Identity
Sync your list of favorite locations on Yandex Weather to other devices by granting this permission.
Location
Automatically get the forecast for your location by granting this permission.
Wi-Fi connection information
You can get the approximate forecast from Yandex Weather according to your Wi-Fi connection when GPS is unavailable by granting this permission.
Device ID & call information
You can get the approximate forecast for your location based off the nearest cellphone tower when GPS is unavailable by granting this permission.
Yandex Weather does not collect information about your phone calls.

Sept 2019: By far most accurate weather forecast platform out there. I find it usually being half an hour to one hour late with predictions (when sudden changes in weather like storms, showers, etc.) I guess that feedback option, where every user gets a chance to send back the info on real time conditions, makes it so accurate. Sept 2020: I haven't seen such a regression in quality of an app appearance/organization after the latest update like with this one. What happened Yandex?! Removing it.

Been using for years, great app and the ads aren't intrusive. Different weather outside? Report it in the app, don't like ads? Disable it in the about menu, want notifications? Enable it in the settings, this app has almost everything you could want or need in a weather application, there isn't anything I would change honestly. Keep up the good work and take my five stars as always!

4.7 stars. The reason I really like this app, is that you can give feedback on whether it's raining or not in your location.

After thorough testing, this became the only weather app I use. Perfect in any aspect. The widget is great as well. Note to developers: the map itself and the labels (Молнии, условия исп., сейчас) are in Russian which contrasts with the rest of the English interface, this is the only thing that bothers me.

I haven't discovered all the features yet, but for now I can say it does what expected of it, I'd suggest three mild changes though: first most is that it desperately needs a dark theme; second notification panel background slider is not properly responsive, it is hard to start moving and it is visually hard to remember the position, and since you need to match the result in the panel the constant switching appears -- it needs a make over; finally, current K-Index information is missing.

Please add a popup notification for forthcoming rain, for example 30 minutes in advance. Excellent! Very nice and accurate weather app, I particularly like the weather radar map that shows precipitation, including the next 2 hours. Have suggested being able to open this straight from the app (selecting opening page), hope these can be included in the future. Overall an excellent app.

It is adequately accurate and easy to use with most of the specific features I'm looking for in a weather app, most of all the ability to retrain your last "current location" without the need for constantly active gps. Most other apps cannot do this. One downside is the lack of searchable locations where i live. Would like to see this expanded upon.

Hey small adjustmen suggested, map and bottom bar are showing rain, nav bar it says no precipitation is expected in next two hours, great app dough, perfect and reliable

One of the most accurate app with basic info - once before few years. Now average as others apps and often wrong forecast.

It's almost perfect but there a bug which prevents you from adding more than one favorite! It always shows the previous favorite even when searching for new locations so you can't star new locations.

Very nice app. However the widget doesn't update with Nova Launcher. Have to do it manually now. If fixed, my favourite weather app

Rain starts in 3 hours simulator. And you should rename yourself into Direct Circus Computer Systems Trading LLC. I need a weather FORECAST, not NOWCAST, I can tell if there's a rain cloud about my head just fine without your app, thank you.

Used mostly with widget. However it doesn't update info in background. Sometimes it showed the weather from two days ago.

As far as I know this App, it's one of the most inaccurate app that I have ever used. At least it's true for the place where I live , Saint Petersburg Russia. It can't forcast the weather even for one day ahead.

everything is working well, but add already a material UI widget to not set it up every time after set a new wallpaper!!! how many years should we wait for it? it's released in Android almost 10 years ago!

My current location always switches automatically to London. I'm in Málaga. I've never been to London. I've never chosen London. I understand that London is a very important place for every Russian but not in this case. Update: recently the temperature in the widget started to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. When I set It to Celsius it changes back to Fahrenheit after some time.

Hmm, since I cannot read Russian, it does no good to plaster me with ads since I can't read them!: App needs language choices. It makes no sense that the app auto-locates what county I'm in (USA), but I have to search for the city I live in and save as Fave to get it to show up? Also, no way to contact developer in-app, so my complaints are here! No option to pay to get rid of the Russian ads, either. Whole app is very rudimentary with VERY few settings.

Fact of life.. Google censors.. ( ALOT Yandex does NOT. Browser I got 30 free downloads of my favorite music, unavailable elsewhere. Accurate weather, reliable cloud storage, phenomenal keyboard, I can now text my friends worldwide with accurate translation, in their language, (which is priceless amazing!) And find my way with reliable maps. You bet I recommend Yandex! Time to move away from Google and enjoy my phone for once! 😊 best decision, and will like to see everywhere in united states.
