Fun to play, but lately has been freezing and lagging and doing odd things like the tile I clicked on is not the one it selects. Lost a few times due to this. Updating the app didn't solve the issue. Now randomly getting pop-ups that something was won and taken to another page in the middle of a game. Has happened several times.

I play this game daily. The daily puzzles scratch a nice itch in my brain but that's about it. The daily puzzles have a tendency to repeat every month but its not too bad. But the big thing that knocks this review down to 2 stars are the incessant pop-ups. Just now, I had to close 7 pop-ups to just make it to the main screen to play the daily puzzle. Then, when I finished the puzzle, 2 more pop-ups. Not even ads, but pop-ups from the game asking you to buy microtransactions. It's relentless.

Starts off fun except for the ads. There's no end to the pop-ups that pester you for money. Recently, though, I made it past lv 700, and the game has stopped being fun. Even the 'regular' levels are hard now. The parameters for the puzzles feel like they changed to include more tile types. Before, it didn't matter how many tiles I unlocked, I'd still encounter levels that only used a handful. Now, it takes me just as many tries to beat a regular level as a Hard or Super Hard. Sometimes more.

Super Disappointed. I love 3 Tiles, so I had high hopes for this game. The difference between the two is that 3 Tiles has offers, but they also give you the option to watch ads for power ups or to continue a level. Zen Match is just 3 Tiles reskinned and turned into a money pit. It's not relaxing to play when you're stuck on the same puzzle for weeks because you won't pay to play.

I love this game but it constantly glitches & kicks you off the app. I've been playing this game for over a year, but I often get frustrated with it and will stop playing for weeks, months even. When I first started playing, it would really relax me but since it keeps freezing & what not, I give it 3 stars. If you could get it to run smoother, I would rate it 5 stars.

Game won't open. Just installed Zen Match & was only able to play the first (tutorial) round before a message kept popping up for me to "reconnect to Internet". I checked my connection & it was Excellent. I kept clicking "retry" on the pop up message but nothing happened. I exited and restarted Zen Match twice but the same message kept popping up. I was able to play other games, surf the net, get emails, etc... So, the problem was obviously not the Internet connection.

Pro: there are no pop-up video ads Cons: the game is designed to get you to pay, which it is deeply unsubtle about. There are up to half a dozen ads for in-game currency after every other round, which is super annoying. The levels also get increasingly harder, which would be fine if they were also beatable. But they are, of course, not designed to be beatable. They're designed to get you so frustrated you eventually cave and spend money so you can finally win. I'm giving up this greedy game.

Best tile match game I have played. Between the calming music, the look of the tiles, and the setup as a whole. Very nice. I can't even play any others after playing this one. The popups on the homepage can get annoying sometimes, but they don't bother me as much anymore. I'd rather have those than ads for sure. Thank you for this game. Only thing I wish is that you could get more than 5 lives. I wish the max was higher.

As soon as you open the app you're bombarded with "sales" and events. Also, you're taken back to the home screen after completing two levels. Not good if you want to get right to the game and/or play continuously. Levels often have similar looking tiles, so pay close attention or you'll select the wrong one. Some of them are very hard to tell apart when partially covered. Overall an okay game, but don't be fooled into thinking it's relaxing. It can get very frustrating.

OPPOSITE of zen. And no it's not from ads. The amount of stupid pop ups from events, money grabs, and every other useless thing whenever you open the app or play every few levels wastes so much time, that and it can't be turned off. Of anything it's worse than ads because it's about 20 pop-ups that you have to wait to pop up before getting rid of them and then playing the game. Which the game is fine, but the whole thing is a cash grab and not at all relaxing.

The game is fun enough, I guess, but the only reason they call themselves "zen" is because the game loads with repetitive uplifting and encouraging thoughts. However, every two levels you are made to go back to the home screen where you're inundated with at least 4 pop-up ads. I'm several hundred levels in, so it hasn't been THAT annoying yet, but it's highly not "zen"

It's a fun time wasting match game. My only real complaint is the constant prompting to go back to the home screen after completing levels to try to get you to make purchases. This is especially annoying when you have a power up giving you infinite lives for a certain amount of time. I had one that only lasted 15 minutes, half of that was wasted by it making me go to the home screen after each level instead of just moving to the next level

The game itself is fun & relaxing, but the ads are out of control. Honestly, I spend money on other games but I have made it a personal vendetta NOT to spend $ on this game bc of how insane this is. Every time you get to the main menu there are approx 7 ads. Prior to the last update you were forced back to the main menu (and to click thru those 7 ads) after completing just 2 levels. Now, it's even worse, you're forced back to the menu after every single level. This is ridiculous & I'm quitting

I do love this game, I've been playing off and on for quite some time. I love seeing some of the changes made and new challenges. Sometimes it's frustrating others it's a great mind numb. I wish we could choose the backgrounds we've collected to show instead of the collection we're working on as we the game board, a little more customization would be awesome. The Koi race is a little boring now, but loved the new balloon race.

The designs are beautiful and I enjoy playing when it actually works, but for the last week I am constantly getting "weak network connection" errors which freezes the game and forces me to restart and lose a life / waste any infinite lives I might have. I've verified my wifi and cellular data connections are both at full strenth so idk what is causing the issues but it's made the game basically unplayable.

I used to LOVE playing this game. It is beautiful and, for ths most part, relaxing. Unfortunately, the bandwidth requirements are atrocious. 3 bars of 4G and my connection is lost. Even though I can turn around and watch youtube just fine. It became so frustrating, that I stopped playing for a few months. Hopeful for an update that fixed the issue, I began playing again. However, that wasn't the case. Maybe next time. Also unlimited lives should be cashed in at convenient time for player.

Not relaxing, annoying pop ups. Irritating that you only get 5 lives and they take FOREVER to reload. And then when you first load up the app and also get done with a level, that whole GOLD RESERVE FOR $2.99 will not stop popping up every 2 dang seconds! Like, I see I can click on it myself, stop making it pop up between every game! It's annoying! And they make it so you can't win harder levels for like days cuz they refresh the lives so slowly. It's not relaxing at all.

I found this game via Fetch. This is one of the games I kept after getting all my points. The name of the game is Zen match... there's absolutely nothing "zen" about all the ads. There's not even an option, that I see, to purchase to get rid to them. I love the daily puzzle challenges but the ads are annoying. I wouldn't mind purchasing unlimited time but the frequency of ads is annoying. Otherwise I love the game

I like the concept of the game. It's the constant Xing of the ads after each game that is annoying. Yes I see it all! If I'd liked to purchase, I'll figure it out! Every single round of games? It's ridiculous! Plus they barely added a new boost thingy this week, that just barely started a day ago! It's been in grey for the longest since I've installed the game 2 year ago. Finally! Damn the prices for them is hard to earn unless you have money to throw! About to uninstall soon!

Sucks that you are prompted to spend coins constantly when the number of coins you actually have isn't on the screen. I almost NEVER spend coins on what I want to, because it's like a friggen trick to exit a level. I can't just exit, I have to confirm it multiple times with a tricky popup to waste a ton of coins to continue. Used to play daily but it's far too annoying anymore
