Very good app, easy to use. A huge positive aspect is the lack of an avalanche of ads, like most apps do. One thing that could be improved, perhaps, is the accuracy of calories for the same types of foods, and measures (some use cups or ounces, when tablespoon would more appropriate, like for oats and cottage cheese). Overall, it's a nice app that can help with keeping the focus on the amount of food and water intaken, and activities done.

Out of all of the similar apps out there, this is my favorite. I always have trouble with other apps and it's barcode scanning and, adding meals. This is the only app that I can actually add foods into a meal instead of logging each and every food separately. It also easily gives me suggestions and let's me search for foods. I also enjoy the mini challenges, such as going without chocolate for 21 days. It really keeps me motivated. It has a lot of features that other apps just don't have.

Good app. Overall the interface is well designed, easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. Great that it can sync with other fitness trackers. A few complaints. They way the app deals with servings/units is confusing resulting in many erroneous food entries in their database. I am having to reference nutritional info on my food packaging to make sure the macro nutrients per serving are correct which takes a lot of time. It would be nice to be able to copy entries from previous days' food diary.

When you search food it doesn't have as many options as I would like, such as restaurants. It might have one calorie count for something and the one below it is completely different. It's hard to know what's right or wrong. You can add them in but I don't want to do that every time so I feel like I am guessing. I wish it would have things set as peice or amount. It reminds you frequently to log info and encourages you which I like, and has a lot of meal options. The meal calorie count is nice.

The Update ruined it. Previously, the app was a breeze to use, priced well, and very useful. Now the UI is uglier and everything takes more time to input. For example, you can no longer see the brand of foods you search for unless you click into each item that shows up. Finding a particular food item in the database now requires numerous more clicks and a lot more time. It's genuinely a pain to use now and I can't recommend it.

This is definitely one of the most attractive nutrition tracking apps. I really love the fasting countdown. The only thing that keeps me from using it more often is that about 50% of all foods I scan don't have the correct nutrition information. I end up having to either input everything myself, or just change the serving size to get the calories close to the right amount.

Middle-aged woman, I love it. Number one, I appreciate that this app does not force you to sign up although you do have the option. Emails and all that aren't demanded, although I suggest for the Ultimate Experience. I did the free version for a while and loved it and ultimately signed up for the whole enchilada. I find it helpful and I'm finding success. At my age I don't look for a quick fix I expect any unrealistic results. This app is giving me what I need slow-and-steady results I recommend

I've only used Yazio for one day and I already love it. Pros:no intrusive ads, its not only a calorie counter but a supportive coach, the water tracker motivates you throughout the day with messages that you'll want to reach your goal. It seamlessly syncs with Google fit so that calories burned transfer over to your meal plan. Cons: Food database needs work. Many food choices once scanned were not correct. But you are able to add the correct food item to the database.

I like the app but I wish it was easier to put in the exercises. For example I used the treadmill at a high incline and theres no option in the app for using a treamill or really any other gym equipment. I know you cann sort of put in your own workout calculations but even doing that is a little annoying. I do really like being able to put in everything i eat with the calories being pretty accurate!

This app is, as an app, definitely better than "that other one." But it's limited: you can only sync from *one* brand of device; add another and it switches. (Google Fit is useless as a hub as many devices don't sync fully or at all.) Polar support is broken enough that I went back to manual entry. Nor is it particularly innovative about food handling, and there's no website access: device or nothing. Still, much better than MFP.

Everything is cool but the fasting feature...hope i can adjust more freely. Whenever you cancel the fasting program, it often messes up the stuffs. Like, I was doing 5:2 fasting but i ended it early. And while i was trying to plan the whole week, i canceled the fasting program, then i lost all of my fasting record from today. It's a bit annoying.. i wish i can track/edit manually and more freely. Other than that, it's pretty good app to check your nutrition & calories (i use non-free version)

Let's get into the bad before the good. This apps calorie tracker and nutrition count, even on SCANNED ITEMS is incorrect and you manually have to input every thing if you want an accurate reading of your calorie count. It's a great app with lots of potential, the motivation and recipes is very good but the beginning is unforgivable. Lose it is a lot better of an app then this is and has the same features

If I had realized how central fasting was to this app I wouldn't have bothered subscribing, it seems like a pathway directly to disordered eating. I should have done my due diligence while researching counting and activity calendar apps. The vaunted barcode scanner is missing tons of things. Be prepared to spend a lot of time paying to do data entry for yazio, at least as far as the first times you eat certain things. Theres no simple way to add home cooked foods. Or I haven't found it anyway

Better than MFP but extremely difficult to navigate. I've been trying to figure out how to open up the barcode scanner for 2 hours within the app but can't figure out. The online help bot is worthless and describes a older version instead of the current version and the documentation lacks and outdated too... The only way I could figure it out was to use the widget... I don't want to type or speak everything I'm eating.

So far it's extremely frustrating. If you make an err, It's either impossible or a long frustrating process to correct. I accidentally entered my weight wrong. It won't let me change it. So, my total weight loss is inaccurate every day. Many times you can't enter the correct amount of food you've eaten. Like if you only ate a Tbsp of peanut butter, it only lets you choose oz. I signed up for Pro, it's too frustrating to continue to use, so just out my money.

Its okay so far, but adding new foods needs a little tweak. There are a few items I consume that involve halves. Having that decimal point to make everything more accurate would really help. Also, some of the serving sizes on preloaded things are off which makes me have to double or tripple for my own serving.

I've paid for this app and have used it for about a week. I love it except for adding foods. I'm frustrated with having to type a general description in of each meal, and most of the time the meal that comes up is won't and I have to edit it. I've updated the app but cannot find a barcode scanner or any other way to add food. This makes it more tedious than it needs to be. I'll use it since I paid for it, but I would not buy it again

I'm on week 3 with the paid pro app version. Scanner - many foods are not recognized. If they are, many times the serving sizes are incorrect so I have to go in and correct. Also at times, I enter my food, only to be left with a snipping wheel as it's loading. I'm left more frustrated than pleased. I guess I'm out what I paid. Doubtful I will renew this in a year

"I've used this app extensively, and have had success losing weight. But it has become frustrating and time-consuming for precise tracking. It feels more suited for beginners or casual dieters. The food library, largely user-generated, often contains inaccurate serving sizes and calorie counts, requiring constant double-checking. Additionally, the app lacks sophistication in tracking micronutrients. Again Yazio needs greater efficiency and accuracy where it counts

If you respect your time, your sanity, and want to actually track you calories with ease and keep track of your fasting period. DO NOT GET THIS APP. People rave about how there aren't any intrusive ads, but they fail to mention nearly everything is locked until you spend money. I apologize but a fasting tracker is literally just a timer that's connected to a graph and you want me to pay you for that? Spend some time browsing some older apps that do these functions, but haven't doesn't want $$$.
