Still better rated than the official Kodi / XBMC remote app after a decade. Just one advice if using with Plex - ensure you use a plex.tv account without 2FA setup as that seems unsupported.

Just awesome. Update: sorry to read about your financial troubles. I for one am a paid user, but wouldnt mind some ads if it keeps you going, both for a limited free version, and for the paid one. Perhaps a solution where you unlock, then after 30 days you see ads again, and you can "unlock" again to remove for another month. Subscription though, no thanks. I don't use yatse enough to justify the cost. Unless it's like 5€ a year or so, but I doubt that's enough? Keep up the great work, your app is one of the best on play store all categories (Podcast Addict being another one, which has ads btw. :-))

Amazing. Using only to sync unconverted Plex media files straight to my phone. This is what the plex app should do but can't! Love the new autodownload/delete and only download when on wifi feature. Love using mx player along side it (stretch that screen to fit 16:9 phone) The tech support is amazing too. Emailed a problem. Sent some logs. Couple of hours later, problem solved. Cannot wait to see new updates come. Keep up the good work. Update..... Still amazing

Updated from 4 to 5 stars as this was fixed long ago. Years later and still a user and a fan. My original review remains below for posterity. Since the UI update (which I am a fan of) widget color indicators no longer update correctly between selection of different media centers. Aside from the color update issue -which is a minor issue trust may not affect everyone - this is a solid application.

Edit: I got your answer! But my point is that there is already an 'info' button for that information. IMHO it would be really good for the UX if clicking the album art would open the album. Navigating the 3 dots menu every time can get tedious. Really good app overall! Just a single thing I'm missing from the emby app: a quick way to go to the artist or album page from 'now playing', without going though another menu. Would be amazing if clicking the album art would actually open the album!!

A wonderful companion to Kodi. More than just a remote, it allows you to share items on your phone to the screen. The most useful to me is to send YouTube links to Kodi

Best app I've ever installed. Been using it for years through multiple phones on multiple computers running multiple versions of Kodi. I can't recommend it enough.

Way cool. Makes controlling kodi(s) from your phone(s) a breeze. Me and the Misses both have it on our phones. Its been rock solid since we first used it years ago. Im about to donate again cos its worth it. 2024. Donating again cos we use it all the time. Go dude!

Best app I could dream of. Watching things with OSMC and the whole UX is very well thought out. I can push videos from my phone's camera onto the screen for example, the integration is awesome

I decided to try out yatse once more, I had used it a long time ago when I used Kodi in my house. It now integrates with so many media centres, I'm frankly quite astonished. So.. I try Plex, my Plex is being run remotely, I figure it'll probably have some issue, nope works perfect, I'll try Kodi from my laptop, awesome!!! Mr developer, I bow my hat off to you, you've created something truly special, I hope you're very very proud of what you've developed! Well done😉😉

Would love for this to directly support the PreShow Experience add-on for Kodi someday, otherwise it's among the best. Upping rating from 3 to 5. Too many people complain about having to pay a few dollars for additional features. If they like the software, give the developer a few bucks/quid. Whether you see eye-to-eye with them on everything is irrelevant. They do this for a living, so instead of that fancy Starbucks coffee, help to keep the software you enjoy to remain the software you enjoy.

Great software and will probably get the pay for version soon as I now have android so can use even more features on a much upgraded device. Still the best. Just discovered the smart playlist feature and randomise! Amazing I have my own DJ mode based in string search and flac only tracks now 🥳, tried on the full demo will now buy as works great! Update - pleased I bought it works great! Still the best!!

What a amazing XBMC remote. Been using the free version for a couple of weeks now. So much better than the "official" app. Must recommend this to anyone using xmbc. Updated: Ten years later and im still using this remote control for kodi/libreelec this the best things since slide bread I have even been using it at festivals for a music server or movie player with a projector and Bluetooth speaker. I have donated several times over the years. And still amazed how good it is

Still, keep it up, almost 5 (now 10+) years later (for me), still rocking it. Keep it up! - Update: Still lovin' it, way better than Kore. Custom Command could use a "Disable Subtitles" (or let me know how to add it) UPDATE: still loving it! Another update: New layout is good, however, the playing vs not playing remote slides the arrows, would be nice to have a Now Playing placeholder all the time.

Update: Still using this remote. Got use to the new layout from 5 years ago. Very useful with kodi. No problems in the 5 years since my original review. Bumped to 5 stars Original review: Liked the old remote layout better and the black theme for the older version better but still a good remote. The "new" design and themes look more like the boring kodi kore remote. Bring the old black theme and design back as a option.

Still no better Kodi remote out there! PERIOD. It's stupid simple to setup and use (my wife can even do it, and she has a bad relationship with tech) and has even more great features and add-ons for geeks like me than before! I bought the unlocked over 7 years ago, shortly after I got my first Android phone. I still consider it the best purchase I've ever made in the app store!

Yatse has become one of my all time favorite remote and the UI is easy on the eyes. I've been using it off and on for the past few years and it does a good job of helping keep my media organized. The only thing I've found to be a issue is the fact it doesn't wake on LAN on a consistent bases. Other than that I hope the team over at YATSE keep up the good work so that the audio/video file heads will continue to help them build on a already great legacy.

I tried using wireless keyboards and manufacturer remotes, but nothing worked as well as I was wanting.... Until I found this app. This app is great. It works great as just a remote, but offers so much more. You can stream pictures and video from your phone to your TV, you can veiw your full media library on your phone and play any of it on your TV.... This is a must have app for kodi.

Years using this software and honestly, it's one of the few apps that doesn't let me down and that's goes above and beyond. I use this with my Raspberry Pi and couldn't ask for more. Couple little things could be made a little better (for instance when you browse tv shows and click on an episode, it should start where you left off, not from the beginning) but honestly, most useful app I have outside of navigation :) Thank so much for great product, will be purchasing full version unlocker
