Rough around the Edges, but keeps track of the things it needs to. I wish they didn't force some kind of Online Login to use it, as i'd prefer to keep all that information local. Additionally, the last update Killed the ability of it to use other Watch Faces, as all of the "Online Watch Faces" brings up is a blank screen with a little lighthouse on it. Still, it does push notifications reasonably well, and keeps track of the things you would expect it to. The bottom line i guess is that It's OK, but could be a lot better with a little bit of offline usefulness.

What was once good, is now broken. I have been using this app for nearly 10 month and one of the features that I loved was that I could track my treadmill runs. Well, now when I start tracking the app crashes or just does nothing. Further, the batter on both my watch and phone have begun draining faster that previous version. If there was a way to roll back, I would, but frankly, at this point, I am ready to sell this watch and go back to my LG watch.

EDIT: changed from 3 stars to 1 since the devs seem to be ignoring everyone. Like so many others have noted this was a great app until the last update. I suddenly broke a 121 day streak of making my goal when (according to the app) I completely stopped moving Last week. The band itself seems to be recording activity but it won't sync correctly. For example: My 15k steps from yesterday are not in the history when I synced today. Sent a message through the app to devs but have been so far ignored.

Tracks my sleeping if in its parameter. If I take a nap not tracked. Tells me the time, weather, date, day, is a step tracker, & heart rate monitor. Plus let's me know how many bars of charge is remaining. Has been a reliable source if information. When combined with life360 app. tracks my where abouts with any other people, with smart watches, that are included in my circle that choose to be included. I recommend MiFit.

Whoa! I experienced inaccuracy of steps data recording on the mifit app with my mi smart band 4 couple days ago and couldn't seem to fix the inaccuracy after trying all potential fixes. This was never a problem for the past 5 months I've been using this. Then, I looked here and voila!! It appears there was a recent new app update which has messed up something on the app. This appears to be an issue with a lot of frustrated users. Hope tech support is reading this and can address urgently.

Lately it has stopped (and occasionally) inaccurately enters sleep and step data. (According to the app, haven't slept in 3 days! Still wearing the watch at bedtime.) For some reason, the steps on the watch don't always sync to the app. Walked 1.5k steps yesterday (according to watch) but the app shows 0 steps even after numerous syncs. This is a significant issue!

Frustrating. Sometimes this app works pretty well. Other times the sync goes haywire and doesn't do its job. I lost a 100 day streak yesterday because it didn't sync my steps properly. My watch gave me the notification that I reached my goal and before I went to bed I was over 1000 steps over my goal. When I woke up the next morning, the app said that my streak had ended and that I had 2000 less steps than my goal. There is no way to manually enter steps to fix syncing issues. I also have had to constantly refresh the app to get it to sync activities from my watch, but usually you just have to completely quit the app and then reopen it for it to actually sync. Definitely needs some bugs fixed.

"Select the Region" screen keeps popping up when starting the app, and there's no way to get rid of it. Making a selection doesn't work. The latest update removed all the unofficial custom watchfaces I added. There is now no way to re-add them. One of the best features of the Mi Band 4 is now gone. Please fix it. Also, the app doesn't track my sleep whenever I go sleep later than 6am.

Watch update repeatedly fails. Horrible app. (10/31) Watch update still fails repeatedly. Currently unable to use watch because it won't update. Update 6/11: App still horrible. Now sleep/step/heart rate activity from the watch won't sync to the app. The only workaround is to sign out and back in again. This only syncs past data, though, and the all won't sync going forward.

Works pretty well, except for the always-on notification which makes the Mi Band notification feature useless as it only indicates whether you have notifications, not what they are. An update over the past two months or so also reduced the sensitivity of the sleep monitoring. It no longer registers awake time, grouping it with "light sleep" instead.

the major problem with this app is that it disconnects my Bluetooth headphones whenever i try to make or receive a call. this doesn't seem to happen immediately after install, just after prolonged use. this is completely unacceptable. if i uninstall this app, the headphones problems all go away immediately. this happens for multiple BT headphones I've tried. some minor problems: - no "other" exercise type (only running) - no graph for cadence (only speed and hr) - no calendar view for all exercise history (Garmin app has this feature and it's really nice) - if you add Google fit account to sync, the walking information syncs too much, adding insane number of "walks" to Google fit journal, and the running information doesn't sync enough, not adding the gps map, not HR, not cadence, nothing except distance really.

