I don't have to add time to my trips to make sure the ticket machines are not "out of order" or if they do or don't accept credit cards, coins or cash at the stations or stops. An absolute game - changer. THANKYOUTHANKYOU

Use it occasionally. Ticket buying experience is good. Sometimes app updates are troublesome. Little glitchy coming out of screensaver mode or while using other apps during ticket display. No split screen?

As of today, the Available section to purchase a ticket is unavailable. I've sent out an email to the developers to fix this issue. I usually purchase my tickets through the app and now the option is no longer available, please fix ASAP.

Buying and storing passes is super easy. It's also much easier to plan routes and look at schedules on the app. My only negative is that there isn't a way to store the connect pass on the app.

It took me by suprise! Soo high tech , Once i learned about it, & down loaded the app, back in 2020, i liked it... I am an essential worker, so I can pre load $ for a bunch of passes through-out the weeks & take public transit from home to work both jobs, and run errands,as i don't drive, so this, has been my main way of transport, for over 10+ yrs. Thanx sooo much to who developed it ! Its a great app

It works when I get the ticket during the month I need it. Never buy your tickets ahead of time though. If it is close to the end of the month, even just one day, wait until the new month starts before you buy that ticket. You will get a data error on it before activation if you try to get one ahead of the new month.

For the last two days the app will crash the second I open it, it also logged me out the one time the app actually ran. I don't really have any other modes of transportation to get where I need to go and this has been extremely inconvenient.

After the update on October 2, my zip pass doesn't work unless I reboot my phone each time I use it. Bus drivers are not interested in holding up their schedule while I try to get my app working. Hope you fix this.

Half the time the app has issues pulling up your ticket. It's embarrassing, ive had to restart my phone several times while getting on the bus. Its really annoying when I have a all day pass. I got so sick of it. I just took a screen shot. Please fix this app!!!

It works, but if we are being honest, we should all make eye-contact here and acknowledge that it the landscape of transit payment apps is too crowded and complex. Things should be easier for the transit customer. Government intervention may be necessary.

Occasionally, the app will crash when I have a ticket open and switch to another app or lock my phone. However, getting back to my ticket after a crash takes less than 10 seconds. Beyond this one issue, everything works great.

Overall its great. Convenient plus it has real time bus tracking which is a major plus (why isnt there real time light rail?). My only issue is that Folsom/Yolo/Elk Grove wont accept the this even if you buy the daily pass (They accept the paper pass). So im forced to have to make sure i carry the correct change to purchase a paper daily pass. Still having the schedules and real time bus tracking makes it a great app for anyone that takes RT.

It's certainly more convenient than carrying cash to buy a ticket at the machine. However, it's VERY glitchy.Often I have to restart my phone to get it to work properly.Twice now when I tried to buy tickets, it said there was some error and to try again, and that I wouldn't be charged twice. Both times I ended up getting charged for every attempt I had tried to place the order ($200 spent when I had only intended to spend $50).The first time it wouldn't even show my tickets and I got a citation!

Super easy and convenient. If it included real live time arrival and departure times of trains and busses and the schedules, routes, trip times, allowed users to select destination and sell the appropriate tickets it would really be a great app. It makes all apps k nda suck I have to download 1000 that all doing one or two things only. As soon as one tech company realizes the massive oversight not hiring creative types in leadership rolls they all will. Until then this is a decent apps are.

Worst App Ever! It is the most frustrating app ever! I almost received a ticket from the transit police because the damn thing would not let me view my ticket! One minute it was working fine, until the transit police asked up see it, it disappeared and the screen came up that tells you that the app defaults to saving the purchased tickets to your device, but if you have sketchy mobile data connection you can save it to cloud storage. Well I have tried multiple times to save my tickets to cloud.

Trying to buy a ticket and got a communication error saying the purchase couldn't be completed. Tried to reconnect to complete the purchase because I needed the ticket. Gave up after three retries. Found Four tickets in my ticket wallet! I only needed to buy one and only need at most two for today and the foreseeable future, and from other reviews saying how easy it is to lose tickets I'm probably never going to get to use the other two. Very disappointing.

Overall it works most of the time but lately I have been ordering the ticket before I go somewhere then when I pull it up. It's says no ticket purchased. I ordered another ticket and both are now showing as purchased. If they could fix the little glitches that would be great! Other than that the app is really convenient, especially for those who don't like carrying cash.

Bought a Basic Fair ticket on the app and received my receipt/proof of purchase through my email. When I go and try to retrieve/activate the ticket, it says I still need to buy a ticket before it can be added to the activation folder. It's been over a week and still nothing; lost money using this app. Beware: seems like this happened to others as well.

Originally, the app was very unstable had a lot of nasty bugs. But since the update recently, it's fixed the problems it had. One i can call off hand, it would get a data error. And you couldn't access your tickets again. Unless, you called customer advocacy, and had them refresh the app. I just had a small error message but, it didn't glitch out. So well done RT, you've fixed the issue everyone has had with the zip pass app. 5 star rating from me.

Worked great, new update ruined it. Ever since the latest update the app has been running extra slow. And if you leave the app with an active pass and return to it, the screen shows up as black. Luckily my bus drivers know me as a regular otherwise I'd have to waste multiple passes just to prove I paid. I would stop using it if only the ConnectCard website would actually load my card when I tried (that's a whole other issue). Hope they fix this issue soon.
