Still a bit buggy. Conditions for certain cards are being met, but the effects aren't activating kind of thing. Game seems to stall out/ freeze occasionally. Plus the battery drain is horrible. You could play duel links for 2-3x as long vs this game. Overall though, not a bad game if they can work through the patches and tidy up the game. Doubt they will ever be able to fix the battery drain on this game, but if they fix some of the rough edges, solid 4 star rating change.

Game play is awesome. The online matches get old real quick, nobody plays any fun decks anymore, it's all a bunch of decks that allow turn 1 wins before your opponent can even draw their first card. I'm an old school player, started playing in the 90's when it came to the states. Special summoning has taken center stage and has made the game no longer enjoyable, just stressful when you can't even make a move.

Since I've gotten more into this game over the year I have enjoyed it for thr most part even through thr challenges. However The game has froze in more matches than I can count now. Also Let's include crashing while I'm in matches and ranked at that that cause me to lose match, rank down etc. This is an edit to my last post but nothing has changed and it seems to be happening consistently. Not cool at all.

This game is not friendly for new comers to the game if you want to match up against other players. The matchups are a joke where you get pit against people with 2 turn combo ender builds in bronze. The phone starts heating up after half a hour playing it(samsung s20+). I would only recommend this to those who only want go to practice mode to learn how to play.At this end, the lessons here provided are excellent for newcomers. The art design and animations are good. For me, I am going to pass.

The app seems good, except the fact that it just closes itself constantly. I play much more demanding games than this on my phone (I.E League of Legends Wild Rift) so it isn't a problem with my phone. I can usually start up the game and get into a match, but then within the first or second turn the app closes itself. No error message, nothing. Screen goes black, and then I'm back at my home screen. Please fix this as I would love to be able to play this game fluently without technical issues.

The game is fun, and would be an easy five star, but it often randomly tells me the connection fails, losing me games which can hurt my ranking. My internet is good, and I am able to play more intensive games online without problems, so it doesn't really make sense. On top of that, when it loses connection, it makes no effort to reconnect me, but just immediately makes me lose the game.

Would've given the game 5 ⭐ if it weren't for one thing. It freezes up fairly often. The last solo duel I've been working on, i lost once and it froze up 3 other times. I almost won this last time and then it froze again. Gets rather frustrating. Other than that, it's pretty fun. Easy to aquire cards to beef up your deck. Very thorough tutorial. If the crashing/freezing gets fixed, id definitely change my review to 5⭐

I'm a huge fan, played duel links off and on for multiple years, downloaded this and expected to enjoy myself. I rarely have, the game seems unbalanced and buggy. I'd love to keep playing, but the game crashing after the draw phase in more matches than not, it just doesn't seem worth my time. Otherwise, the game is amazing and I think has incredible potential to live up and even surpass its predecessor; duel links.

This game is awsome and I love playing it. However, it freezes and/or crashes consistently enough to drive me into writing a review about it. I've been either kicked out or have had to shut down my game so many times, and it's especially frustrating when I'm just about to win the duel I'm in. Please fix these bugs and problems please. Or at least offer some kind of in game compensation when it crashes or freezes.

Tasteless meta players aside, I cannot recommend this game to anyone as long as it freezes during ranked matches, causing an uncontrolled loss. Doesn't sound like much, but once you hit gold, it can easily causes an unjust demotion. It also consistently fails connection when dueling friends in a room, and you have to bend over backwards to make it work the way it was meant to. Shame on the dev team for being unable to do the bare minimum of releasing a polished, finished product. Dissapointed.

The game itself is phenomenal and deserving of 5 stars. HOWEVER, the mobile implementation is unbearable. Every action is followed by a 5-10 second wait. That seems small, but with enough actions each turn, a match that should only last 5-10 minutes lasts easily 20+ minutes. It's frustrating, and completely removes any immersion you have in the game. Please fix this!!!

The tutorial is a complete waste of time. You won't be getting into any situations shown in the solo mode for you to practice with, and you start with probably the most do-nothing options with decks. The entire game against other players is just to not let them play. You'll spend incredible amounts of time reading the mountains of text just to figure out half of it doesn't even come up 95% of the time . So if you would like to sit and watch or prevent other people from playing, this is for you.

This looks like its going to be a great game, however, at the moment it is completely unplayable. Crashes all the time, can barely make a deck, cant duel or get through a solo because of constant crashes. I REALLY want to play this, so I hope it gets sorted out soon. Now it won't even open. Seriously unplayable as of yet and yes, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see if that would make it run better. Now i cant even get through the tutorial. This is a garbage, I'm done

2 stars for the great UI, it is basically the only thing that makes me want to play. Other than that, most solo mode scenarios make you play with different decks, having to go through walls of text every time. And that alone isn't enough; whatever you learn from solo mode is useless because your opponent will always win on turn 1 (or set up to win in the next few turns). It took me 5 duels of not being able to play at all to uninstall. Be ready to read and learn A LOT if you want to play.

Sad that Yugioh turned into a game where the first person to chain 20 cards in a combo (not even uncommon) auto wins. Anyways, game crashes constantly on mobile. Starts lagging within a minute of opening the app. 2 stars just for the game's stability alone. EDIT: it runs on mobile with a decent phone. Low budget models need not install. Rest of review is accurate

There are some fun duelists to play against. Most are one turn combo decks which ruins the experience for me. Not everyones cup of tea, but I still like solo mode. I think Konami lost a lot of respect for what theyve been doing but at the same time, I know a lot of people enjoy playing rock paper scissors (because whoever goes first and sets up 4+ negates, wins) (hand traps, sure. But that takes away the fun of having a themed deck)

Love the game play. I love crafting and making decks in this game. I've even spent a ton of money wanting to support and try to build strong decks I've been wanting to try, but it's a huge turnoff when 9 out of 10 matches are the same THE SAME BROKEN CARDS, yet various nostalgic cards(Ex:red-eyes) get hard restrictions. The only reason I don't give this a 1 star and just rage quit is because the game let's me quickly surrender an take that L...instead of sitting there for 10mins for their turn!

Game is great. Missing some of my favorite cards but still has a lot to choose from in order to build a deck with. 2 complaints. First is after you build your first deck, maybe a second, it becomes a lot harder to get crystals to use to buy packs to use to build more decks with. And lastly it seems your opponents always get a lot more time on their turns than you do. I've sat through turns where people have spent 10 min doing nothing but link summons. It's so ridiculous.

This game is nearly pay to win, But that isn't my main issue. With this new update, It's been nothing but constant freezing on mobile. That needs to be fixed quickly. It's not my phone or connection because they're both high-end. Fix the glitches and bugs on MOBILE, Then maybe it'll be a better experience. Also, Just make it so all cards can be dismantled and keep the structure decks as recipes. That way we can get materials faster and make the decks we want, AND pull for the packs we want.

This game is so good it made me completely quit duel links. It is definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. It isn't pay-to-win, there are plenty of resources to go around, you just have to manage them well and there are many new and exciting cards coming out and frequently. However the game is sticking more than ever. I could have dealt with the occasional freezing but now it's unbearable as I lose so many games as a result. Fix that and you'll have my full rating.
