Interface is simple and elegant. And I like that they decided to integrate notes functionality into the app. I can access all my photos, videos and notes from any device. Upload and Sync is effortless and I never have to worry about it . The included editor is basic but gets the job done and everything is well catagorised into folders. Only complaint would be the price of storage, it is INR 210 for 100gb while Google charges INR 120 for the same. Overall a very good cloud storage app 😌

The storage space is nice, but I haven't found a way to hide the pictures that are on your phone that you have deleted from the cloud. I want it so that you can toggle viewing phone pics that arent uploaded. Also,not all folders appear in the disable automatic upload setting to stop them from uploading, even though it works for some other folders. If it becomes easier to manage the photos and videos, this would be 5 stars Response edit: only some of my folders appear in the 'disable' setting.

Great app. One issue I find is that (at least on a PC), it does not display on the browser nor on the downloaded desktop programme the size of folders (only the size of files). PLEASE display the size of folders too since it's a key feature for a cloud service and it's keeping me from using the premium service! Edit: Thank you for your reply! It is seeable that way, but only one file at a time and there isn't such button on the desktop application. It'd be so much better displayed on a column!

This one of the closest and the best competition to Google I have ever seen. I have purchased additional 1TB and have never looked back. I have migrated close to 200 gigs of data so far. The desktop app is also amazing which can easily sync the files and folders. The mobile app is the closest to the Google Photos. I have never seen any issues with speed in either upload or download. Only downside is that the videos are not shown in the mobile app. Also a separate app for photos would be good.

Updated review: I wish there was an option to create shared albums where you can invite your friends/family so they can add photos. This was a feature my friends and I used a lot in Google Photos. --- A great alternative to Google Photos. The ads aren't that intrusive in my experience. Search algorithm isn't perfect, but it's good enough. If you want to get rid of the ads, their storage plans are reasonably priced as well.

Overall it's good app with reasonable price for an extra space. The only thing I don't like is automatic grouping of photos and reminders(comments) for some of the content which photos represent. It seems like algorithms are a bit intrusive and scan every single picture. Really, there's no need for app to remind me about 'beautiful moments spent in the mountains'.

Unlimited storage for photos and videos in their original quality is just unbeatable, and the UI is good too. The only problem I had was roughly 50 images uploading to the disk and showing as if they were taken recently, even though they're much older according to their exif data. I would also propose to add the "Edit photo" button to the the bottom of of the image viewer.

It's okay, didn't get past the mobile number verification after the country code. Says in error. ... Update: I cannot email out and I disable my Google. Says "Error" when I enter my phone number to register for create ID. I understood what happened to my previous accounts.

there is no normal adaptation to different operating systems. This is especially important for family subscriptions. The terrible delineation of space taken from Google. There is no free storage. Proxmox it will help everyone else...

I've been using Yandex Disk for about 7 years now. It's very easy to use, useful, unintrusive, stacks of space, and just enough novelty to keep it interesting to use without being annoying. The only thing for me that lets it down is the lack of photo editing support on the fly.

As with all Yandex apps, this has features that had not been with Google, such as ability to edit photos more. I have also photos backed up to cloud storage, free 5GB storage, and everything synced to Yandex ID makes everything organized, safe and easy. I have had no complaints. 👍🙂

Brilliant, until I could not access the app. I would do fingerprint? So to access settings I need to do what first? I can't access any Yandex apps on my new device. So I can't create password or pin. I need to access it first to do that. Blame Google. Monopoly. SMS codes are rigged to never sync. So you can't create new passwords.

A handy cloud file sharing service that can be used to share files with people not having a Yandex account. Prefer it to Google Drive for this reason.

Very limited photos edit options. There's no option to create a secure shared albums listed in app and web version. The most annoying thing to me: it's impossible to pick a language of interface, app is bounded to the system language. Since I'm Russian but got used to have an English interface on my phone, but I have no option to choose Russian for this particular Russian app.

I'm a 6-year user, and I think this is the best cloud storage, especially when you consider the subscription cost. For half the price of Google Drive and Microsoft Drive, you can get unlimited uploads for your photos and videos and a beautiful UI.

I like it a lot better than Dropbox but I wish it was easier to organize the pictures & files better. Or if it pulls files/pics from my phone from a certain folder that it makes another folder & puts those items in the same folder. Like a mirror instead putting all my pics & docs from different folders into 1 big one. I like my stuff organize. Thanks

Amazing cloud storage. Fast upload and downloading and so much better than DropBox when it comes to cost and ease of access. A few concerns or improvement. *Please make it so that we can download items and move away from the app. If you leave the app. The download will stop. Auto upload for all items added to phone. Apps, docs, files and photos. Other then that. Thank you for such a great app. I proudly pay my $2 per month for 100gb of storage.

I love almost All Things Yandex. Wouldn't you know, Yandex.disc is the one cloud storage app that is actually Synced in real time, and thusfar, None of my photos have gone missing as often happens in other apps. Saw where the developer replied. Keep the innovations and improvements coming! It will really be great if you could expand the photo editing features of the app. I am partial to the idea because I have taken up editing photos, a new hobby. Unquestionably the coolest cloud photo storage!!
