I had to repost. Someone keeps configurating apps Yahoo search is one of them. After installing i tried searching for facebook and was unable. My data is being shared WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT. I didn't want to rate in order for me to post I had to rate. JUST BE CAREFUL INSTALLING THIS APP.

Until recently, this was working fine.... however, since the last "update", it's glitchy and quite frankly not worth the effort. Nothing loads, searches are so full of bugs and it's just stopped working altogether.....I won't be reinstalling.

Has "option" to save search history or not. I chose not to. It still saves it anyway. What else are they lying about? What other information are they collecting regardless of your choice? Social security numbers? Credit card info? Also, old articles with no published date on picture. This app can't be trusted.

Why do you always crash trying to leave the comment section? The page 99% of the time blips goes blank and you're stuck, page crashes can't leave without closing the app. This is by far the most frustrating thing that yahoo has ever done. Aside from showing off news about celebs left and right that seem to be on this "all about me" status quo that i no longer care about. This is why i don't think i have much patience left with you guys or google. Don't use Yahoo services if this's all they do.

I thought that app could replicate the news I read from Yahoo on my PC but it only display trending news from USA although it correctly identified my geographic location. I have to rely on my trusted Chrome browser to read my Yahoo regional news which is a better option than having a 78Mb app which is a dud. Uninstalling

Just recently....the search engine will not provide images for any searches. It states safemode is active but when I turned it off it keeps saying the same thing. Wasn't sure what was going on until I came here just to read the reviews and it seems as if many people are having the same issue!!!

As a long-time user of Yahoo search engine, I find its interface, speed and accuracy to be top-notch. However, I believe Yahoo can take things to the next level by integrating AI chatbots into its search engine. This would provide users with a smart assistant that can answer questions, generate content and enhance the overall user experience. Microsoft has already implemented this feature in Bing, so I hope Yahoo follows suit to remain competitive and attract more users.

Everytime I change my preference settings for the browser it immediately resets to default. I need safe search turned off but the app will not let me. No matter what I do, it immediately switches back to default as soon as I leave the preferences menu.

I also want to thank Yahoo for its fast recognition of the situation and the quick and easy illustration of guiding me through the things I needed to do in order to resecure the structural integrity of my emailing system. If it wasn't for the unilateral cooperation of all three components and companies working cohesively together in the exact same times as they did the culprits may have gone for quite a while longer engineering their schemes than they did. You guys did a great job.

Changes my SafeSearch preferences to STRICT every time.... Been through the settings and have attempted multiple times unfortunately with the same result.... Uninstalled!!! WELL AFTER READING ALL THE FOLKS WITH THE SAME ISSUE AFTER 3+ YEARS OF REVIEWS, ITS NICE TO KNOW NOBODY HAS THE COMMON SENSE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE... NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE.....

It connects all info with my main browser. The whole point of installing this was so I could separate the 2. It's awful trying to go through menu settings and they just don't work. It takes 5 seconds to load to a setting option another 5 seconds to turn it off then another 5 seconds to back out of it and then it doesn't actually stay.

I've been a Yahoo! faithful virtually from its very beginning... even after they pussed-out deciding to become "powered by bing" and despite its heavy reliance on "Click Bait." It's still my go-to search tool on PC, so I thought I'd get some of those same benefits in Android to avoid the unmentionable "G-word". NO SUCH LUCK! I've got to jump through multiple hoops just to enter a search term, and most of the time it'll error message me & won't even connect. TOTAL WASTE OF PRECIOUS MEMORY SPACE!

Can't open this app at all on my phone keeps saying it has a bug and clear cache, which I did and still won't open have uninstall 3 time and still won't open.

Great! Customer service is ON IT as soon as I call them. I've had a few separate incidents of my TOXIC EX hacking into all my accounts in phone,+contacts,+apps, +emails etc. Luckily Ive got a Detective watching now. Its been 3+months now, building her case. I AM pressing charges to all involved.
