More About Zen Space

Zen Space is an app that helps you eliminate distractions so you can focus on what matters. Deep Zen and Light Zen features are here to supercharge your productivity.
In the Deep Zen space, the system automatically silences all notifications and disables all apps other than the Camera, so you can give your undivided attention to the task at hand. A Light Zen space allows you to choose the apps you need in different circumstances, so you can quickly find your zen and get on with things. You can create multiple Light Zen spaces and switch between them as necessary.
We've also provided a dashboard where you can view your zen data and share your zen achievements.
*Zen Space is currently available only for devices running ColorOS 13.1 or a later version.
For devices that do not support Zen Space, Zen Mode (the older version of Zen Space) will be downloaded.

It's really pathetic that people have to forcefully lock their devices in order to not use them, that's full-on addiction at that point. You should really be able to just put the damn phone down and go do something else if it means that much to you. I wish I could delete this app, I'm tired of it interrupting my gaming sessions. It's the only time I'm on it for long periods but it acts like I have a problem. There should be more adjustment so I can tell my phone that it's okay I'm using it.

I work doing ride share services and in the middle of work it likes to pop up and throw everything out of whack, i thought i silenced it when it first popped up but it updated itself and reared its ugly head. This needs to go. It's cost me money at this point by dropping the ride that I had and not letting me get another one for at least 20 minutes. It's bloat ware I didn't want and there either needs to be a way to uninstall or completely turn off.

Can't disable it, it uses a lot of background resources and pops up with notifications I can't disable even though my phone has been out of use for 8 hours while I was asleep. This is nice as an OPTIONAL feature, but shoving it down my throat means I probably wouldn't recommend a OnePlus phone to anyone in the future anytime soon.

The reason I went with a OnePlus phone in the first place was to avoid garbage like this app. Can't disable, can't delete, locks you out of your phone. I don't see where anyone doing business on their phone would find this useful at all. If this goes forward in later versions, I may have to reconsider my phone choice.

LET US UNINSTALL THIS. This app has been the most infuriating thing, doublly so when it's also installed on your work profile as well. No one needs a nanny for their phone except children. UPDATE: after going to the settings and turning off notifications, I STILL received a notification last night and after checking the app again, NOTIFICATIONS WERE TURNED ON AGAIN. This should be taken off the app market simplely for not respecting the user's choice.

This app is automatically installed (and reinstalled) whenever oxygen OS is updated. It requires root access and something like Titanium Backup to remove it. Even when "disabled", this presumptuous nanny app still throws intrusive notifications at you. It may be useful for some people but a true method for removal should be provided. It should not be thrust upon those of us who do not want it.

I don't want this. I can't install this. It keeps creating nonsense notifications about me constantly using the phone while I'm sleeping it working, and it waits hours before the notifications show up. A lot of the options related to notifications are disabled and the ones I can change have already been turned off yet the notifications keep seeing up!

NEVER TOUCH THE ICON EVEN ONCE, IF YOU DO IT CAN NEVER BE TURNED OFF. ZEN MODE IS THE WORST KIND OF BLOATWARE It's impossible to delete or turn off Zen Mode. Zen turns off ALL apps if Zen decides you are using your phone too much. It uses up battery. It sends 10 meg of data out somewhere everyday. It uses up space. It goes against all the reasons I bought a open phone. This is a work phone. I use it all day. I'm not a teenager with self control isues...

Tells me I've been on my phone for hours, when I pick up my phone off dresser when I wake up. Does NOT allow me to turn off notifications or optimize battery for this app, so it keeps putting notifications in the tray and runs in the background, eating up my battery quickly. It won't let me even force stop the app.

Where did this come from? I didn't install it, and there's no way for me to modify its permissions anywhere in my settings. It doesn't even show up on my apps or system lists. It showed up out of nowhere, uses data, and has cut my battery life in half on the 6t. I'm very dissatisfied with oneplus for putting something with so much control onto my phone without my permission. It is the worst kind of bloatware.

