This app is okay. I've had some issues with the floating timer accidentally being selected and then having it move or close because of this. Can't find a way to lock it in one place. Also have an issue where I fell asleep while using my phone and woke up to the timer still going hours later. Can't edit that out, so now all my reports aren't accurate. It would be nice if we could edit the usage time for cases like that.

Good app. I like how I can choose what apps it will monitor. I like the pop up warnings that use real conversational language. I get two option to either go on for 2 more minutes or not get another reminder *for that day*. The problem is that after I accidentally clicked for them not to pop up again for that day, they never popped up again even after that day. Please fix this. This app is a good motivator when it works properly.

This is a great app. The challenges and rating make it "fun" and competitive. The floating timer has helped put into perspective when I'm zoned out scrolling. This definitely helped me cut back on screen time (now an achiever!), although I found the only thing that works to get me off social media consistently is to delete the apps altogether.

I just downloaded today and it seems to be good. I really want more customizing ability on the challenged. Specifically, I'd like a mix of the diet and fasting options - I want to limit my time spent during a set number of hours, and then after those hours, I can use it whenever/for however long I want. So... Intermittent fasting for tech 🤣 put another way, I want to maybe use an app for 30 minutes during a workday and once I hit that limit it would lock.

The interface is pretty user friendly, but the settings are limited and when you have a LOT of apps, setting them to particular groups is a bit clunky. There aren't any time-of-day setting options in the free version, and the options offered in the paid version just don't seem worth it to me. Additionally, the notification that you've gone over your time pops up in the middle of the screen and It's easy to accidentally click off. It's okay if you're looking for something simple.

Very handy! I personally wish the UI was a little more intuitive outsude of the homescreen, it just seems like there's so many different things it's a bit overwhelming. Also would be awesome to have a feature to still track apps, without counting them to your total usage (for example I use the Twitch app to monitor chat whne I stream, but I'm not "using" my phone so I don't want it to count the hours against me).

I love this app. The timer is really helpful, and I love all the adjustable settings and challenges that help keep me off my phone. However I do wish it was easier to navigate the actual app -- there's a lot of options and buttons for said settings that can be tricky to find and change. I do also wish the notifications were a bit kinder? Sometimes they can be really harsh or judgemental.

Achieved my goal, which was to remain on school tasks. I like that there's even a weekly rate which challenges me to maintain my goal. Also, that I get to choose which apps will count for my hours. Personally I don't count spotify (just listening to music) as a distraction, or being on apps that I use to complete homework assignments. What mattered for me is to stay away from spending too much time on YouTube, reading manga, games, or social media. I liked the quotes too, they make me reflect.

I truly love this app and had no idea how much time I spent on my phone until I adjusted the settings and had the floating clock running. It's bittersweet when the app locks me out of my favorite apps, but then I can stay focused on things other than my phone. Only con about this app is that I have to go into the settings daily to toggle the floating clock off/on to get it to reappear, otherwise, it doesn't display. Not sure why it suddenly stopped displaying.

Really helpful app! Lots of features that I still haven't explored after months, but it's nice it doesn't overwhelm you if you just want its basic uses. Free is useful and functional (doesn't restrict the features you got it for) with noninvasive ads; getting (cheap) premium just adds to it. Floating timer stops working if I haven't opened the app in a while and haven't been able to find a phone setting to stop that, but I just reopen. Floating timer is invaluable for my time-blindness!

I love this app!! Very in depth charts to help you see where you are wasting time. I bought the pro version. I sas someone saying that they didn't want apps that run in the background counted... If you mark apps as "productive" they aren't counted toward your daily usage. You can exclude productivity apps from being counted in the settings and it will track them separately.

I've had this app since I paid for it in 2019 (so worth it!), and the last addiction I have yet to shake is YouTube. It's very hard to get rid of as it's internet accessable, but that's not the fault of the app. One issue I do have though, is occasionally I'll open my phone and go to chrome or another monitored app and there won't be a timer. For whatever reason, it sometimes fails to monitor my screen time until I open the app, and I'll have gone over my set time sometimes, but it didn't block

I didn't really realize I had an issue until I got this a couple of months ago... but my average time was usually 4-8 hours. That's between quarter to a half of my day! That's ridiculous. This app, if used right, can be highly effective at shrinking your phone use. If you can't trust yourself to stop with certain apps, there's an "autolock option that's particularly very handy. It's straightforward in most respects, but you'll need to fine tune things ultimately to suit your needs.

One of the most thoughtfully designed apps I have ever come across. From interface design to features to the fact that its purpose is to improve quality of life. If it works as designed I will not hesitate to purchase the full version. Thank you! UPDATE: the app sadly doesn't work. I have used the phone for a week with it installed. it tracks per app usage for the timeline, and daily unlock counts. but it does not track usage time nor generate overall or per app time usage reports.

Absolutely love this app. My phone usage has gone down quite a bit. I love how they rate your phone addiction. It's shocking at first when they say that your dependent or addicted, and it really makes you want to stop. The floating timer on each app (that you choose) is also super helpful. The settings are super easy to customize and helpful! Recommend this app!

This app is really helpful when it works, but it doesn't work consistently. I set a two hour app fast challenge to run every morning. When they run, it's great because I'm locked out of the apps that distract me. However this morning the challenge is only running for one of the 5 apps that I scheduled the challenge for. The rest show that they are scheduled, but are not in progress even though it's the scheduled time. Frustrating.

MANY things I like about this app - the ability to whitelist apps, challenges to curb usage of phone/apps for a certain amount of time, automatic app lock out after a set amount of use, & reports. One thing that I paid for but find less than great is the customized app categories. You can add your own categories but can't eliminate or rename any of the general categories already loaded (ex: Games - I don't need this category at all) & when you do add your own it still just appears under "Other"

I have been using YourHour for school purposes, since I tend to lose hours endlessly scrolling social media this tool has been very useful in how I've been able to monitor my usage and set goals/challenges to minimize my time spent on my phone. There's a timer in the corner of your screen as a reminder that you have a limited time to use certain apps or all apps if that's your case, this app is great for any goal to minimize your cell phone usage. Love it! Thank you!:)

I really like this app and paid to unlock all features, but it hasn't been working properly lately, probably since the last firmware update. It crashes from time to time when I'm using other apps (with the floating timer). It's stuck on loading forever when I go to the dashboard, report, or profile tabs in the app, making it impossible to check my phone use history. Please fix these issues!

Overall this app has been an excellent tool, until around 4 months ago when it stopped working properly. I have not been able to see my daily usage reports, or any reports, for that entire duration. Also, beginning in mid April, the app seems to be randomly erasing chunks of my usage time for apps like Brave browser, so I am not getting an accurate log of how much time I spend on my phone. I used to recommend it to people. Not anymore. Find a better alternative.
