Let’s start with the basic rules and logic behind the picture cross puzzle! Every puzzle in the Happy Pixel Nonogram game is a pixel art. All you get at first are blocks and colored numbers in some of them. You have to use these colored numbers as hints. Start with one number, drag the correct square or rectangle that contains the exact number of cells. The square or rectangle is filled with the color of this number. This can be very tricky. You have to think about the shape or position of all blocks. All cells of a puzzle have to be filled. After all blocks are colored, a surprising pixel art picture will be finally revealed.

There are sooooo many ads. And they're almost always the 30 second ones. I would 100% spend money on an ad-free version but there doesn't appear to be one. The game is great for wasting some time, even the expert levels are easy for me but I appreciate the larger puzzle size that takes longer. I just HATE how many ads there are, and no option to get rid of them. When I stop playing, the ads will be the reason.

Nice app. I, at first, loved the daily challenges and was continuously playing those. Caught up with April, and went back to the first available month to play. Good at first... suddenly I get a deja vu feeling. Realize that the puzzles are repeats of what I'm currently playing. Disappointing to say the least.

This is incredibly nitpicky, but I just cannot stand the off-white background of this app. It makes me feel like I'm doing a homework assignment rather than a puzzle for fun. I wish there was an option to choose a different background or even just a random color for each puzzle. Otherwise, it seems solidly put together.

I really enjoy this app, but compared to other pixel puzzles like these, the shapes used within the picture have almost no variety. For example, a shape with 4 squares can either be a long rectangle or a square. The same goes for the rest of the pieces. Larger shapes requiring more squares have even more ways they can be shaped. But instead of varying these shapes, most of them are just long rectangles. This makes the puzzles too easy to the point where it's no longer fun. PLEASE ADD VARIETY!

Definitely worth trying. If you like puzzle games, this is a great one. I came to it from doing nonograms and while there are similarities, it's not quite the same. 4 different skill levels and while it may not seem much different between the 'hard' & 'expert' levels, the expert can be very tricky. I don't have any complaints at all... Even the rare ad is quick and understandable (free games gave ads, get over it).

it's a nice game, more like a color by number than nonogram but I really enjoy it. the ads aren't super intrusive but they do play the same misleading ads over and over before and after every game which gets annoying, and removing them is $5 which i can't really afford. I get that the devs deserve compensation for their efforts so that's why it only lost 1 star. good game otherwise

Entertaining puzzles, really good for when you're trying to zone out but your brain keeps insisting it needs to be occupied with something. Easy to play while still holding conversations, listening to music, waiting on the bus, etc. Also has large backlog of puzzles that you can go play once you're done with the Daily and Event puzzles, so there's always new games.

Bring back the giant puzzles. They were my favorite part. These smaller "hard" ones aren't as detailed and so the completed picture is much less satisfying. Before the update I would have given 5 stars Edit: the big ones are back, perfect for any ten minute wait. One thing I love about these puzzles is that they look a lot harder than they are. They give all the satisfaction of a great picture with none of the mind-numbingness of a paint by number, but even the large ones don't take much time.

I've enjoyed this game. It's a good time waster. The puzzles hit a plateau as far as difficulty goes but I don't really mind that. The controls take some time to get used to, particularly needing two fingers to move the screen when zoomed in, but again once I adjusted I don't mind that much either. It is a fun game with a change of pace from other pixel picture puzzle games.

I like this game so much. But please have more events. You guys had them alot but then stop doing it. I finished every picture on it, twice and completed all the other challenges. And I also finished every month. Can you please make this app a little better, and add more events and challenges. It's starting to get boring, and I don't want it to be. Cause then I'm gonna have to delete it and I don't want too.

Love this comfy little game. I'm playing the nonogram/color option for the game and it is literally so fun because instead of getting annoying trying to fill in ever individual square separately, I can swipe to draw our the color. Not to mention its also a puzzle game and that makes it better. Also about the ads, length of them is inconsistent, however I've never been interrupted while playing a level. Not to mention it's supporting a genuine developer with beautiful art and a delightful game!

Very fun! Was a little confusing at first but after a few easy puzzles I sorted out the strategy enough to go straight to the expert levels. Would like to see events in the future where you're given multiple daily puzzles to complete in a short amount of time, but I have a couple dozen daily puzzles to catch up on so I'm not going to be bored for a while.

A new and interesting take on nonograhm puzzles, and I like that you can change the difficulty level based on your progress. There's lots of ads though but worth the annoyance, I guess. If you made it more worth my while to watch an ad, like have some sort of incentive, I'd be ok with the ads. That's why 4 stars, not 5

Great puzzles to do, but there is no option to pay to remove the ads. I often get 2-3 in a row, which is awful because I usually play on my breaks at work which arent very long. I would gladly pay to remove ads but its not an option. Even worse, the ads are often repetitive or are for games Ive already played. Please allow me to pay to remove them, thank you

Good overall...however, upgraded my phone & transfered everything including my games. Everything transferred just fine but this game is making me start all over from the beginning & I'm so upset about it. I had over 1000 hints saved & over 2 years of every daily puzzle done. I also had all the levels & challenges complete & the acheivments. I'm really frustrated over it. If there is a way to get my game back please help. Thank u!!

Update... down 1 star. About making the expert level expert, here's an idea. Dont tell people they made a mistake. Let us figure it out, possibly having to backtrack many moves. No lives involved. ... First...let me congratulate you on the lack of ads! I dont keep games where ads outweigh playing time. Yours is a keeper. Second, i get the levels for various players but wish the expert were a bit more difficult. As a whole though, this is one of the best apps out there in this category.

I love this game! I uninstalled for a while to save memory on my phone but I saw an ad and reinstalled. I still love it, however, for some reason the puzzle always autofills all one blocks automatically now? Which makes some puzzles much less satisfying. I dont know if its a bug or if this is just the way the game is now but it lost a star for me bc of that. EDIT: it also keeps automatically checking my answers if I make a certain number of mistakes even in Relax Mode. Which gets very annoying.

First off, this isn't a nonogram, but I don't recall what this puzzle is called. That's just a small nitpick, irrelevant to my rating. The problem with this puzzle style is a lack of increasing challenge. Once you've learned the mechanics, there's next to no developments in strategy, regardless of the puzzle size. Overall, the puzzles are okay but quickly become monotonous and unappealing. I'd advise picking up actual nonograms instead.

This app is awesome!! It's not too difficult, but not so easy where you lose interest. Beautiful pics, especially the flower event running now. I have found my new addiction, lol! It would be perfect, but there is no background music. I really think game play would be so much better if there was some music. Other than that though, it's great! :)

I think that the app is very entertaining and also has a very fun style of puzzles. I've played this game for many hours. However, the app caused me to get many 429 errors, rendering many apps useless. Upon further research I realised that this error comes from "too many requests" or unusual traffic on a device, and that an application is usually the cause of this. After deleting this app all my apps worked fine. I don't blame the developers, but I can't rate it 5 stars while this happens.
