Any details you add to your Yoti are encrypted into unreadable data that only you can unlock. The private encryption key to your data is stored safely on your phone – only you can activate this key and access your details using your PIN, Face ID or Touch ID.

Yoti is a good app and respond urgently I am having Pakistani passport but in my case yoti team replied that UK or Irish passport is must requirement for check right to work in UK I can't understand how I prove my right to work to my employer who just suggested yoti app for background check.

Wasted half an hour going through the long, tedious, glitchy setup only for it to get stuck doing infinite spinning circles. Not something I'd rely on to work at a moment's notice when I need proof of ID.

Yeeeah, this is crazy. This is the only app where I have a problem with the face scan. Have to get into the light, which I did. But then it's too much light. Then when the light is right, oh look there, now it's too blurry. I'm done.

The program has stopped working. It crashes on startup. P.S. After receiving instructions on the support line, we were able to restore the functionality of the program.

Used to be alright. I set a pin years ago, wrote it down, saved on a couple places, sonI know it's correct, but it says it's invalid. This app is the only thing that's invalid.

So slow. Needed to use it for local government site to verify address and it has been days and I'm still seeing same message. Finally found the only thing slower than the government! Why officialdom thinks this is a good way to confirm data is beyond me. It would be a joke if it wasn't so serious, and the way they are opening new offices in various countries makes me wonder just how secure my personal data is or if it is being shunted round different countries to try and get the job done

QR reader doesn't work at all, held phone up at code for 10 solid minutes, trying different distances, device brightnesses and everything but it won't read it. I then tried my phone camera and it worked perfectly in seconds.

Completed all the ID steps without issue and was a lot better than other services I have used previously. The issue came in when I had to use the Yotu app to scan a Yoti QR code on a PC screen. The App's QR reader is non-functional and often times you out as it fails to read the square. When using my standard phone camera, it reads the QR code instantly and provides the link without issue. I tested this numerous times to ensure it was the App and not because of the human element and confirmed

Great ID tool, just needs rolling out into broader applications. E.g polling stations, just need the political motivation and equity.

Really good easy to set up and free problem is despite law supermarkets only accept solid proof so app is useless, I downloaded it so I could use at a polling station hopefully they'll accept it. But how's this useful for students and teens if shops don't accept them.

The most useless app ever. Now on day 4 of trying to get into it and access my account. If you change phones you have to effectively create a new account and then can't create a new account because your data is on the old account. Apparently the issues are my phone and not the app. A 2 year old could make a more easier app to use. Avoid like covid if you can. If my local council didn't demand I use it for their records I really wouldn't. Horrendous app. Apparently it's user friendly.

Your app needs work. I've used other ID verification apps (Authenticater, RealID) that were much easier to use. 1) Your scanner doesn't work well. It took me many times of scanning b4 you accepted (2 It asked for a verification code from my other device, which was my PC, but my PC didn't generate any code 3) it talked about the front and back of my drivers license but it never gave me an opportunity to scan the back 4) you said "wait times may be longer than usual" with no idea when that is.

Doesn't work properly. Couldn't get past the facial recognition due to "technical issues" and couldn't create a recovery file bc of that. Now im locked out and cant create a new account because my number is already in use by an account i cant access.

At first no so good. But later awesome!! I just down loaded the app and went to the web site the web site took my Pic. But later I went back into yoti and they had no info on me. So when you first download I recommend you read everything on every page you want to set the app up first then you will be all set.

Awesome service, easy to install, setup and use. They also have EXCELLENT customer service, much better than any I have got from American companies in many years!! Update: just changed to new phone, yoti is both the easiest and most security conscious app I've had to deal with during the process. Still a top shelf, awesome service!

Awful. Don't even bother with this app, it's the single most buggy, and useless piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure of trying to use, no matter how many times I change my pin to the same 5 numbers, it's NEVER works when you try to use it, without fail, it just doesn't work, and this is after it took 7 attempts to upload my face, buggy mess, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this trash heap of an app 👍 uninstalling right now.