I never requested this app, but during a system update, it was installed. I have tried to force stop and uninstall, but the option isn't available. I believe I've turned off notifications, but I'm not sure... it's an app I don't trust, since I can't uninstall. This app notifiies me when it thinks I've been staring at my phone far too long. How can an app possibly know what I'm doing? So to the developers, I say, "Create an option to uninstall. Your app is worthless!" It's worth zero stars.

Pointless app that takes up battery life and space. I was finally able to find a way around this after months of having the phone. There's no way to find it with conventional means so that you can edit it's permissions. Not really useful as it's like a nagging mother. The fact that it's actually bloatware doesn't help either. This is an overall bad call one+. It's a near hourly minor annoyance that is more troublesome to fix than to leave alone and ignore.

Control...exactly what the app is supposed to be about, it's were is lacking the most. I don't mind the idea, or that it comes pre-installed. But, the lack of options, to not be able to delete it or turn off notifications, is super annoying. Especially to someone like me that their phone is their main device to watch Netflix and such, is bothersome to get a notifications every 2 hours on a Sunday, where I just wanna be lazy and watch series after a long week of working hard. Give us the option!!

This is invasive, involuntary, not uninstallable bloatware. Not what I expect from OnePlus. It also eats battery, takes up space and data, and, if accidentally activated will ruin your ability to use your phone when you need it the most. Will likely be switching to another phone within the next week due to this. It cost me a large construction contract that I was counting on this winter.

would be perfect if it didn't crash! I'll set it up for a 40, 50, 60 mins or so and when i go back onto my phone it just turns on as normal and seems to forget it was ever running zen space and none of the data is captured. I've opened my phone during the time and at the beginning it works well, reminding me that its active, however half way through it'l just stop working.

This is not an app I wanted nor asked for, yet it's forced on my phone and cannot be disabled. It sends notifications I don't care about that can't be turned off. As apps go, this one scrapes the bottom of the barrel. Zero stars. For shame, OnePlus. Edit: Found the setting to turn off notifications inside the app. First and last time I'll ever use it.

Horrible & can't be deleted. It eats up battery and space, plus I get notifications to turn off my phone when I haven't even been on it for hours. I'm an adult and can manage my own time appropriately, thank you. I can't believe an app was forced on us.. downloaded and installed without my permission. I tried to uninstall it from Google play and my phone crashed. I'm reporting it to Google play and hope others will too.

The thing I loved most about One+ was the fact that you don't get buried in bloatware. Then they sneak this thing onto your phone without your knowledge. It has far too many permissions---that the user cannot turn off, btw---and you can't delete the app. Yet another unwanted, unneeded, unwelcome guest on my phone that feels the need to read all the data it finds. One+ has managed to shoot itself in the foot with this thing. Don't want it, but can't get rid of it. Uninstalled the updates, tho.

Really OP?! I can't disable the app OR its notifications? What could've made you think it would be a sound decision to take away my choice? Rev. Feb 15, 2020: Several updates later, still stuck with this app and its notifications. This is a serious safety issue! What if I need to call for help? Or show a boarding pass? This is the absolute worst idea of all time! I'm rooting now and leaving OP in future.

Update: Contacted Developer for how to remove - no response. App suddenly not compatible with my phone. Go to uninstall, just reverts to the oldest version. Now that it's no longer supported, i can't update this review (thanks google). Update shows up, and the app STILL doesn't open to change settings (not through App Drawer or settings). Because it's a service app, i can't turn off data and it's used 38 megs(??) for what?! I'm done with OnePlus. Both OS and hardware. This is the silliest hill to die on for a company. It's a optional toy app that is neither toy nor optional. Previous Review: Can't stop it. Can't uninstall it. Can't change the settings as the app suggests. And for what? So i can get a passive aggressive reminder that my screen is on regardless of reason.