Always something new that doesn't work. Do not disturb is the latest issue. I set it on auto DND but it keeps ending up on regular DND, so then I miss calls. Maybe it is getting reset while I sleep? In any case, this makes the watch almost unusable as a means of being notified of anything important. As soon as any company with decent design skills makes a watch with good battery life, this thing is in the trash.

The app is ok. A little confusing to navigate but I can deal. but some recent up date pushed to my Amazfit Bip has made the alarms completelt useless. It will vibrate only for a few seconds before turning itself off. It turns off before it has even vibrated long enough to wake me. Please please fix! The alarm feature was one of the main reasons I bought the watch!

Generally loving this fitness band (the v4). Two things, my girlfriend was unable to sync her account setup, so she couldn't even get her band to a working state. Second, the band and app don't understand the US daylight saving time change. The band didn't change times (so the alarm was wrong) until it was synced with the app in the morning, and the sleep data looks incorrect (slept 6.5 hours, 3 hours deep sleep).

App used to work then an update broke it. It no longer tracks continuous heart rate. It no longer tracks sleep. Those 2 things were my primary use, so the app is useless to me. For the month, it asks me to identify my location. I select my state, but it just gets caught in a continuous loop asking me again and again to identify my location until I skip it without answering. Next time I start the app, it asks me again to identify my location and still does not work.

This app wants ALLL your permissions, and just nags you over and over to get access to everything. I don't need you to access my camera, gps, read/write to files. I just need to sync my band, that's all, stop harassing me each time to allow access. If it wasn't for the mi band sync, I wouldn't use this app, UI is horrific, not intuitive, and app nags at you to restore any and all permissions so it can track you more than just your steps.

Update September 2019: I just had a 20-day step streak end because the app won't record/sync 400 or so steps the band shows. This makes me wary of trusting the other functions of the band, including the sleep tracking. Also, why doesn't the app understand that people can run on a treadmill? Every single run I track on the treadmill is significantly off on distance, and even the option to adjust the distance won't get it close to what the treadmill itself measured. I'm running 8-minute miles, so not particularly fast. I use this with a Mi Band 2, and every so often, the number of steps recorded won't match the number stored in the app's history. I can't see a pattern to it, either. For example, in August I've had 6 days that don't match. One had 17 more steps, oddly, but the others were all low, with the largest discrepancy being 1663 steps (showed 8742, recorded 7079). Very frustrating; thankfully there are other apps that do better, but the "official" app should at least be accurate.

I am going to update my review, but still no more than one star. The app has a lot of difficulty keeping up with steps. Sometimes they don't show up until the next day, even if I try to sync a dozen times during the day. I can be 3,000 steps for a day and it only records 300. Then maybe late at night I will sinc and I get my 3000 steps at 10 oclock at night when walked at noon. Even if you get your steps for the day, they are incorrect and not updated for week, month and year. The app sucks.

Issue below fixed at some point - now I'm just trying to remember where I manage notifications for the band because this UI is pretty clunky, but it functions OK. Communication between Mi Band 7 and app has been poor. Random alarms pop up. Weather doesn't work anymore. Now I unpaired to try to fix weather and the app will not allow me to pair with a band, it just freezes. Now my band is useless. Getting worse every day.

The app was acceptable before (when it was MiFit). A bit confusing and frustrating at times, but acceptable. Ever since the update to Zepp Life, though, it will randomly disconnect from my smart band (MiFit 5) when my phone is barely 3 feet away. Only going to put up with this so much longer before I switch allegiances. Edit: It's not random anymore. Band and app simply will not stay connected. I've had enough. I'm saving up my money for a different band that uses a different app.
