account you already have loaded without ever giving you a prompt to type in the email/ password of asb additional account. I was hoping this app would solve my problem of having to logout/ login on a browser to each of my accounts, but I was sadly mistaken. Gmail is much better for users who have multiple accounts.

Works for what I need it for. I have had no app problems but I have used their support. Their support is very good. If they think someone is trying to hack your email they will stop your email address from being able to create email. The App still let you be able to read new incoming email. Desktop programs like Mozilla Thunderbird couldn't even see the incoming emails. If you use a VPN you should tell them. They see that you are bouncing around the world and treat it as a security issue.

Notifications for incoming emails do not seem to work. Triple checked notification setting on all accounts, they are turned on. App checks for new email very sporadically (10m or more, sometimes not at all without opening app and manually refreshing). This app is not suitable for enterprise or even personal use for anyone that needs reliable email access/notification. UPDATE: After months of silence from developer/support regarding this issues, making off another star for those as well.

Have been using this App for nearly 4 years now, never faced a problem till now. Whenever I try to reply to an email, my messages converts to quoted part of the original message. So when the reply is sent, the other party does not see my message unless they expands the quoted part. This problem seems to be only limited to Android as it is not present in my iPhone.

This is a pretty good app. There are only a couple of things I've found that I don't like. 1. It doesn't show the pictures in my emails without clicking to show the pictures. I would prefer that it automatically show the pictures. A setting that would allow me to choose this option would be great. 2. I would prefer that the Inbox would show me all my emails. I can work around this,however, using "All Messages" under "Views."

Updating from 1 star after the version 2.4.2 fiasco to 4 stars for 2.4.3. Tech support has been very responsive and included bug fixes i pointed out to them. Tech support gets 5 stars. Still wish if you look at new email in desktop, the notification would disappear from your phone. Has never done this before and hope it gets fixed some day.

Great app and email service. Today, anytime I open the app and select an email to open the app crashes immediately. No updates, so not sure why this is. LG 7. Update: cleared cache and memory and everything worked. I updated Android System Webview after this. Other apps affected by this as well, so more an Android system problem than Zoho.

I enjoy the app however, I wish there was an entirely different app for calendar. Being able to access the calendar from my email home page is nice.... but I hate having to open my email, then locate the calendar icon whenever I need to glance at my calendar. It takes a few extra steps and time. But having a separate app I could just click on and take to the home page would be a big time saver.

If you click "Inbox", you do not see all your emails. I havent figured out what makes an email go to inbox or not, but I am constantly missing important messages. And if you click the "All messages" option, the phone app crashes. I have not had a good experience with any of zoo's apps and services.

Solid app, but really needs the ability to add external accounts like Gmail. I would love to make Zoho Mail my one and only mail app, but that's impossible without the ability to add other accounts. Seems like a big miss in a time where everyone has email coming from multiple providers. I use Zoho as my main account, but have gmail and outlook as junk mail accounts. Not super important, but I do need to keep an eye on them. It would also be nice to have a really quick way to switch between accounts. Right now it's like 3 taps, but having a pattern of one or two (see outlook and gmail apps) would be a real plus.

It works well. Zoho is the best bank for the buck for an email server, great admin controls from the web UI. My only complaint is what they call "name spoofing" -- ONLY the email addresses for incoming email is displayed by default, NOT the NAMES of the sender -- this is TERRIBLE! It can only be turned off on their end. Requested in a chat and it took 48 hours to fix. Now is awesome! Another review complained about all mail not going to Inbox, easy fix in Settings, Filters, SmartFilters OFF.

This email has been my go-to for several years now. Very reliable, but the BEST thing is the outstanding customer support! Upon every log out, you are asked if you are happy! If you indicate that you're not, there is a comment screen to explain why and literally within a few hours, you'll have an email from CS trying to make things right. Who does that??! The email is free, but they also have a complete selection of other complementary tools to run a biz. They definitely deserve your business!

This review covers just the current version of the app. The archiving doesn't work. When I use the archive function, the email just disappears. Well that's just a really terrible user experience. Overall the app seems well designed. Update: Zoho addressed my concern. It looks like I'd created a folder by the same name and mixed up the functionality. The search function which missed such email in the past now picks them up. There might have been an update on the backend.

I think it's a great email app, especially with support for multiple emails. The only 2 issues I have is that once an email is sent or received, you can't highlight and copy/paste anything in that email as I do to edit things. Gmail has this. Also, it would be nice to be able to create folders in the app for email organization instead of having to it on a desktop unless I'm missing an option.

Edit: The missing email problem I had has been resolved, so I changed my rating. I like using the app so far. Users with slower connections may have problems viewing their emails and the default folders/tags take some getting used to if you're used to Google's "primary" inbox view. Another thing: selecting "all" doesn't show you all your emails, it just shows the main inbox mail and doesn't include the emails in folders, which is a little disappointing but not a deal breaker lol.

I've been using this app exclusively for a few years, it's OKAY, but it has so many small bugs that really affect it's usability. Sad that they don't seem to notice or care. Example, if you're reading a long email and need to zoom in to see a small chart it moves the entire email way up or down as you zoom so you completely lose your place. Extremely frustrating.

Pros: Overall a great app to use for just checking and replying to your Zoho mail. The user interface is intuitive and very clean. Checking and responding to emails is easy. Few to none glitches. What I dont like though, is that you're unable to set reminders on an email or schedule emails to go out at certain day/times. This can be a bit of a hindrance if you work a lot from your phone. Zoho if possible, please add the scheduling for email option to the phone app.

Update: After a remote session with customer services, Mukesh, the issue was resolved. Apparently there was an issue on the Zoho Mail side that wouldn't allow the mailboxes to sync. All working great now. Very disappointed in this app. Unable to add another email account even after adding the extra mail account in the web browser. Seems like the settings don't sync with the actual account settings.
